Dog-amoto
I don't really watch this except for the initial auditions where people are laughably bad or think they're better than they are and end up in tears which is piss funny. Anyway the girlfriend is watching right now and I'm having my ears raped at this very moment Anyway, use this topic to laugh at/rant at the people on the show. Cube
Last year was great - two of the worst singers in existence made it into the final with some kid who noone remembers and the great Rhydian.
Daft
I also only watch the auditions. Just to see people's dreams destroyed. Especially fun when they are completely disillusioned. I'm a soulless monster though.
Dog-amoto
Oh yeah, the ones who come in with a sob story make me laugh too. "My boyfriend was killed last year in a car crash when the car he was driving ploughed into the hospital where my 3 year old brother with leukemia was being treated and I'm doing this to get a better life for our son who's got Downs Syndrome and piles" Cue the shitty music in the background, the begging to the judges and the obligatory tears when they cave in and let them through
Strider
I loled at those two muppets singing 'Never Gonna Give You Up'. I think they were serious.
Paj!
I loled at those two muppets singing 'Never Gonna Give You Up'. I think they were serious. I don't get what goes through people like these heads...I mean, only one of the two actually sang, so why was it a 'group"? The other, moronic looking one just badly imitated what sounded like a jamaican accent for a few "Oh"'s and "Ah"'s.
Haden
I loled at those two muppets singing 'Never Gonna Give You Up'. I think they were serious. Highlight of the show so far. The loser guy just standing there going "oh yeh" etc and repeating lines in a fake Jamaican accent was hilarious
Retro_Link
Holly Willoughby is the X Factor highlight for me! Love her!
Gizmo
God damn I hate this show. I get my parents sitting in the next room (which has no door inbetween and only a very primitive wall - it's basically an open area) watching it, and even with my massive headphones on I can still hear the shit seeping through. Coolness Bears
I don't really watch it as it's not very interesting (except for the bad ones at the start ). The only reason I'd watch it: :p
jayseven
I loled at those two muppets singing 'Never Gonna Give You Up'. I think they were serious. Dude, they were totally not serious. I'd bet any money on that. They could barely keep a straight face! ... But yeah, i just like the auditions.
Mr_Odwin
When the auditions end and it goes into the studio and gets all serious I'll switch to Strictly Come Dancing. I'm married, so I'm allowed to enjoy such Saturday night drivel.
Owen
It's all fake, i should know..i've done it. Such a great editing job they do..it's unreal.. Very clever..shame they never tell anyone that you have to go through about 4 auditions with producers before seeing the judges..and that they don't put through the amazing singers...and that they tell you to wear the same clothes so it looks like it was the sameday. It was a laugh though, got me out for a couple of days..and i saw Arsenal Stadium and the O2 Arena which i've never been too!

I've been meaning to read Ben Elton's Chart Throb as my g/f says its so funny and insightful into how such a reality show is run.
somme
I only watch the audition phase as well as it's quite comical and interesting to see the people who can sing...only to later hear they've one and have been forced to sing in a style they really didn't want to. Ah well, shouldn't go on Xfactor, do it the real way.
EEVILMURRAY
I don't really watch it as it's not very interesting (except for the bad ones at the start ). The only reason I'd watch it: :p I only saw that chap in the live show, which I wonder how he got that far in the first place. What's weird is how the audience were booing him and chanting Off Off, and as soon as Simon started agreeing with them, they boo him and actually seem happy when he gets through.
