noooo... it has to go on forever, but the guy who plays Sandy is dead and it's been a couple of decades since the original series. Oh well, I will have to get my Monkey fix by watching the other Journey to the West series. Time for a new yesasia box set order.

 

3/10? Very forgettable for the final of 2 series.

This shit is awesome, borrowed all 5 series from my sister's boyfriend (he's very evangelical about it), and I'm currently half way through episode 11 of season 1. Good bless HBO, first Band of Brothers, then Rome, and now this.

Well its the funniest TV show ever, so duh. It really comes into its own in Season 2, with the self referencing, the "in jokes" and ....its unrelenting magnitudes of epic whynzahax.

I watched up to Episode 6 today, would wathc more, but 7 was playing up/region-locked. I'll try later. /tomorrow.

 

But yeah, really funny.

 

I loved;

"What do you want?!"

"..It's Maeby. She...needs a new dress. People broke into her locker. They beat her up."

 

And when Michael picks up that woman in his car, thinking it's the cleaner, and she thinks he's going to kill her.

watching through season 3 of entouage and i'm fuckin luvin the series......1st season was ok, didn't really hook me but once second season got going i've been hooked! Watching like 2 episodes every day!

 

I love Ari Gold. Fuckin legend.

Veronica Mars - The Rapes of Graff a.k.a. The One With George Michael and Maebe

 

So according to E4 these things are not allowed on daytime tv; threatening to rip out someone's spine (on Mortal Kombat), tazering, fighting, the word "rape" (which is unfortunate as the line "tell me, how was your rape?" is a classic), and the word "hooker" (again, shame that "Dad, your hooker is here" was cut).

 

However these things are fine; motorboating (and not the sport kind), general theme of rape, allusions to underage sex and hookers as long as they're referred to as "escorts".

 

Good to know where the line is drawn.

 

Do love the episode though and was my first introduction to Tegan and Sara (well second, a song was used in an earlier ep but never really noticed it) and some great comedy moments (you know, amongst the mass rapes).

I love them all. Especially Maeby's face.

I love Maeby. I think she's perfectly summed up in a line she says during season two; "now I'm just lying for now reason." Shame Alia Shawkat hasn't been up to too much recently. And legal now as she is quite hot, but was 14 when AD started.

 

Anyway, I finished my re-re(etc)-watch of Arrested Development last night. Hurry up with the frakin' movie already!

Just finished watching the second season of Sleeper Cell... decent, but no where near as good as the first season. The final episode was odd... the main character doing something that was very... out-of-character.
