iLLiterate Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Shopto - a lot of people have had problems with having their credit card details stolen/used after shopping at this site (it was the one common site many games had purchased from). I think this issue has been resolved, but personally, I'm a bit wary about it.
ShadowV7 Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Really? Sure they just didn't have a virus? I've used them for ages and always been top notch.
Ashley Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Looking to buy Wii Fit for my sisters' birthday(I'm a triplet, 20th, thought I should get them both something nice). Anyone know of a good offer or anything? Amazon seem to be cheapest at £80. Scratch that, John Lewis 68.95. Bargain! You want to use it really FATTY! Tescos online have it for £60 but out of stock. Might be worthwhile asking them when they're back in?
mr_bogus Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Seriously games for £2.85 (shit games) but yeah. Overlord on DS isn't shit (was £3.85) and neither was Psyvariar on PS2 (for £1.97). Yes, £1.97, that's like, hardly even covering their postage
Tellyn Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 You want to use it really FATTY! Tescos online have it for £60 but out of stock. Might be worthwhile asking them when they're back in? I noticed Shopto are actually selling the Wii Fit Plus + Balance Board bundle for £56.
Nintendohnut Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Awesome! Thanks for all the replies. I made an account there some time ago, but never bought anything from them. But now I've heard such good reports I'll go for it.
Emerald Emblem Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 I had a bad experience with Shopto, charging my credit card when my order wasn't placed, took a good fortnight or so for them to fix it. Granted I e-mailed rather than called them. I haven't ordered anything on my Shopto account, I tend to get better deals on what I want elsewhere or they come with the prices when my Pre-orders get processed.
ReZourceman Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 I had a bad experience with Shopto. It raped me.
ShadowV7 Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Well to be fair, who hasn't. You sexy piece of ass!
MoogleViper Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Well to be fair, who hasn't. You sexy piece of ass! Are you sure you've got the right person?

Ellmeister Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 (edited) £56?!?!?! What's the catch O.o Its made by someone called NJOY not the actual Nintendo one... As well as Ash Ketchum's suggestion, also a third party Wii board. John Lewis does the real one for £70, anyone know a cheaper one that has the real board? Edited April 16, 2010 by Ellmeister Automerged Doublepost
Eenuh Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 I looked around for you online, but I think about £70 is the cheapest you'll find. Though do pick up Wii Fit Plus, not the first one. Has many more extras, plus all the stuff from the first game. =) Good luck in finding it!
Ellmeister Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Yeah, most places only do wii fit plus anyway. Is it worth buying wii fit the game as well? Bearing in mind, this is for my two sisters that don't really play games, I just thought they would enjoy the doing stuff/ exercise benefits of it all.

As far as I'm aware (we have both but I didn't try much of the second one), all of the content of the first game is in Wii Fit Plus. Basically it's the same game, except Plus has some extra games/exercises (hence the Plus haha).

He did see it I think, but the balance board included is a third party one, not the official one. I'd personally go for the official one as well I think.

Guest Captain Falcon Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Are shopto accepting maestro cards again yet? I had difficulty using mine when trying to make some recent purchases and they said they were having problems with the card type.

Ellmeister Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Me neither. But I just happened to notice it on one, and then saw it on another. Thanks for the help anyway folks, hopefully my sisters will enjoy their present!
