flameboy Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I finally got my new laptop let the PC gaming fun commence!
The Bard Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Do any of you peeps play Planetside 2 at all? I am totally in love with the game.
flameboy Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 (edited) Well my first day has involved me playing dumb amounts of football manager 2013 and finally starting torchlight (yep that's how far back my PC backlog would go) I'm kind of balancing between new and old or trying to. Going to see if DOTA 2 is worth putting time into. Got a wishlist of newer games I want to pick up: Rogue Legacy Papers Please Cube World Chaos Engine Don't Starve Gunpoint Edited September 4, 2013 by flameboy
gaggle64 Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 I finally got my new laptop let the PC gaming fun commence! Which one did you get? Do any of you peeps play Planetside 2 at all? I am totally in love with the game. Would if I had the processor for it. Will probably get into it on PS4.
flameboy Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Which one did you get? Would if I had the processor for it. Will probably get into it on PS4. Not the toshiba that was last discussed but one that was $599 a model up and has dedicated graphics card and quad core processor. A question for people has anyone ever used xpadder? Want to pick up cube world but play with controller not trackpad and keyboard. There is a paid version for $10.99 and an older 5.3 freeware version which should I go for.
MATtheHAT Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Never used xpadder, but if you are going to game on your new laptop, a decent mouse is pretty much essential.

My thoughts for controller are sofa play! I can't believe the likes of binding of isaac don't have controller support natively.
Nolan Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Binding of Isaac works well with keyboard though, Mouse only for a certain weapon imo. A second 7950 and a 2560x1440 Korean monitor (Samsung panel) Looking to do some high resolution Crossfire action. Should get everything in a few days to a week.
drahkon Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 ...watched this last night... No way I will ever play this. No fucking way. ... As soon as this gets released on PS4 I will play it. And at some point I have to continue playing Amnesia...stopped after 30 minutes, because I was scared

nightwolf Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Oh god, I mean, I'm watching a let's play a the moment of it, with the lights on etc. I get scared of that, never mind, playing myself.
flameboy Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Binding of Isaac works well with keyboard though, Mouse only for a certain weapon imo. Yeah but laptop plugged into tv with keyboard not as convienient as with controller. Just needed laptop as well for work rather than desktop.
Sméagol Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 [trailer] This looks pretty damn cool. It does.0123456789
Happenstance Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 There seems to be some talk that because the Steam 10 year anniversary is coming up this week that we might be getting another sale. Hopefully its true.

Happenstance Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Oh god, I hope not. I'm poor enough as it is! Lol, I know what you mean. Im supposed to be putting money aside for the PS4 preorder but if a Steam sale comes around then by the end of it I will have 20+ new games.
nightwolf Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Indeed, I told myself no more games until I complete a few more that I already have -.-.
Happenstance Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 According to my Backloggery account I am having the best year I have had since it launched for beating games yet I still have 89 uncompleted games added this year alone.
Sheikah Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 You guys tried out Gone Home? Just played it yesterday, neat little story game that has been sweeping some good reviews.
Happenstance Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 You guys tried out Gone Home? Just played it yesterday, neat little story game that has been sweeping some good reviews. I really wanted to get it but for the length of the game and the price they were asking I couldnt bring myself to buy it. Im leaving it until its a bit cheaper.
nightwolf Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Not yet, again, another game on my list I need to play. Today I'm working my way through 'Little inferno'. But hopefully soon I can get Limbo, Saints row 3 and borderlands 2 finished.
Happenstance Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 (edited) Im saving a lot of my PC games that need completing at the moment for the Extra Life 24hr charity thing. I'll be trying to work through all the Fallout New Vegas DLC, Metro 2033, STALKER, Witcher 2 and XCOM. Obviously its doubtful I'll complete any of them though, especially as im the only one who will have direct gameplay feed on the live stream I always feel I should try and have a bit of variety in my games instead of just sticking with the same one for hours. EDIT: Actually there will be another direct feed from @flameboy on our second stream Edited September 8, 2013 by Happenstance
nightwolf Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 I'm very, very bad at not finishing games. So far I only have Bioshock and Plants vs zombies complete in my 50+ list on Steam. Hence needing to start finishing some..
