Kind of sorry I booted up my PC after work for this... What's the point of this embargo >_<

If it's more hype, yeah, it's working alright.

They do this all the time and for me it just kills any hype and turns into frustration.

Love the amount of trust placed in the people who have been to this event....Says enough when they even tether the stylus to the DS.

Curse those thieving journos :D

Full Reggie speech on IGN:http://wii.ign.com/articles/790/790916p1.html

He confirms Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros. Brawl and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass are all coming this year. In US at least...

I guess we have to wait till early 2008 for Smash Bros.

But definetly the best fall line-up from Nintendo ever:

US: Metroid Prime 3 + Mario Galaxy + Zelda DS + Smash Bros

EU: Super Paper Mario + Metroid Prime 3 + Mario Galaxy + Zelda DS

hmmm 1up is is down saying:

The 1UP Network is currently unavailable due to a scheduled upgrade.

This has nothing to do with the fact that we're playing the Halo 3 beta. Honest.

Could they all be busy doing a Nintendo update?! I am clutching at straws I know...and it is not going to be that at all...

Is it me, or is Reggie getting Connect24 (Big Brain Academy) and WiFi Connection (Pokémon, Mario Strikers) mixed up?

Different systems, different workings.

Yeah...he is...now I could understand if Nintendo were going to market the Wii wifi titles as using Connect24 rather than WiFi Connection, but the Mario Strikers advert has the WiFi Connection logo...hmmm...

I guess perhaps Strikers does use Connect24 to update the leaderboards perhaps? So it updates even when your not playing so next time you play it the tables come up straight away without having to connect and update.

But regardless of that your point remains all the same...and is indeed true.

Found this on my travels:

McMike is at Nintendo as we speak and plans to post the few non-embargoed things later on tonight, the rest hits Friday. So it’s going to be a busy rest of the week.
