Ashley Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 Im loving Brand New again, just what I need in my currently angsty state. Especially the song 'Jude Law and a Semester Abroad'
Noodleman Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 At The Drive-In are indeed awesome, one of my favourite bands. Been listening to a lot of PJ Harvey recently she is fantastic.
Platty Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 Yeah PJ Harvey is brilliant! I have been listening to the Editors new album a lot recently. Wasn't a big fan at first but im now really getting into it.
Dante Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 Yeah PJ Harvey is brilliant! I have been listening to the Editors new album a lot recently. Wasn't a big fan at first but im now really getting into it. Better than the first ablum Platty?
Platty Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 Better than the first ablum Platty? No I think the first album is still a lot better but it's defo worth a listen. I've seen the Editors twice and never thought I would go see them again but this new album is changing my mind.
Dante Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 I reckon new Editors album is better than first. I might download/buy it the new ablum then.
Slaggis Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 anyone know what that track from "skins" (e4) was? the one that went "woh bitch, get out the, get out the way bitch, get out the way"? I need it for the comedy value alone.
Slaggis Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 Ludacris - Move Bitch and the PERFECT track for playing in the car, during a traffic jam! lol, right, I'll have to try and find the track. Thanks alot.
Paj! Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 I'm loving garbage by Garbage. I can see why it's still their most succesful with critics.
Dante Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 I'm loving garbage by Garbage. I can see why it's still their most succesful with critics. The greatest hits album from Garbage is out Paj.
The Bard Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Ludacris - Move Bitch and the PERFECT track for playing in the car, during a traffic jam! No not even close. The best track to play in that condition is "Blame It On God" by "Deicide." You will get evil looks and a half.
EchoDesiato Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 PJ Harvey is indeed fantastic. I'm especially fond of a Desert Sessions song she contributed to: The badass bass rif and PJ Harvey's voice really make this song.
mariosmentor Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 I've been listening to Theory of a Deadman album Gasoline after finishing Fahrenheit. Quite enjoyable, now and again I like to listen to the basic cheesy grunge acts, don't know why they are just addictive for some reason.
DCK Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 Yeah, Santa Monica on that album is quite catchy. It's like pop grunge.
Dan_Dare Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 I've probably mentioned them before, but what are your thoughts on The Sleepy Jackson? Personally, I want to make passionate, sugar daddy love to their sound, but I don't think they're well known. Brilliant.
Platty Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 Thought I would post a few pics from Latitude! Notice the bearded Platt Camper! It got very cold at night. Jarvis CSS LOVEFOXX Kate Nash Crazy woman with hooks in her back swinging from the trees. The Sheep Dancing in the woods The bridge back to the campsite. I have loads more pics but can't be arsed to put them all up. I had such an awesome time and I'm defo gonna go back next year.
The fish Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 Every time I see a pic of Platty, he looks slightly more like his avatar every time... Looks like it was fun!
MunKy Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 KoRn's new album is out soon. It's been leaked on YouTube but I'm not gonna link to it. There is some awesome stuff on the album, its hard to describe. They've got their dirty raw sound back but still with the layered effects and also a keyboard player now. Terry Bozzio did most of the drumming on the album too which is great. Link to video for Evolution, the first single I think the video is great, song too though its completely different from the rest of the album. Don't bash just cuz its KoRn.
Ashley Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 I have that beanie you have on in the second pic Platty.
Paj! Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 I finally found America's Sweetheart (ironic..) by Courtney Love. I love her and Hole. She's making/has made a new album, which should be out soon.
