Paj! Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I know it's in the funny links thread, but I feel it deserves a place in here. I'm finding it more catchy than the original, by far. I actually love it. I Just Gave You Herpes. Based on the whole Chris Brown "attacking" Rihanna thing. Loved it. He's a crap singer who produces the most boring shit I've ever heard in my life in any case. She's a bit better than him.
Dyson Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Incredibad by The Lonely Island is out. Go get, it's brilliant.
Mr_Odwin Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Oh yeah definitely, I saw your point with the goat post, Nicola is ugly. xD In all seriousness, I see what you mean, different people look for different things in people, and thus have different opinions on attractiveness. --- On a musical front, I just remembered how awesome World Wide Suicide by Pearl Jam is. Any fans of Pearl Jam want to recommend others songs or albums? If you liked that you may like their mid-career stuff from albums like No Code and Yield. My personal favourite of their albums is Vitalogy.
Coolness Bears Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Nicola gets a tough break. I find her attractive! ReeeeZ, the video just leaked. The Saturdays - Just Can't Get Enough I had no idea it was Frankie singing at the start. I think that's the first proper part she's had on one of their songs. Finally! Woo! Cool song, I like the video. Mochelle. I'm on a boat! Yep! Just saw this on Perez, love it I'm starting to like The Saturdays, and there colour ways I love "Up" and "Issues", might consider the album....anyone recommend it? *looking at Haggis/Coolness* I do recommend it! I definately think you'd enjoy it! they are very colourful at school when the video for Up comes on it actually hurts my eyes a little! :p I don't know how long I've been waiting for this day. Just got Danger's latest remix. Empire Of The Sun - Walking On A Dream (Danger's Racing Club Mix) Thanks for the heads up! I just listened.
triforce_keeper Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I have been aware of Taylor Swift for a few months now, but never took the time to research her, only knew about her because of her album being number one for 8 weeks (correct me if I'm wrong?) I decided I would find out more about her tonight, and the reason I haven't really heard her music is because the chart topping album "Fearless" doesn't come out here until 9th of March, I like to try out albums before I decided to buy them, so I "borrowed" the album, and god it has some lovely songs on it. It's country-pop btw, she co-writes her songs, and plays guitar I'm growing to love her music, only on my first listen through, and have already I like every song. Try her out guys
Slaggis Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Kelly Clarkson - The Day We Fell Apart (Bonus Track on new album) So...this can't really be taken as showing us the quality of the new album, seeing as it's only a bonus track. But still, it's damn catchy. Audio -- Just realised this was the first CD single I ever bought (Along with "Work It Out" - Beyonce). I was 8, and impressionable. Don't judge me! :p AM to PM
Noodleman Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Incredibad by The Lonely Island is out. Go get, it's brilliant. I'm on a boat motherfucka \o/

Don't judge me! :p AM to PM I loved at the time. ---- This song is bit too good for the ordinary person, but I'm posting it anyway. Sometimes I feel like bowing to people like Nico, Lou Reed, etc.
Dyson Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 I'm on a boat is THE BEST going out music, ever. Never had anything pump me up like it did tonightm, daaaamn. TRY IT!
Dante Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Limp Bizkit have announced that all five original members are reuniting for a world tour in the spring. The band, led by charismatic frontman Fred Durst, said they were "disgusted and bored" with modern music. Original guitarist Wes Borland quit in 2001 and the band split in 2004 after enjoying worldwide success with songs like Rollin' and My Generation. Limp Bizkit were pioneers of "nu-metal", fusing hard rock music and hip-hop style drums and lyrics. The line-up of former tattoo artist Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, John Otto, and former House of Pain turntablist DJ Lethal formed in Florida in 1995 and released their debut album Three Dollar Bill, Yall$ in 1997. Their biggest album Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water was released in 2000 and gave them their only UK number one single Rollin'. Guitarist Wes Borland left the band a year later after his relationship with Durst became strained. In a joint statement, they said they were "more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other". It continued: "Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognise there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why Limp Bizkit is back." The band will kick off a world tour in the spring with shows planned for eastern Europe and German festivals Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park. A new album is also planned.
Slaggis Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 La Roux - In For The Kill I love this! -- Just started listening on Spotify (Thanks to Razz!), and I'm in love with Ladytron. Some truly sexual beats. *manplodes*

somme Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 lol Placebo are also playing the same festival as Limp Bizkit, I remember fights between those two bands. Having said that Placebo not only began their career before Limp Bizkit, they're still going and never split up.
ReZourceman Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Ahem. Whats the name of the song on the Ford Ka advert? I was just thinking in the cinema "This song is awesome. I want it" and some old fogey behind me said "Terrible music" I was like fuck off bitch. Also the ice lolly the asian kid has I am convinced its a dildo, anyone seen that advert? Its definitely a rubber penis. I'm not invisible. Touch me I will disappear. Finally the song from the Mazda advert I love too. GO baby go baby go
GothicPlague Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 lol Placebo are also playing the same festival as Limp Bizkit, I remember fights between those two bands. Having said that Placebo not only began their career before Limp Bizkit, they're still going and never split up. Plus Placebo are good. Seriously whats with crap bands reuniting. Fugazi now they are a band that needs to reunite.
Dan_Dare Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Limp Bizkit are reforming? Jesus. I thought we were safe!
Coolness Bears Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Lol,Limp Bizkit they just keep rollin' rollin' rollin'... :p I love this video! Twas the first thing I ever heard/saw of PJ Harvey, Thanks for bringing it back to my attention! Ooh La Roux Haggis I like her sound I think I prefer the other song Quicksand though! which is the only other song I've heard from her:
Roostophe Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 I don't understand how Limp Bizkit could have split in 2004 when they released an EP in 2005. I'm also going to say here that I never tire of their cover of "Faith". I also will say that I have all their albums, including the Remix album and the aforementioned EP, tho I've never once listened to it. As well as a couple of single releases, which is a rarity as I never buy them. I'm not ashamed to say all that. But it's not like I still listen to them... ...Nor do I give a flying monkey's what y'all think about me now.
Dan_Dare Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 I'm pretty sure I can, without hyperbole, call LB one of the worst bands ever formed. They're worse than National Socialism.
jayseven Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Jeez, why has nobody commented on how old Durst is looking! His beard is grey ffs!
chairdriver Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Sometimes I forget how brilliant Camille is. And then, I am reminded. This performance is astounding. The recording of that show is my favourite live album.
Roostophe Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Jeez, why has nobody commented on how old Durst is looking! His beard is grey ffs! That doesn't matter. When he goes back on stage he'll most likely don the red baseball cap, black top, cargo shorts and the basketball sneakers & socks and he'll look young again. Just like it's 9 Teen 90 Nine.
jayseven Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 If he does all that with his beard intact, I will buy his album.
Slaggis Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Reach Out (Anyone complaining that The Saturdays video was "too slutty" will implode whilst watching this) I hate myself for becoming addicted to this. What a bitch. Some of the worst lyrics I've ever heard. "It's like the prey playing games with the hunter". Burn in hell Duff. Hearing Lizzy McGuire telling someone to touch her is mildy horrific.
