A very nice, creative and fun looking game. Seems like a step up from Elebits from the tech demo side of things to a more full fledged and polished Wii title, has a lot of promise to me, regardless of how "Childish" I assume a lot of people will see it as.

Dewy's adventure does look nice. I wouldnt say it looks leagues ahead of current Wii software though, but certainly looks an improvement.

I'm not surprised that we've only seen one game. Let each game have its time in the limelight.

It's a way to give off the ideia that you're using a load more polygons than those actually onscreen.

Thanks for explaining to me! Normal mapping sounds so... how to put it? Easy to do :P

Anyway, I'm kinda disappointed if this game is all Konami is going to announce. The game itself looks promising. Kinda makes me think of Monkey Ball and Kororinpa but with more depth in it. Seeing this comes from the Elebits team, it should be great fun.

Hopefully Konami got more announcements coming, cos if this is all they got lined up for 2007, that's really a lack up support. Sure, expecting something major like Castlevania or MGS is kinda wishful thinking. I just hope there's more coming.

Talking about Castlevania, anyone seen the Dracula X Chronicles game yet? It's for PSP, which is a 3D remake of the PC-Engine game Rondo of Blood. The last true traditional 2D Castlevania game. It also includes the original sprite-based game along with an enhanced version of SotN o_O

The first trailer doesn't look too hot though, but damn, would I have loved this on Wii or DS. And didn't IGA said that his team didn't want a polygonal PSP game, since it wouldn't have the detail of sprites? Maybe some other team did this game?

Oh, sorry for being off-topic...

I really enjoyed the first Goemon game on the N64, thought it was really quirky and fun, I'd love to see a Wii version. This new game looks pretty interesting, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it.

Even if they do I'd say it's unlikely that it comes out of Japan, since Working Designs was the company doing the localizations and it's out of business.

In the PS2 Goemon (because Sony didn't aproove the name) and the DS version wasn't even localized. :(

What a shower of crap. No Castlevania, no contra, no MGS. cack, cack and more cack.
Then again we were expecting none of those.

I loved the new franchise they presented us, instead of a sequel, no doubt Wii also needs the sequels with userbase, but I'm happy with what was given now; remember there was also a few sports games and a RPG, Konami only showed us his fingers.
