Hero-of-Time Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Wow, and I take it your videogame collection is even bigger? Please tell me you have Seven Samurai amongst those hundreds of DVDs... Nah sorry. My Cube collection is 100 strong ( check out the thread in the Cube boards ) but my PS2 and 360 is always up and down as I tend to trade them in.

Hero-of-Time Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Hero is that Big Daddy on the top shelf? if so i like your style. Proabaly as I think I have every Adam Sandler flick, hes awesome. I even have a few of his CDs and they are well worth picking up as they are funny as hell.
Ashley Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 I can't see the point in having a huge DVD collection. Personally I rarely watch a film more than once. Yet TV I watch again and again, but then TV > movies.
Shorty Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 [big picture] Oooh, you also have Smallville seasons 1-5 imaginary rep for you.

Stocka Posted December 31, 2006 Author Posted December 31, 2006 I can't see the point in having a huge DVD collection. Personally I rarely watch a film more than once. Yet TV I watch again and again, but then TV > movies. I only get DVDs for my favourite films, and not so much to watch again (even though I probably will) but more for the sake of having it. I just like the feeling of owning the DVD of a film you love.
Guest Stefkov Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 My list ain great so I'll type it. Ninja Scroll Akira FMA all 51 episodes not not illegal Howls Moving Castle Princess Mononoke Blood the Last Vampire Hero House of Flying Daggers Kung Fu Hustle Shaoling Soccer FF:Advent Children Mighty Boosh series 1 & 2 Mighty Boosh Live DVD Pitch Black Shaving Ryans Privates....I mean Saving Private Ryan. Hitchikers guide to the galaxy Anchorman Team America Monty Python : Life of Bryan Monty Python : Holy Grail The Waterboy just for the sheer american football-ness Undecover brother Thats about it. There may be a few I'm forgetting but I doubt it. My brother has a bigger collection. I didnt red Stocka's post but hats the same as me. I love to buy DVDs of films I love. Hence the mixture of genres in my collection.

Ashley Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Im the complete opposite, I rarely watch TV as its usually turd yet I watch movies all the time hence the large collection. I think with both (TV and film) theres a lot of crap out there. As I look at it TV has a greater potential; you can tell these stories over hundreds of hours and really develop and grow characters. Films are just two hour gimpses.
Shorty Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 So many people have Akira... probably what I consider the most overrated anime of all time. It was a big deal at the time, night time animation, over budget, did a lot of revolutionary things, but now I just find it kind of dull and the art so dated.
Dan_Dare Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 strange boy. It's still one of the most beautiful films ever made if you ask me.
demonmike04 Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 So many people have Akira... probably what I consider the most overrated anime of all time. Meh, it is slightly overrated, but it is a good film. I mainly bought it due to reccomendation by a friend of mine as I started watching anime, first anime dvd I bought.
AshMat Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I feel like pictures make these threads good. Then a whole bunch of others, that i can't be arsed listing, and my pathetic Gamecube collection.
Adrian DX Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Then a whole bunch of others, that i can't be arsed listing, and my pathetic Gamecube collection.http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e122/retro-lover/DVDs.jpg Haha, your Wii and Gamecube collection are equally big (already!)
AshMat Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 That's what makes my Gamecube collection so pathetic.
