(To clarify, I really dont do drugs...Theyre not good enough to take the risks)

*Waits to get called an idiot, and that there are no risks, and that marajuana isnt a real drug and should be legalised etc...*

Funny, cause I'd call Alcohol a much more dangerous drug than Weed, and yet about 80% of this forum will have tried it at some point, and most even drink it regularly. Basically, you're calling most of the forum "fags."

Finally managed to order it without the website telling me my details were wrong.

White 'Innocent' Invisible Children bracelet, with DVD. (Inivisible Children is a campaign to help children affected by war in Uganda. Website: http://www.invisiblechildren.com) $26

Plan to get some more in the future.

Bought:

- 3 pieces of 250 gr. Steinbach paper of 55 x 73 cm (though I'll have to cut it to 50 x 70)

- a big cardboard map to put the paper in once my painting is on there

- two small gouache paint bottles

- three tubes of acrylic paint

- two small maps to put in drawings

Total of almost 39 euro.

Seems I spent over 200 euro since July in that store (I don't think that even counts the 50 euro gift cards I used) and so now I received a 19 euro reduction I can use next time. Wow. :indeed:

Thats the one thing that irked me about art-related courses, it came to a point where you were actually buying your qualification. I spent around £200 on my Photography final major, and Christ knows how much I spent in total over the two years.

Yeah it's really quite expensive... All the stuff they have you buy. Thing is that of course you'll probably still be using all those paints and whatever in the future (if you don't end up dropping out of school), but some things you buy and never use again apart from the one time in school.

And I didn't even have to pay for my own MacBook (thank you dad!), which is required in our course...

I think in total, I can easily spend about 500 euro every year on art stuff. Which is why I always ask for gift cards for my birthday and Christmas. ='3

See in photography a lot of it went on processing, which is a one time thing. Granted I've still got some paper but I don't have a dark room but yeah I see where you're coming from, with paints and stuff you could use those extra-curricularly.
