ReZourceman Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Does anyone (resourceman) know where to get halo actionclix on the street. They went straight out of stock on play.com and I was gonna buy some off ebay Not many places sell clix at all. Waterstones is a possibility, and HMV is a low possibility. Ive never seen them in commercial places other than those two. You need a specialist comic shop. Alternatively you can ring my local comic shop 01494 786965 they will send Halo Clix out, and I know they have them in stock.
ReZourceman Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Heh heh, other Halo Action Clix news, the gallery went up last night, and it crashed the Wizkids site. Lozzles. Aaaand. I purchased a pack of Halo Clix. Got Super Rare Elite Guard w/ Energy Sword. Woot. And Master Cheif w/ Spiker Rifle. Yum.
Girgo Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 No more Simpsons for me after this! I Scarface. Never seen The Godfather trilogy(), but I'm very tempted to buy it. May be my next purchase.
ReZourceman Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I saw Tenacious D movie this weekend. Mediocore at BEST. I laughed about 4 times.
Happenstance Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I saw Tenacious D movie this weekend. Mediocore at BEST. I laughed about 4 times. Were you a fan of Tenacious D beforehand? Had you listened to the first album?
harribo Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Tenacious D are good if you find swearing for no purpose ground breaking comedy.
Slaggis Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Tenacious D are good if you find swearing for no purpose ground breaking comedy. That can be funny, but not in the case of that movie.
Happenstance Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Tenacious D are good if you find swearing for no purpose ground breaking comedy. I dont think they are groundbreaking comedy by a longshot, I just enjoy the music.

Girgo Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 I dont think they are groundbreaking comedy by a longshot, I just enjoy the music. Yeah, same here. I've never liked them swearing (doesn't bother me though) I bought the movie because of the songs, they are awesome!
Supergrunch Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Rokhed, once you've finished buying all this shiny stuff, we need a picture of you wearing all of it at once. And that includes the strap on.
rokhed00 Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Rokhed, once you've finished buying all this shiny stuff, we need a picture of you wearing all of it at once. And that includes the strap on. None of it's for me, it's all for the missus. We're going to a party next month and I'm buying her an outfit for it, I'll be wearing this, but in pink.
Eenuh Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Bought myself three books for school (two for Art History and one for Psychology), which is probably only half of what we need for this semester, but I didn't have more money one me). Was a total of 50.20 euro, of which 40 was for the Psychology book. D: So much money for books you'll probably only use for your exams... Also bought a ton of art stuff: - two white oil pastel crayons - four graphite pencils (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B) - box of charcoal, 30 short sticks - big A3 sized sketching pad of 150 pages - normal sketchbook - sketchbook with those rings on the side so it's easy to hold open - two different packs of white drawing paper (20 pages each, 200g/m² and 224g/m²) Would've been a total of 48.77 euro, but thanks to gathering up points or whatever on my card for the store, I only had to pay 28.96 euro. Plus I got a free CD marker thanks to a coupon I got. X3
Supergrunch Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Today I bought I case that'll hold 72 CDs (for DVD backups), and: Good so far. I've been looking forward to this, I loved Going Postal. And I got a student cook book on 3 for 2, which I can't find a picture of but should be useful, even though I'll be in catered halls.
