It's a good feeling, a little odd though. So far it's been a case of going about the day as normal, and then occasionally thinking 'What should I do now? I should probably rev.....I CAN DO ANYTHING!!' And then remembering I'm skint so my options are in fact limited after all

I finished all my exams and I'm now finished uni, woo!
-
Bit indifferent to that play off final but it was nice to see Kevin Phillips get that goal. Just as a side note I notice Benfica lost the portuguese cup final after conceding twice in the last ten minutes from being 1-0 up. Feel properly sorry for them now
-
I found myself very pleased for Bayern and in particular Robben at the end of the match, I think he gets a bad rep for no reason a lot of the time. Shame for Dortmund, but it would have been a bit shocking for the team who beat Barcelona 7-0 to not go and win the thing.
-
I decided to put a number of different bets on in the end - spent a tenner in total but I'm telling myself it's ok as long as I don't make a habit of it... If Bayern win 3-1 I get £30 back If Dortmund win 3-1 I get £92 If Schmelzer gets the first goal I get £80 Bayern 1-0 with Schweinsteiger to get the goal is £75 If we have the dream finale (almost) everyone wants and Dortmund win 4-3, I get £302! And I get my tenner back if Dortmund win by any score. All of the bets are to happen inside 90 minutes, even more excited for the match now!

Yeah my thoughts exactly. Man I don't think I've ever been so excited for a football match where I'm a neutral supporter.
-
It was one of the games of the tournament for sure. I felt like the only neutral supporting Uruguay, looking back it seems heinous to have been so happy when Suarez did his last minute save
-
I sort of hope I'm wrong but I think Bayern will win and be relatively comfortable with it. 3-1 to Munich. So excited for this match that I think I'll put a few bets on. Fancy Schweinsteiger for MOTM, may put a cheeky quid on 4-3 Dortmund just for the dream final. Would only be the second time I've put a bet on a match - the last time was 2-1 to Uruguay against Ghana, wasn't too far off that!

What song(s) are you really into at the moment?!

Having a listen through now. First impressions = very nice! -
Lovely work @Ramar. The prospect of that post was pretty much the sole reason I wasn't particularly disappointed when Newcastle lost to Arsenal! I miss football already...getting season tickets for next year though! Can't wait. In the meantime I'm pretty excited for the CL Final and the play off. I really hope Dortmund win!

I wasn't expecting much but somehow it was still underwhelming. At least the controller looks a bit better...

Nice little moment there.

I actually agree with you on this, Liverpool have been excellent in the latter stage of the season..particularly with the 6-0 at Newcastle :'( I think the fight for the top 4 could be more fierce than ever next year (along with the title race). Been thinking in the past couple of weeks that Liverpool might make a good outside bet to finish in the top 4, sure the odds would be fairly favourable!
-
The tragic thing is I was actually on this every week carefully making decisions and I finished slap bang in the middle at 7th. Bit of a let down compared to last year's debut season - second by only 20 points or so. I think we should try a bit harder to make this feel genuinely competitive next season rather than the wholly arbitrary affair that it has been

Lovely tribute to Steve Harper at the 37th minute, playing his last game for the club. Unfortunately as a Newcastle fan, this was probably the highlight of the match... Not a dreadful last day of the season performance by any means, but hardly great either. Arsenal probably shaded it on the balance of play, Newcastle again not being able to sustain any good football into the second half. Quite pleased for them that they have CL football, although I do feel for Bale and AVB. Bale moving on in the summer then? Also there were some bloody mental scorelines going on today. 5-5 Man U?! 3-2 to Norwich at the Ethiad?! Suppose it makes up for the lack of drama in terms of where teams might finish

Here's what was happening the same year Man City was bought out...

I feel gutted for Benfica and their manager, more so since they lost to Chelsea of all clubs. I really enjoyed the Champions League win last year but I just get the impression that they really didn't care about this competition and as such, it's a shame that they've won it. Quite pleased for Rafa though.
-
Well that was fairly predictable in the end. Shame for my fantasy team that Walcott only got the one goal
-
I really hope the PS4 has a 2013 launch. As long as I have the money and there's at least one game worth playing, I should be getting it launch day - the first time I'll have done that for a console. By the way, does anyone know if GTA V is gonna come out on this? More excited for this than I have been for anything game related in a while.

If Wigan had won their game against Swansea, so many teams would be shitting themselves right now. As it is, Wigan look highly likely to get relegated. That said a win at the emirates and they drag Sunderland and especially Villa back into it. As it is, it's looking like the dullest last day of the season in years - the ultimate contrast to last year.
-
Newcastle won at QPR and are safe - @dazzybee @Charlie suck it bitches We were pretty mediocre again in truth but my goodness QPR were dreadful. Jose Bosingwa basically handed us safety on a plate and despite our keeper getting sent off, we held onto the win. Also quite glad to see Norwich are safe, what has happened to West Brom recently. Thank goodness, now let's hope next season is much improved. The crazy thing is that after all this, we could still finish in the top half..

I find myself quite pleased for Wigan, although I think I'll miss Mancini if he goes because of this (which he surely will). A satisfying anti-money story in football. As for the Villa match, not bothered about the result especially but YEAH FRANK LAMPARD! Did wonders for my fantasy team that did.
