This title race is fascinating. I'd be quite happy for any of the top 3 to win, nothing against City but it would be nice for someone different. After the weekend, as is often the case, the only thing a Newcastle fan can say with any positivity: At least we're not Villa I mean who loses 6-0 to Liverpool at home..

He won the treble with Barcelona, what more does a manager need to do to impress people? Take Scunthorpe to the CL? As for Man City, they're not that good at the moment are they? Hardly dominant in the way that Bayern are and they've been shite in Europe until this season. Also don't feel sorry for Pelligrini, sure he's been well informed every step of the way. Like dazzy I still think City will win, sort of by default. Going by expectations from the season's start... If Arsenal win it will be nice and a pleasant surprise. If Spurs win it will be nice and a huge, huge surprise. If Leciester win it will be the single biggest upset in the history of football ever, it's absolutely fucking mental we can even seriously discuss it. I'd love it...

Ah good we're shite again. Lovely, was just getting hopeful there! It really is going to the wire for relegation isn't it... The Alli goal was fucking lovely. Convinced it'll be showed with the best of bergkamp/shearer/le tissier in the usual highlights of best PL goals ever. I had predicted before the weekend Man City would win the league and Man U would just pip Leicester to 4th. Much less convinced of it now, especially the latter. This season would be so much easier to enjoy if Newcastle weren't so shite.

Yeah as a Newcastle fan I felt good about this until Swansea won, gits. As for City - I can't see them getting past Bayern or Barca. Can't see anyone defeating them really. Maaaaybe only having to deal with one of them in the final itself (Juve came quite close) but not over 2 legs.

Could have been out of sight early on in the second half but we missed some absolute sitters and our shaky defence cost us. Far too weak down the wings, Janmaat has forgotten how to defend and our left back position is tragically weak. Cant believe we sold Santon. 1-1 a fair enough result, either team could have sneaked it. Still 7/9 points. Just annoying how all the fellow relegation battlers managed to get great results. Also enjoying this managerial merry go round...Pep at City and Mou at Man U for the start of next season?

Interesting last round of the CL. Arsenal did it! I'm not gonna pretend I knew they would but it was never as unlikely as people made out after their Munich defeat. Well done gooners. Also nice to see Chelsea and City top the group (Juve really stuffed that one up) But what happened to Man U? The fuck? That was not a difficult group. They should be winning it by some margin, not dropping out. Always thought Van Gaal would prove himself to be the right man there but with the absence of goals, pedestrian play, weird squad choices and now this...as Flink says the tide may turn. Other highlights from the CL: Gent! What an underdog story that is. First time ever in CL straight to the R16. Also that Barcelona group, Roma qualify with 6 points. Surely every group winner will be hoping for them.

Well I'm quite looking forward to TP:HD, even if it didn't look great I've wanted to revisit this for a while. Was actually just looking up reviews earlier today, didn't even realise it was rumoured. Not much else that I enjoyed all that much - although I think Paper Jam Bros could genuinely be pretty stellar. That (D)rain platformer looked pretty cool I guess.... Cloud can do one, there's enough sword fighters as it is.

Been playing a lot of this again recently - it really is very good. There's such a polish to it all. Anyway I thought I would try out some DLC and my word it's pricey! The MK8 DLC was so cheap I feel as if they've tried to make up for it with this. Downloaded Mewtwo, Ryu and a few stages - only to realise I cannot use Mewtwo properly at all. Favourite characters = Charizard/ Robin/ Game&Watch.

Well, didn't see that result coming at all. Looking very likely now that there will be no english teams in the quarters, when on paper there should have been at least two.
