Good stuff: After being a social recluse during exam season (that xbox isn't gonna play itself) I have nights out again! Last night, tonight, tomorrow night, friday - all nights out! In other good news my attempt at quitting smoking has been quite successful for the past month - only 4 cigarettes consumed in the whole of January. I found a really cool drink shop that must sell about 15-20 different kinds of gin, as well as a sweet shop that sells vanilla coke, amongst other 'murica related candies. As well as this, apparently there's a good chance at least a couple of my friends are finally going to visit me at uni. Better late than never I guess. So nice to feel so good again after a good few weeks of exam-induced boredom/stress.

ALERT! Mother Teresa was in fact a horrible old swine. Do I feel guilty? Nah, not really. I mean I feel sad/angry sometimes that the world is the way it is, but to feel personal guilt just seems a little bit silly. I'd like to think I appreciate the little things in life more than most too, like just having the ability to shower and keep well fed. I suppose the closest thing I feel to guilt about this sort of thing would be feeling very spoilt on occasion.

I'd probs be in if I'm around - though all I seem to do these days is play Xbox so that should be fine

Gouffran, not Gourcoff I'd be pleased if we got Lloris.

So erm, can we post here about the day's developments? Wind Waker HD looks kind of cool. I guess. Sorta. thing.

Yeah that's what I thought when I saw that, although youth is highly valued right? Also, I guess Ferguson would enjoy having someone he can mould, so to speak. I think a lot of clubs these days don't see any value in buying English players because of their weird mark up. Liverpool don't seem to have caught on mind

It reminded me of Arsenal quite a lot actually. Looks like Pardew's changed his mind since then, probably to do with the fact there's some utterly ridiculous pricing going on when it comes to English players.

Watched the last twenty minutes of that game, intriguing stuff. Bradford held out well in the end, in the face of what was appeared to be an absolutely rockin' atmosphere at Villa. In other news, it appears Newcastle are signing some more players - and they're all from Ligue 1. Yanga Mbiwa has definitely been signed from Montpellier, announced for a fee of something like £7m. Great news, we needed a centre half. Apparently we've nearly signed Nancy left back, Massadio Haïdara, as well as Bordeaux forward Yoan Gouffran - something like £3m and £1.5m for each of those players. Apparently we might also sign Moussa Sissoko. After Dirty 'Arry swiping Remy from under our noses, I'm tempering my excitement until all of these are 100% official. It would be great if all of these came off and proved to be decent players for the club, but it also begs the question: Why didn't we do this in the summer?! Ah well. Feeling a bit more optimistic about things right now, especially considering we play Villa next First away win of the season would be great.

You have my favourite film! : peace: I don't have any blu rays. If only Halo was on the playstation

For a while I thought I was pretty good with money and then realised I was actually just quite good at finding a bargain, as it were. Since University began my dad has helped bail me out more times than I care to mention, from rip off letting agencies and the like. I've also only had a job one of my three years here, which obviously doesn't help things. I feel like once I get a proper job I'll get better, I've learned how to live on a budget fairly well during my time at uni so it's not all negative.

Hehe, always nice to see Man U concede a last minute equaliser

Lost 2-1 at home to Reading, Pardew went completely mad with the substitutions in the second half. Fuck. First time I've seriously considered the notion we might go down....worst result in years.

Grainger Games is a fine retail institution that has clearly never done anything to disgrace itself or the industry.
-
Yeah true that, I have seen them in many places. Burton was another, I think.

Am I the only one who thinks that HMV rejecting gift vouchers is just fine given the circumstances?

I would have got the Tetris one but they ran out. Here you go. You can enter a code for discount on home stuff so it costs £4 rather than 5.

It's ok if he's paired with Scholes though......

With only one exam left and that being a week away, I treat myself to a few things whilst I was out in town... This pair of shoes from All Saints - £45 down from £Remortgage. Telly picture frame from Urban Outfitters for £5, where I was then told I could have this Pac Man mug... ..for free! Not heard nor heard of either of them, but the vinyls were only £5 each and I just thought what the hell. This also arrived from Amazon today, a replacement for my iPod nano. Android is still my least favourite of the mobile operating systems but for £175 less than a new iPod touch, I'll deal with it. Cost me £75 from Amazon, should be able to sell my old nano for £40 at Cex apparently. I'm due a phone upgrade in May so if I get a phone that can service as my primary music player, I'll sell this on - would only have to get £35 for it to break even then!

I have one gaming t shirt - a Donkey Kong one from NOM back in the day I got when I must have been about 12. Honestly if the fit was alright, I might still wear it as that sort of retro game is a bit in fashion right now. Example: The Pac Man mug I just got from Urban Outfitters. Generally speaking I think they tend to look lame. However, I love band t shirts. But as we all know Music is cool and games are not

Fuck you QPR. We need a striker.....

This would be funny enough on its own, but for me his performance has multiplied in comedy value due to my friend putting him in his fantasy team just for this week. Also, Newcastle - Dreadful game, but a clean sheet and a point away from home is not to be sniffed at in our current situation.

They beat Newcastle. This really isn't an upset at this point
