Careful guys. Don't register your Club Nintendo pins before 10AM GMT or else you wont get your free game! A lot of morons of GAF didn't read the small print...
-
Well clearly they are, because they've just manufactured some new ones for the Smash Invitational The real question here is... will the manufacture new Wavebirds? (and new DK Bongos while they're at it...)
-
That's a great use of the bottom screen! Frees up a lot of valuable screen real-estate (which on the 3DS' small screen is at a premium) and it makes use of the individual & private nature of the 3DS version's multiplayer to make it easier to keep track of each player. Well done Sakurai

@Hogge, @Debug Mode, @Retro_Link... ... I think that you may be getting your wish this E3

This has just been the most utterly fucking ridiculous day... First we get Mario driving a Mercedez Benz, then we get the GCN Wii U Controller adapter and then sudden Pikmin 3 update with Stylus control support out of ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE!!! WHAT!? IS!? GOING!? ON!?!?!

Official Gamecube to Wii U Controller Adapter announced!
Dcubed replied to Dcubed's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I suppose that it would probably depend on the hub... Or you could just plug the HDD into the Wii U directly and run the other stuff through the hub. As for input lag, I wouldn't imagine it making a difference. USB has more than enough bandwidth to handle controller inputs. -

Wavebird!? Pfft! REAL players only use this wired controller... (Speaking of which... that's all of the special GCN controllers and accessories sorted for GCN VC too. Re-releasing DKJB? No problem! Four Swords Adventures? Sure! Hope you still have those GBAs lying around! -

Well well well, what do we have here... http://mynintendonews.com/2014/05/29/it-looks-as-though-namco-bandai-helped-out-on-mario-kart-8/ A rather familiar name appears in MK8's credits... Seems like Nintendo really will be keeping their code monkeys on speed dial for all of their EAD Wii U games from this point onwards (As I had suspected before... :awesome:)

Is this some sort of Morthogenetic Field crap going on up in here? I was literally thinking the EXACT same thing! So does this mean that the game will become Mii Kart again instead of Mii Bike this time? (Unless they play fairsies and give us a Suzuki Bike as future DLC of course )

Pretty sure that "midnight" translates to 23:00 for us here in the UK when it comes to midnight eShop releases...

2008 was damn dreadful, but it at least brought us some unforgettably terrible (read: hilarious!) moments It also brought some pretty damn good games to the table too (even if the presentation was lousy - and in some cases, bafflingly absent until AFTER the presentation - I'm looking at YOU Rhythm Heaven!) I still say 2008>>>2007 myself. 2008 might be the legendary one, but 2007 was forgotten for a damn good reason... At the end of the day, 2008 brought us this... While 2007 brought us...

Looking at the screenshots, it still looks fake. I literally did a double take at it!

The director (Kaz Ayabe) isn't related to anyone from Ghibli AFAIK, but he and his team at Millenium Kitchen have worked on a similar series of games called My Summer Vacation for over a decade now. This one is a bit different though as it is based on an old fairy tale about monsters coming out on a friday and is designed to be nostalgic about Godzilla style movies. And yes, it does give me massive Ghibli vibes as well

On the other hand, that does actually make it kinda funny in of itself here though It does look totally ridiculous
-
Well that's... random as hell... Not sure what to think TBH. On one hand, it's free and a pretty funny cross promotion, but on the other it does ruin the purity of the game by bringing real life stuff into it... I suppose it's no worse than the Callway stuff in Mario Golf WT really, but it feels weirder here because it's such a well known brand. I guess this is the start of Nintendo's "unexpected" IP licencing...

Obviously you just need to find a travel adapter for him in the game. Sorted

Lol, nice one In all seriousness though... IS are typically a 3-4 team studio, so I would imagine that they're currently working on either two unannounced smaller scale games (3DS retail or Wii U download) or one big scale title for Wii U. Given their ongoing hints about Advance Wars (and their general affiliation for handhelds over consoles for the most part), I'd say that we're probably looking at AW3DS and another Wii U download, 3DS download title or smaller scale 3DS retail game - as well as SMT X Fire Emblem of course (given that this is co-developed by Atlus, it won't be taking up as much of IS' staff as it would do if IS we're making it on their own). This is what IS have pumped out in the last couple of years... 2012: Fire Emblem Awakening (Japanese release date) Fallblox Paper Mario Sticker Star (co-developed by Vanpool) FEA DLC 2013: Game & Wario (co-developed by Nintendo SPD) Jam with the Band Professional (Japanese release) 2014: Pullblox World Fire Emblem meets SMT (co-developed by Atlus) ? I reckon there's a chance that we might see another game from them this year

Ugh... The lack of S3D is going to be the death of me in this game. I'm looking at this screenshot and I can tell how much the lack of depth perception is going to annoy me already... The game will be worth it for the online Miiverse puzzle sharing alone though

We've known that since the NNIDs first launched on Wii U, that's not new news. What people are complaining about when they claim "no account system" is that they want to be able to re-download their games across multiple devices without having do a System Transfer with both consoles present (they also want to be able to share their games across multiple devices and have both copies playable at the same time, like you can on iPhone/iPad or on Sony's consoles/handhelds) Also Wii U still lacks a System Transfer function...
