Err... They literally only just announced a completely original 1st party IP for 3DS (Project S.T.E.A.M) and have a bevy of games already announced for next year... Might I also point out that Sakamoto's team has recently wrapped up work on Tomodachi Life (the international version was a big job, with lots of extra content over the JPN version) and so will have just started their next project not long ago... Not hard to believe that it could very easily be a 3DS Metroid game

BTW: Just wanted to mention that the version of Pacman Arrangement on the GBA Pacman Collection is based on the original Pacman Arrangement and not the crappy modern one This and the GCN/PS2/Xbox collection are the only home versions of the original Pacman Arrangement ever released. If you've played "Pacman Arrangement" in any other collection, that is a completely different game with the same name as the one included in this GBA collection.

For those complaining about the lack of new 3DS games coming this year, you do realise that we've had around 1.5 years of constant major releases every single month right? You do also realise that from September onwards, we're back to having a constant schedule of retail releases again right? (Theathrhythm Curtain Call, Smash Bros 3DS, Fantasy Life, Pokemon OR/AS all within a span of 2 months). And even then, there's still a chance that some late EU releases like SMT4 and Devlish Brain Training could come out during the next two months which are dry in terms of the release schedule, as well as more potential surprise eShop releases and game localisations for late this year... I think you're overreacting a bit here :p

Knowing Nintendo that's probably not everything they have lined up for this year... Besides, they're just coming off a hell of a fantastic run of software. It's not like the last 6 months of this year haven't been jampacked with releases

Woo! Now I can finally give this series a try! (Still, the original Fossil Fighters would make for a nice DS VC launch title NOE...) Thankfully it's the So-Bad-It's-Good variety of earlobe rugburn though!

Can't get excited until it gets confirmed for Europe this time (we never got the original DS game). Speaking of which, that reminds me. I still need to get the DS game... (a Wii U VC release would be nice NOE )

Codename: S.T.E.A.M. - Strike Team Eliminating the Alien Menace
Dcubed replied to Serebii's topic in Nintendo Gaming
So it's basically Intelligent Systems' take on Valkyria Chronicles, with the level of stupid turned up to 11? I am A OK with this! -
Yep, for sure! I actually think it's much more impressive than the Wii U version for tne system it's on! Best looking 3DS game? Best looking 3DS game

I love how you can do celebrations after knocking down your opponent in Project GR. Reminds me of how you could do those celebrations in Wii Sports Boxing when you score a KO

That's the US date. The EU version is coming later...

FUCK ME SHOVEL KNIGHT IS AMAZING!!!!! Actually, everything in this Treehouse Live stream is awesome! I want everything!

2AM GMT for us.

Affordable Space Adventures looks AWESOME!!! I want it NOW! Really like how they've got different developers playing each other's games here
-
Maybe. But the E3 demo version could easily just have the DLC already "bought" for demo purposes...
-
Looks like it's the Link version... but is multiplayer included from the get-go or is it DLC...
-
Yeah I noticed that, that's total BS if the online mode isn't included from the get-go. Not cool Nintendo

Minisite is up for Bayo 1 Wii U http://bayonetta2.nintendo.com/bayonetta.html Interesting that they added JPN voices to the original game, considering that the original Japanese version only had English voices to begin with! The addition of Stylus controls will be a nice new way of playing the game too. Great for us re-visiting the game on Wii U

Of course Shulk being in means that Reyn will be an assist trophy...
-
Supposedly they worked on NSMB2 last, so they're not new to Nintendo.
-
Yeah, she's obviously not a recent addition... ... more and more it's looking like the Gematsu leak is turning out to be real. They've been spot on with predicting every single newcomer (with the only missing one being Rosalina) so far... ... So it seems that Shulk, Chrom and the Chorus Kids are next

Here's something weird I noticed... In the press pack they released last night for Pallutena, there are clearly multiple models being used... The top model is waaayyyy more detailed than the first one. It's really obvious that the top screenshot is a much later build than the lower one... I wonder if that's a sign that the Wii U version isn't near being done yet if the newer builds aren't stable enough to be the only ones used in these press screenshots...

Yeah, supposedly it's a MonHun style game where you choose a job and work together to hunt monsters (who are past Final Fantasy summons like Bahamut) in order to gather crystals (or plot souvenirs or whatever :p ) Sounds like it could actually be really good

Everytime I look at this I can't help but think to myself "REALLY!? This is being made by EAD!?" It's just soooooo un-Nintendo like in style! The art style is very western (closest example is K.N.D or DeBlob), the genre is more or less completely new to Nintendo, the gameplay set is very modern (they even have killcams, re-spawning, the works!), it's online focused, the music is nothing like anything they've ever done before... It does look completely brilliant though! Such utterly genius ideas! Great use of the Gamepad too! Looks like a real winner!

They all look really interesting, but I'm very disappointed in how early they all were. None of them are remotely ready for release and I was expecting to be able to see them getting released relatively soon... Starfox is sooooo going to be a 2016 release. No way will that get released next year if they're still only working with prototype art assets taken from cancelled Wii prototypes... Was really cool to hear that Project Guard was based off a cancelled N64 game though Let's just hope it actually gets released this time and doesn't get the Rollorama/Stage Debut/Earthbound 64 treatment...

Actually from what I've seen on there, most people seem to be really happy with the new format. Much moreso than last year (or 2012 and 2011 for that matter!) Very few people moaning about the lack of a live conference really
