Crap! That really sucks... Bloody Let's Go!! Fuck you! Caves are pointless now! They're supposed to be a gauntlet that you survive! Unless the Pokemon all chase after you when they find you (like in some other RPGs), then caves are no longer gauntlets and healing item management is totally pointless! People have no idea why they ask for these gameplay changes. Nobody even realises what the consequences are; hell nobody even realises what open world design even means, why it's actually easier to make than handcrafted design and why it absolutely sucks for a game like Pokemon. Nope; it's popular, therefore it must be in every game. Oh! Speaking of Pokemon animation... ... this is an excellent video on the topic (made by an animator that works on AAA titles in the gaming industry) that should give you a newfound appreciation for what Game Freak have done with the sprites/models and animations throughout the series history!

That is exactly what you’re getting with the Wild Area.

Yeah, Wild Area is literally the Pokemon of The Wild that people were asking for. It looks like they’re using it as a Hyrule Field/The Great Sea style hub area though; so I’m cool with it. We’re not getting it instead of handcrafted level/world design; but rather it looks more like The Wind Waker in terms of game design, so I’m fine with this @Glen-i; it’ll likely be a more interesting mechanic than Z-Moves though, since it’ll likely amount to much more than a nuke button. Also interesting in that it could be used alongside Mega Evos (and it looks like it changes all of your moves to hit multiple Pokemon). Speaking of which... The number of Pokemon onscreen for the battles gives me much hope for the return of Triple and Rotation Battles!

Little pro tip; the Japanese version of Adventures of LoLo actually has an entirely different selection of stages (the NES one was a remake of one of the MSX versions of Eggerland IIRC, while the Famicom version’s stages were entirely new); so the Japanese version is a completely different game from its western counterpart! If you don’t already have the Famicom Online app installed, go and get it and play the Japanese version of LoLo! It’s completely free for NSO subscribers, regardless of region!

Asian MD Mini list has been updated! Here’s the last 12 games... Despite the lack of Dynamite Headdy, the Asian version wins yet again! Shining Force 2 is an awesome get!

No Sonic 3. No Rocket Knight Adventures. This is bogus! (Alisha Dragoon and Light Cruisader are good gets though; and I'm really glad to see Monster World 4 finally get a physical release in the west!) Honestly shocked that they're including Eternal Champions though! Surely that would rocket up the age rating? There were quite a few people asking for it, but I never expected them to actually go for it! It makes Mortal Kombat 1-3 look tame! VF2, Kid Chameleon and Columns are just wasted slots though. Nobody wanted those. Asian version is the only one to get Alien Soldier confirmed. Guess that's the one I'm getting then!

Yeah, I've noticed this as well. NES/SNES has really come down in the last few years, while N64 is coming back down now as well. PS1 is generally not worth much, while MD is much lower now too. GCN is the new N64 though; those prices have really skyrocketed in the last couple of years! Likewise, I've never been one to collect for collection's sake. I only buy and keep the games I actually want to play.

So the people who run the company that makes GTA are a bunch of sociopathic nutjobs who blow their riches on hookers, strip clubs and parties? Why is anyone surprised? Also nice to know that I was right in saying that the Housers don't give a shit about gameplay as well; and that they just want to make movies. I've been saying this for well over a decade! Regardless of who you bat for, Devolver’s conference will be a must-watch regardless. They won the last two E3s, hands, fucking, down! Riotously funny from start to finish!

Nice to see that the Switch version turned out very well! Shame about the XboneS version though. After the last batch of terrible Switch ports, it's refreshing to actually see a 3rd party developer give a toss about the Switch version of their game!
