  1. Star Fox Zero (I will die on this hill!) Nintendo Land Shovel Knight Super Mario Maker Bayonetta 2
  2. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2019/08/unauthorised_translations_of_the_satoru_iwata_book_will_be_subject_to_criminal_charges Looks like the Satoru Iwata book is getting localised! Woo!
  3. Wow! Fire Emblem Three Houses just megabombed in Japan at retail! 01./00. [NSW] Fire Emblem: Three Houses # <SLG> (Nintendo) {2019.07.26} (¥6.980) - 143.130 / NEW Unless this happened because of the NSO vouchers (where there's a huge saving of 6k-ish yen to be made on the digital version), and the game sold another 70-90k digitally; this is a disastrous result for FETH!
  4. I... Oh for fuck's sake Dcubed...
  5. Said so in that Hero video. Right at the end it mentioned that Banjo & Kazooie land in August 2019.
  6. Oh man... competitive Smash players are NOT gonna like Hero... (Good thing Banjo & Kazooie are coming out next month!) Hero looks fun, but there’s gonna be a LOT of anger about how RNG heavy he is...
  7. Shocked that it took this long to add VR support. Shame that it’s only 4 levels though.
  8. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2019/07/sega_mega_drive_minis_european_release_has_been_delayed Europe has to wait 2 extra weeks... Poo.
  9. Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I did consider having semi-solids; but it ended up trivialising the level really. Figured that it just wouldn’t be Ice Climbers without wonky physics and a healthy bit of frustration to make it fun! (Especially in multiplayer! It’s beautiful chaos! ) Hardest part was trying to avoid soft-locks. Problem with having a level that relies on breakable bricks is... well... being able to break them all! Or not at all! That’s why I added the hidden vines; they’re all placed in such a way as to always allow at least one path up (try using them if you find it too hard normally )
  10. Just came to post this! Certainly explains a hell of a lot about this game and why there’s so little actual strategy RPG gameplay here. It does actually resemble ROTTK quite a lot! IS giving up their flagship title to T-K almost completely is a real shocker! This isn’t some throwaway spinoff! I want to think that this means that IS is currently working on something utterly massive for Switch (considering that they just gave away their most important console game to someone else; it could well be the grand return of Advance Wars!), but I have this sinking feeling that this happened because they’re giving up on console development and they’re just pouring their entire staff into Fire Emblem Heroes... it’s just such a massive cash cow for them that I can totally see them doing that...
  11. Glad you liked it! I do like making puzzle levels, but I think I wanna do something a bit more traditional and action focused for my next one... (I’ve yet to make a SM3DW course after all!). I’ve been busy making gimmick levels for a while now, and I kinda miss making traditional styled levels... Mind you though, I’m wondering if it might be worth remaking a couple of the puzzle courses I made in SMM1? (Sadly, the Evil Checkpoint course and the Mandatory Death course will be impossible to remake in SMM2, due to the changes they made to how checkpoints work in SMM2 ). I can remake my other ones though! What do you reckon? Worth doing? Did you try out my two other new courses @RedShell? (Get Rich Quick and Ice Climbers) What do you think of them?
  12. Even more hilarity to add to this comedy of errors... https://www.resetera.com/threads/the-original-doom-doom-ii-and-doom-3-have-all-surprise-launched-on-nintendo-switch-ps4-and-xbox-one.131293/page-31#post-23114241 Looking forward to the inevitable Jimquisition on this
  13. And here's another! (I'M ON FIRE!! ) I couldn't help myself... it's a puzzle level!! My first puzzle level of SMM2!
  14. AKA, we're sorry we got caught
  15. They’ve done this in order to put an expiration date on these games. Once they shut down those login servers; those games will be literally useless.
  16. I saw that subtle Capcpom shout out there @Glen-i...
  17. Hyrule Warriors is counted as a Wii U game, not a 3DS one. Sorry, but you've gotta swap it for something else.
  18. And here's another! Just in time to get you out of this awful heat! My first multiplayer focused level; inspired by mine and Glen-i's earlier shenanigans (Oh the shame! The SHAME of getting scroll killed by your "friend" ) Oh, and yes! We LOVED your Mario Bros VS level @Sméagol! It was a riot!
  19. We've got a LOT more where that came from... (I was Mario, Glen-i was Luigi) Mario Maker single-screen co-op was a mistake...
  20. NEW LEVEL!!! Originally was meant to be a homage to NSMB2, it ended up morphing into a speedrun level of sorts after feedback & testing. I think it's fun, @Glen-i and testers say it's fun. Will you? We dug it Just about to play a bunch of N-E levels with @Glen-i; wish us luck! (and expect feedback soon!)
  21. These jokers literally advertise GTA5 in trailers for BBFC 12A movies (yes, I have seen this in cinemas) and they're getting away with it. They know that children are the primary audience for GTA games! PEGI are complete failures! The gambling commission are complete failures! And Rockstar are literally just laughing in their faces while doing this!
  22. https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-49084726 COME THE FUCK ON!!! This is absurd!! This makes the UK Gambling Commission's stance on in-game gambling even more comical! Game publishers are literally laughing at them now!
  23. I never really realised it until watching this video, but Soul Calibur DC and TTT PS2 are basically sister games to each other. TTT PS2 is exactly the same thing to the PS2 as what SC DC was to the DC.
  24. Yes, they are entierly seperate games outside of the first six chapters (where you make a choice about which path to follow). They have entierly seperate maps, different gameplay mechanics and different stories (though they do reference one another and present two opposing sides of a conflict). Basically the same deal as with Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. Birthright's gameplay is more akin to Fire Emblem Awakening, while Conquest's gameplay is more difficult and is more akin to traditional pre-Awakening Fire Emblem games (with varied objectives, no grinding, no world map etc). Revelations is the 3rd game that is meant to be played after beating Conquest and Birthright, but it combines elements of both (it's the neutral path in the story). It is only available as a download (unless you were lucky enough to get the Special Edition release, which includes all three games on one cart; with a pricetag to match - it retailed for £79.99 - making it the single most expensive 3DS title ever released); but it acts as a sequel of sorts that presents a balanced perspective on the overarching conflict that grounds the story.
