Mine was going weird for days with it signing in then the dashboard not loadning properly then it suddenly saying sign into Xbox Live. Seems to be working again now though.

Finished Portal earlier. Really enjoyed that game, and the end of it was really good. Excellent writing throughout. Not sure if I'll end up playing through it anymore times, probably got too many games to play to go through finished ones.

I'm near the end of this now and I keep dying (I'm mostly rubbish) and it's getting quite annoying. I'm not starting Half Life 2 until this is done with. Decided I need to start finishing games before I go out and get the next release.

Weird how many people are going and buying Playstations now. I'm glad I got mine now with Blu Ray almost certainly becoming the standard, and Uncharted being brilliant. I can't bring myself to start Ratchet and Clank with the number of games I'm in the middle of right now. I really want to as well, looks so good. Wanted to finish CoD4 first.

Brilliant, I liked playing the old Sam & Max although I was only young when it was out so never really played it properly. Looking forward to this, and yeah I also hope the original gets a VC release.

I assume Microsoft will fix/replace it with the improved hardware anyway so why spend the extra cash?

Plus they are a Playstation developer so it's likely (especially considering how good Ratchet looks) they've already got the hang of developing for PS3.

Sounds good. I think if I ever get through my mountain of games and need something to play on PS3 I might pick up resistance. Always thought it looked quite good.

Why the hell do you keep going on about 360 and it's graphics? In every thread you make, you go on about 360, and comparing the graphics to Wii. Why? They are miles apart. And what do you mean 'It would be over for 360'? Of course it wouldn't. People buy 360's because of the quality of games on 360. People don't buy a console based on how bad another is. They buy it because of how good the one they want is. This thread is kind of pointless isn't it? Not really a discussion. *Stuwii* "Red Steel's graphics are crap" *Everyone else* "Er..Yeah"

I don't think it would really as the damage has been done with the studios picking Blu Ray. At the end of the day PS3 and the studios have decided this war. Just got to wait for Universal to move to Blu Ray now and Paramount to really regret their decision...

Just phone up and say you're getting the red lights. I listened to 1UP Yours just after Microsoft did the whole warranty thing and they basically said that Peter Moore more or less said to just say that you're getting the red lights of it stops working as they wont really know. Unless it's still in the first year of warranty, then you can just get it fixed anyway.

I was bothered about PS2 games not working but then I just thought, I've got a PS2 which I got in that Asda half price sale they had, so the combined price of PS2+PS3= £320 which is over £100 cheaper than the price it was at. So if they had to do that to give me a cheaper console they thats fine by me.
