The only reason I've visited Gamespot since I heard about this was to find out more about it, read a couple of ex-staff blogs who posted about it, and to see if they actually annouced it on the front page or anything. I deleted The Hotspot from my iTunes podcasts and On the Spot wont be watched again, except possibly the next one as I'd be interested in the 'feel' of the show after this has happened.

Got stuck in Call of Duty earlier so played some more of this. Enjoying it so far, even though the gameplay seems a bit simple, I like what they've tried to do with it.

Riiight, his attitude towards the Wii. He said he was looking forward to seeing more crazy stuff from Nintendo on the Wii. How is that against the Wii?

Can you actually give evidence for this? Other than that Zelda review?

Did you finally get round to finishing Twilight Princess then?

I do think there was maybe some of that in it. I mean you don't know that, he could after all have not thought it deserved to get a 'star game' award or whatever. Thats why the old way they reviewed games wasn't all that great, but then a score doesn't mean all that much to me. I agreed with what he said in the review.

Agree there, and along with a few others I agree with his Zelda review as well. I didn't at the time, and I thought it was shit, but wen u play it, finish it, and really think about it I'd say he hit the nail on the head. I don't get why people would say he was a knob.

I totally agree with this. Wondered why he wasn't on The Hotspot this week. I actually quite like Jeff, and his enthusiasm for games, and fuck it, I wont be visiting the site again. I hope he joins another website, or podcast.

About an hour or so into it now, playing on normal, was getting killed in one bit, and usual I would got pissed off and switched it off, but just wanted to get through it. Absolutely loving this game. FAR FAR better than Call of Duty 2.

I have a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2i SXi 3 door. It's a 53 plate, it's the last model before the latest Corsa.

Just started it, liking it so far, hopefully get into a lot more at the weekend.

Considering I passed just a couple of weeks ago, my driving is quite good. I probably rev my engine a bit too high due to having a 1.2 Corsa, and I get really annoyed at people who drive slow. I don't speed too much, in built up areas I don't at all. There is the odd road where the speed limit is just daft, like the road where I work. It's just a big long road with not much on it and it's 30mph. No one drives at 30 cus it just doesn't make sense. I try not to speed too much though, cus you just don't know when an unmarked police car is gonna be round the next corner.

I wanted to play some online Gears, then I remembered how much I sucked.

Yeah the end sucks ass. The rest of it is pure awesome though.

Geometry Wars is obvious, but I love Worms. I also got all the download stuff for it, mainly because the same 3 back drops got really boring.

Holy fucking shit. Just got this game and it's FUCKING AWESOME. Just played through the first couple of levels expecting it to be good but not something I'd be that into, but it's sooo fucking good. Seriously amazed.

I tried the alarm being far away from my bed trick, and I found that I'd switch the alarm off and just sleep on the floor. To this day I push myself to the brink of lateness each and every work day. I've also tried going to bed early, yet every day I'm absolutely knackered.

Viewtiful Joe (probably wont play through fully, but you never know) Resident Evil (can't be bothered) Beyond Good & Evil (I want to, bought it from Play for £10 not long ago and never got round to it) Resident Evil 4 (Got stuck, sold it, bought it again, and hardly played since) Got a load more other games as well. I do like to finish games, but if they annoy me then I just don't bother.

Yep, true. Something Spurs need to improve on is keep pushing at teams no matter what the score line is. Martin Jol, although a very good manager, and a top bloke, was unlikely to take Spurs into the top 4. His teams never looked to have the mental strength to go up against teams like Arsenal and Man Utd. Hopefully Ramos can instill this in the side. I like the fact so far that he's not scared to take off a player early if he's having a shocker, like he has done with Kaboul a couple of times already. Jol was always hesitant in making changes, and sometimes seemed to make changes for the sake of it. I will say though that we need a proper leader in the midfield to play alongside Jenas. I like Zokora but I'm not convinced he's a top quality player.

I agree, not to mention Super Paper Mario. I'd say we've had quite a decent first year. It's pretty much the same old story, with Nintendo games being quality, and there being about 3 really good 3rd party games. This is the same thing I experienced with the Gamecube, it's just eventually the Gamecube didn't have any games being released and it became boring. Thats why I'm more concerned about the next 2 years rather than whats available now. It's also why I'm glad I've got an Xbox 360, and I'd recommend getting one or a PS3 to anyone with a Wii.

Don't bring me down people, now I've finished Mario I've just ordered this :p I'm not expecting the best game ever so hopefully that'll help towards my enjoyment of the game.

Just finished the final boss. 61 stars now. Got too many other games to play at the moment, so wont be going back to it for a while, but I will try for 120 stars eventually. One of the best games I've ever played.

Sweet jesus. On the final boss now. Kept dying and threw my Wii remote across the room. Frustrating in a way that only Mario games are. It looks so childish that it's almost as if it's laughing at you for failing. Switched it off, I'll try again tomorrow when I'm not so tired and about to set fire to someone...
