This Warner announcement has made me extremely happy to have bought a PS3 now. I was reading more and more about HD DVD going down the pan and though now was the time to stop buying those titles that are on both Blu Ray and HD DVD for my HD DVD 360 drive. I have 10 HD DVD films so it'll be annoying if eventually I have nothing to play them on. Hopefully the 360 will be around for a few years yet. Now I own both I'm just glad that one is being chosen. I just wish they'd give up on HD DVD altogether now so we can all just get on with buying Blu Ray.

4.8GB? What happens when I start to run out of space? Do I have to spend ages installing my games every time I want to play them?

But it looks crap in the rest of your collection. I don't think you understand how us nerds think. People complain about Wii Sports coming in a cardboard slip rather than a proper case because it doesn't fit in with everything else. I don't want all films on hard disks anyway. I like music doing it because the iPod made it all easy to carry it around with you. I wont be doing that with my films. I like having a DVD/HD/Blu Ray collection. I can carry them around, take them to peoples houses etc. I'm against that and games becoming download media as well. Although I like those small games for XBLA and PSN as downloadable but they're not really the same thing.

My cousin got this for christmas on PS3 and so I decided to play a little more of it. I've kinda got into it a bit more now. I still find some of the missions dull, and the beggars are frigging annoying, and horse riding is fun for 5 minutes then it's just irritating. But assassinating someone and then legging it is really brilliant, and exciting. I'm definitely enjoying it a lot more now.

It's from 2003. The suspension is fairly hard so going over speed bumps can be a bit annoying. I'm not sure if thats just the SXi/SRi models though as I think they have sports suspension. The interior looks nicer on those models though, and I think they have more comfortable seats. This is the current state of mine though: A guy in a delivery van bumped the side of it as it was parked outside my house. Luckily the van driver stopped and gave me his details so it wont cost me anything.

I bought a Vauxhall Corsa a few months ago for £4,300 and my insurance now that I've passed has gone up from the original £1500 to £2200. Really pissed me off, and insurance is a joke in the way it all works. I would definitely recommend autotrader as they have good deals on there. Although I will warn you, don't expect to get low insurance just because it's an old car. Because you're inexperienced you're a high risk. It's not just about your car. If you crash into someone and you're at fault, it'll come out of your insurance. What I basically did was buy a decent car that was going to last me a few years and was going to be reliable, and just paid for the high price of insurance. It's annoying but after a year of no claims it'll go down by 40%. So thats my advice to you if you can afford that.

I've never ever played this game, and although I would like to play it I'm scared I'd get mentally addicted to it. I used to do the same with Championship/Football Manager so I stopped playing them.

I have to see a dietitian because of my weight problems. I'm 5ft 10 and I used to weigh 8st 3lbs. A few months later I managed to get up to 10st 2lbs. Since then it's been nothing but downhill and I'm somewhere around 9st. Thing is I don't actually like eating. I can eat a whole tub of ice cream or a big bar of chocolate from time to time, but there isn't a great lot of dinners I like and I could quite easily never eat breakfast.

I didn't even mention Mario Galaxy. And I really need to mention finishing Zelda TP after about 6 months. I was so glad.

To me Uncharted is like a good version of Tomb Raider, so if you're a fan you're practically guaranteed to like it. I really want to get started on Ratchet and Clank but just got too many other games to play. Damn games!!

I'm going to be busy tonight, although I am thinking of getting the new maps soon though. I'm going to play quite a lot of online, so hopefully I'll be slightly better than utter shit soon.

Been a lot of new PS3 owners recently! I'm going to play through some more Uncharted tomorrow. Want to finish it really, before I start playing through Ratchet. Got too many games on the go really.

1) Playing through Crackdown, getting achievements with Stefkov was a lot of fun. Co-op really made that game. 2) Playing through Hotel Dusk, when I realised how cool the DS could be. There should be more story based games that use the DS in that way. 3) And finally a certain moment in Bioshock where the game was really fucking brilliant, with the story at it's most interesting. Also a special mention for actually winning a game in the Halo 3 beta!

I own both the HD DVD drive of the 360 and a PS3, so at the moment the 'war' doesn't affect me. I don't care who wins but I would like to see more drives that play both formats. It's such a pointless war as they really are shooting themselves in the foot. People aren't buying one or the other because they don't want something that will be obsolete, and there will be a loser out of the 2 formats. It just seems stupid. The best technology should have been used for a standard format called HD DVD so everyone knew what it was, and there was none of this ridiculous conclusion. I think Blu Ray will win eventually though, as in the media there's a lot of talk of it winning which I think will push people towards that format.

Sounds to me like thats a PAL version of the game and they've just used whatever box art they could find.

Is the full game much better then? Shortness has absolutely no bearing on how much I like a game, so that doesn't matter.

I tried the demo and had had enough of the button mashing by the end of that. Considering it was a short demo I decided to give the game a miss.

Agreed there. Really looking forward to the next Monkey Ball game and really hope they don't arse it up. I wish more developers would copy Nintendo (do it well though of course..)
