Man Kept Daughter In Cellar For 24 Years Austrian police are investigating claims a man held his daughter captive in a cellar for 24 years and fathered seven children by her. Detectives say the woman, identified as Elizabeth F, had been missing since August 29, 1984. Now aged 42, she was found after a tip-off to police. Her 73-year-old father, Josef F, is being held in custody. The case came to light after one of the children, a teenage girl, was taken to hospital in the town of Amstetten. The youngster, Kerstin F, is said to be critically ill. The mother and five other children are now being looked after by the local authorities. It has emerged the seventh child was a twin who died shortly after birth. Journalist Joe Remick, in Austria, told Sky News: "The only thing we know about the mother is that she is being evaluated by psychologists. "Obviously, she will have been severely traumatised by her experience." Elisabeth F. told police her father began sexually abusing her when she was 11 and locked her in a room in the cellar on Aug. 28, 1984. During the 24 years that followed, she said she was continually abused by her father and had six children by him. In 1996, she gave birth to twins but one died several days later. Josef F removed the body and burned it. Police said Elisabeth F. agreed to talk only after the authorities promised she would not have to have see her father and her children would be taken care of. The six surviving children - three boys and three girls - are said to be aged between five and 20. DNA tests are being carried out to determine whether Josef F. is the father. The case follows that of Natascha Kampusch, the Austrian girl who was held captive for more than eight years. Episode 4 was definitely slow, but it was a very good episode nonetheless. Episode 5 should have a lot going on to make up for it.

You dont need to learn to be a soldier in order to move mud! The RAF are all about providing air cover for the army. The Navy gets them to where they need to be.

I like blur and will listen to them whenever I'm down. Their songs are often misunderstood by people due to their sarcasm and every song of theirs is rich in meaning. The Universal is as beautiful as it is sad. It reminds me of people wishing for a better life all the way to the grave... Parklife is considered by many as one of the greatest music albums ever made, although the legend that is Damon Albarn - perhaps due to fame and wanting to look young - prefers rap music these days. Bring back blur! Other than blur, Im a fan of Faye Wong. Faye has an incredible voice and im learning Mandarin Chinese, so her music keeps it on the brain. Most of the lyrics in her songs are pretty bad, although she has a few good ones like ni kuai le suoyi wo kuai le (你快乐所以我快乐）. A year is enough for me! Ive currently been at my current place for 16 months and its time to move on. The people are nice, but I could easily get paid more elsewhere.

I've never had a problem with Virgin, although £18 is a bit too much. NTL had a few problems years ago, but my cable broadband connection hasnt had a problem in ages. Does the 3gb cap apply to their faster speeds as well? Im thinking of switching over to Sky and I guess that's an ADSL connection right?

Metroid Prime was born on the GameCube and the 2nd was just like the 1st. I owned both and didnt like either. Mario Kart Wii? It looks exactly the same as DD, but it comes with a cheap bit of plastic and has...motorbikes? I'm not the type of person who is going to buy the same games over and over and over again. I already seem to own most of the good games on the Wii for my GameCube and Dreamcast, just like Resident Evil 4. Resident Evil 4 isnt a Wii game and I dont see how the VC is original.

I owned Animal Crossing, Pikmin and WarioWare all on the GameCube. The GameCube was a really struggling console and every day was a drought where it was concerned, but everybody could easily name 10-20 9.0+ games that they loved on the system and a lot of them were new IPs. Nintendo and other publishers just cant be bothered this generation. Wii owners are just getting slapped in the face time and time again. The console is a GameCube 1.5 without the games.:p

Nintendo started cashing in on Mario sports titles when the GameCube was dying... They probably dont have any decent ideas for original games anymore. Disaster will probably turn out to be a disaster.

I've been a Nintendo fanboy ever since the days of the original Gameboy, but I traded my Wii in for an Xbox 360 a month ago and I don't regret it in the slightest. I hate Microsoft, but it was worth it... You dont need 2 consoles, you just need an Xbox 360 or a PS3. I didnt buy a single game that was worth playing on the Wii and the graphics made games unplayable. 1st party Nintendo games on the Wii seem to be either GameCube games with slight improvements or non gamer tripe... It was horrible owning a console and wanting to play games, but not having anything worth buying. On the Xbox 360 and PS3, developers actually want to make decent games, while Nintendo are more concerned about making games for your grandmother/500lb sister to play. Anyway, knowing Nintendo, they will release a Wii with a DVD player and built in hard drive and you will all have to buy the console twice. This is the company that sold me 3 Gameboy Advances and they are bound to give the Wii a make over if sales ever drop, because the current console is a bit of a joke. Online Call of Duty 4 > Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Well my terrapin is getting old. If he pops his clogs anytime soon, im planning on giving it away for free and might even sort the delivery out for whoever wants it. Ill probably move out in a year or so.

My Rio 400 is 400 litres, I think there is 3.7 litres to the gallon? Im not sure! Its over 100 US gallons, but only my terrapin lives in it at the moment. The rainbow shark and tiger barbs lived with him. It was a nightmare trying to feed them and It turned out to be a bad experiment:heh: Rainbow sharks are alright until they are fully grown, then they will just go crazy when your least expecting it! The picture is of my 33 US gallon fish tank. I've got a proper stand for it now. The tank looks awful right now, but all the fish get on really well together and are quite happy. Its going to look great soon. I feed them frozen bloodworm and brine shrimp.

A pleco cant survive off the algae in a tank, it would be like me trying to survive off the crumbs on my bedroom floor. Plecos like to eat wood and there are a lot of different types of tablets, pellets and algae wafers that you can get for them. I'd never keep a pleco myself, because even my Rio 400 is not big enough for one. The biggest fish I kept was a rainbow shark and he was very peaceful until he killed an entire shoal of fully grown tiger barbs one night. This is what my small 30G looked like over a year ago: Its currently looking awful and is in desperate need of redecoration!
