My dissertation. I'm about 500 words short of my word count on this final portfolio but it can wait till the morning. I have till 5 tomorrow so a quick edit and a few loose ends are really all that's left. Funny that an entire year of my life has led to this, really. I'm really happy with what I've done this week though- near enough 6,000 words since Saturday, 3 interviews and a job application. Boom!

best pre drinks in the universe to be found at The Brown Bear in Sheffield. £1.40 a pint and it's a good pint too. None of this mass produced piss water lager that, somehow, the world has been conned in to calling a drink but a proper, well made drought pint from a local brewery. It's such a good pub.

Oceana is so lame- though I did have an amusing encounter there in Leeds: Some randomo tried to kind of...lure me in for her friend by proxy. It was fuckin retarded like some kind of lame ass school disco nightmare. To top it off, I was so pissed I barely even registered that this girl was even trying to pull me so It went along the lines of: "You're really fit" "uhh..you too? yeah, thanks. Hey my friends are over there I should go" Mate's 23rd...It was messy... Also, Murr: £120? really? What the fuck are you drinking, well aged Port!? A night out for me is unlikely to pass £30 tops.

That teaser is actually really cool. More than a slight hint of L4D or is that just me? I dig this trend for cinematic trailers etc that exist outside of the game proper. Not to sound like a broken record but the Halo ones for Halo 3, ODST and Reach have been excellent (Reach less so but myeh)

Na I jest, obviously. The N-Gage was an awfully timed, poorly thought out mess with ill thought out technology aiming for a market that didn't exist. Things have changed a lot since then.

Huh. I dunno about this. It's been a very long time since I've really dug anything Japanese- Apart from Bayonetta which kind of spoofed the whole Japanese culture so I enjoyed that i suppose. The whole anime led design and story aspect of Japanese games really turns me off these days I think. I Loathe MGS and FF now and they're kind of emblematic of everything from out East that i don't like.
