Shame I couldn't find the third page of that scene. It's so bloody absurd but I love it: the optic blast goes through the building, hits the plane the x-men are captive in and, in going through that too, it severs Wolverine's shackles and sets him free. It's absolutely ridiculous

Listening to Yeasayer alot atm. Quality new album it is. Bit dancy, rock grounded Brooklyn indie at it's best. They're really riffing on the world music influence again and generally tightening things up a bit from their looser first attempt. and Ambling Alp is amazing.

I have a feeling it'll be aimed squarely at the Not Harry Potter and The Not Harry Potter Subtitle crowd. I can see it now: Not Harry Potter (played by Spiderman) is helped to solve a mystery surrounding Not Hogwarts school in Queens by his friend Harry 'Not Ron' Osborn and Mary 'Ginger Hermione' Watson after the death of Not Dumbledore makes him take up Not Magic and adventure.

Well for the most part you're the menial end of the law. Carrying out the drudge work either picking up the drunks and shitheads off the streets or filling out endless paper work in a massive bureaucracy. and, to be perfectly blunt, I think the force attracts a certain kind of small minded power tripper that I can't stand.

Yeah it's pretty ridiculous. Even if you have 100 combinations of equipment on something like ME, there's no excuse for that gear, part of the core experience, failing to interact convincingly. It's ok in something like WoW, but not ME
