they should do a Watchmen and put it in the intro sequence.

What's been said kind of hints towards the Ultimate Spider-Man version of events, which is a different take on the whole origin and early years. In that, Spider-Man is still 15 and at school. Personally, I'd be hoping that they ditch most of the origin guff and just jump in. Everyone knows the story now and they'd be much better served using limited screen time to better effect elsewhere.

That was a good show. I love how the weekend on six is basically taken over by musicians and specialists; it makes for some seriously educational listening. I find it impossible to turn off.

Pretty much. If you read The List:Daredevil and go forward in DD from there, you'll be in the right spot to read it. basically, DD has taken over The Hand and, in order to wield them for good, kicked the (corrupt) police and H.A.M.M.E.R out of Hell's Kitchen. He's declared Martial Law and Shadowland is his HQ. The event is all the street level heroes taking him on.

Hold the phone. You can drink BEEF and nobody told me? Jesus fuck, world. Anyway- straight black coffee for me. No milk or sugar. For clarity's sake; I'm not talking about instant coffee as it's totally vile filth but proper ground coffee. Here's two reasons: They're amazing, delicious and invigorating drinks. What's not to love?

Terry Gilliam is one of the most inconsistent film makers out there. I rate his better films as some of my favorites of all time but the rest is often bleh. Brazil is untouchable.

Imagine if 4Chan ever did useful stuff with all that misdirected energy and time. It'd be like harnessing the Death Star to give everyone a blowjob.

I love that, 15 years on, the descent in to Riddley's lair is still pretty scary. The game is so threatening to the player, at all times. It's kind of a precursor to Survival Horror in many ways. That midi on that lift will always be a highlight. Gives me goosebumps.

Xbox. It was just fucking evil. I did a proper airpunch* when I finished the last boss and everything. *alone in my room

Related: First N64 game I played was Lylat Wars- Man, what an introduction! I still have very, very fond memories of that game; especially the very beginning when you can skim the lake...there was just something mind blowing about that.

You should check out 6 on a Sunday, Odders. Genuinely brilliant all day.

Finishing Ninja Gaiden- honestly the single most satisfying gaming thing I've ever done. Absolutely bastard hard. doing the full set of 'Annual' achievements on Halo 3/ ODST. Bungie deliver a masterclass (again) in meta gaming and how to transform a simple series of challenges in to a co-op quest spanning several nights play, several media platforms and culminating in one of the funniest and most satisfying gaming sessions I've ever taken part in. Huzzah! The BBC Trust has announced that "The case for the closure of 6 Music has not been made" and the station will remain open. Tabasco Fantastic news. 6 Music is, to my mind, by far the best radio station on the airwaves and, aside from being criminally under exposed, is just about perfect.

Woah there, 90s. Kindly fuck off. So Delorean, eh? Not entirely too shabby at all. Lovely stuff. Reminds me of Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works going on a summer holiday. G'wan.
