wow, Play.com and HMV, both places I buy most of my dvd's, games and stuff from are now closing. I'll be sad to see HMV croydon close down, that's been there since I was in school. I remember a lot of pop groups used to perform and sign stuff there in the 90's. But as many have said already, the pricing just seemed to get worse. I hope HMV can continue as an onine retailer rather then just completely disappear. Also: I thought this was funny:

General Gaming Sales/Charts Discussion

What is the reason for Wii U's not being available in supermarkets? -
Got another to add to this list: It starts off as a stickerbrush symphony cover and turns into a medley of a few other songs from the series.

ugh that sucks. I use play.com all the time. I guess I know why it was getting harder and harder to find items directly stocked by play.com itself on the site, and instead got a list of independent sellers.

Its been a long time since a demo has convinced me to buy a game, this seemed fantastic from what I played of it.

Never bought from zavvi before... are they pretty bad when it comes to deliveries? Because I am very tempted to pick up a Wii U for myself at that price.

The game is available now: http://www.capcom-unity.com/mega_man

I'm looking to get a new SD card for my 3DS, but I'm a little unsure about compatibility and max storage. is their a preferred card any of you use? I think a 32 gig card is more then enough for me.

YouTube channel (Out now in US, other countries in a few months)
Helmsly replied to Helmsly's topic in Nintendo Gaming
seems to be up in Europe on the Wii shop now, I just downloaded it. I like it, i didn't seem to have any lag, i was actually really surprised by how fast it was. I wish this had come out easier in the Wii's life as I used to browse YT on the internet browser all the time. -
Nintendo blocking 18+ rated Wii U eShop content at certain times
Helmsly replied to Wii's topic in General Gaming Discussion
So I'm confused here. Is there a reason why Nintendo can't filter out IP address's and check the region someone is from when they use the eshop, and simply make it so non-german users can download content at anytime? Or Is this law so strict that anyone from any region has to abide by German law when the content is on a German server even if that person isn't in Germany...? And if that's the case, why can't they move the location of the eshop servers and its content to a different region to stop this problem? -
Nintendo blocking 18+ rated Wii U eShop content at certain times
Helmsly replied to Wii's topic in General Gaming Discussion
yeah this would seem the most obvious thing to do outside of simply checking the region of the people connecting to the servers. There's an interesting post on Neogaf that says the laws were created for televised content, not video game content. Any German users here that can confirm or deny this? -
I'm happy this has a release date now. I asked a friend in america to gift me the game over Steam so I already own it. I must have spent hours just messing around creating things and watching them interact with each other already, outside of finishing the main game. Being able to download other peoples creations and add them to the games library is awesome too. ^These are all other peoples creations I downloaded. The main gameplay is pretty simple, you walk around meeting NPC's who mention that they need something/ can't reach something or need help. Its up to you to brainstorm and create items that you think would help them. For each person you help out you earn a Starites, or a shard of a Starite. The more Starites you collect, the more areas you unlock in the game. It lets you get pretty creative with things too, there was a girl with a cat stuck in a tree and wanted me to get it down. The obvious answer would be to make her a ladder but I could also just give her springy boots so she can jump up and grab the cat, or angel wings to fly up, or create a lumber jack and a chainsaw to cut the tree down. The game would of accepted any of those creations and the NPC or I could used them.

Nintendoland and Nsmbu would of picked up scribblenauts too, but its not out until next year -
I'm really impressed with the design of the eShop, looks like its really easy to navigate but also does a good job of showing the latest games released on it. looks like Nintendo did an great job there.

Ninja turtles still shows in my "titles you've downloaded" list and I re-downloaded it from there
-
yeah the PC version has Steam workshop support, people have been uploading and sharing their created stuff already: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/browse/?appid=218680
-
that's odd when I click your link I see it, but when I click it in steam I get: An error was encountered while processing your request: This item is currently unavailable in your region Edit - I see, thats a US steam link
-
looks like the PC version isnt comming out until 2013, Jeremiah Slaczka confirmed this on neogaf i hope this isnt the case for the Wii U version too.
-
Yeah think I'll do that just in case. I didn't know Ninja turtles for the NES was taken down too this year. I own that game, so I guess I could test it out with that.
