Switch got a new firmware update overnight/this morning: Added the following system functionality: A Sort Software feature is available after selecting to view All Software from the HOME Menu Software can be sorted by time last played, total play time, software title, and software publisher The All Software option displays when there are 13 or more software icons on the HOME Menu A View All Available News option is available within News, allowing you to view all news items currently being distributed Go to News > Channel List > View More Select from 15 new icons from the Splatoon™ 2 and Yoshi’s Crafted World™ games for your user To edit your user icon, head to your My Page on the top left of the HOME Menu > Profile A feature to Transfer Your Save Data is now available, allowing you to transfer your save data for individual games between your Nintendo Switch systems Go to System Settings > Data Management > Transfer Your Save Data Save data will not remain on your source system after the transfer process completes A Zoom feature can be enabled from within System Settings Go to System Settings > System to turn Zoom ON Once enabled, you can use the Zoom feature by pressing the HOME Button twice An option is available to prevent the system from waking from Sleep Mode when an AC adapter is disconnected Go to System Settings > Sleep Mode > Wake When AC Adapter is Disconnected This also applies when undocking your console A VR Mode (3D Visuals) restriction is available within Parental Controls This will also be available in the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app through a later update Go to System Settings > Parental Control These settings can also be changed from within Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit Hong Kong / Taiwan / South Korea is available for selection in Region Go to System Settings > System > Region The following names have been changed (functionality remains the same) Save Data Cloud Backup > Save Data Cloud Transfer Your User and Save Data > Transfer Your User Data General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience.

Demo for Yoshi's Crafted World is up

Very excited for this, but I am going to miss using the Wii U's gamepad for creating stages. It was perfect for this game. It looks like you get to make 2D Mario 3D World stages, which is awesome.

Yeah I am mostly looking forward to hearing more about Animal Crossing, so I hope there is something about that game mentioned. Other then that, I quite indifferent to whatever they might show. I'd imagine Luigi's Mansion 3 will be shown. There were rumors of Metroid Prime Trilogy, so I hope that's a real thing

Yeah agreed. Any other company would have released the game, knowing it wasn't great, just to recoup the money they've spent on the title so far. Full credit to them for starting over AND telling the fans directly whats going on and why its happening.

Every once in a while I'll sub to the network just to watch the old stuff. Mostly early 90s because that's when I loved it as a kid and also because of how over the top the characters were back then. I was also thinking about subbing, watching Royal Rumble this Sunday and then watching a bunch of old stuff but I'm still on the fence about it.

Picked this up for Christmas during the sale and really enjoying it. My only dislike so far is that you must have a rabbid on your team at all times. I kinda wanted to play as Mario, Peach and Luigi at least for one match. But other then that minor thing, I think the game is excellent and if I am still enjoying it after the games complete, I'll probably get the dlc.

To add to this, its not as if the Switch is their first foray into Online gaming. They have had online on their systems since the original DS in 2005. So looking at how they have improved their offering for playing games online in all that time, i don't think they have gotten very far and in some ways have gone backwards. I wouldn't mind so much if they were not charging for it now.

Yes, can't believe its been a year already. It seems they hid some pixel Luigi's and Toads in the Metro Kingdom .No idea if you get a reward for it though
