  1. Happy Birthday Ashley
  2. I've been enjoying playing Red Steel, though I've not felt incredibly motivated to play it - maybe playing it twice a week for a few hours at a time. I had got quite far into the game I think, I only needed to do one more mission for those boss people. Unfortunately my game data seems to have been erased, I'm suddenly back on the geisha mission which I did first is there a way to get back the data I lost? I don't really want to have to play it through again.
  3. I can't wait for excitetruck, but you should :P
  4. Happy Birthday
  5. Been here since the start of C-E but didn't post for a very long time
  6. The Gamestation in my highstreet is a lot better than Game. I've never had a problem there and the staff know about games which helps. The trolls in Game are barely alive.
  7. Have you read The Closed Circle? That's the sequel set about 20 years later. It's just as good imo
  8. The Rotters Club and The Closed Circle by Jonathon Coe excellent books also anything by Terry Pratchett
  9. The tv show was great when I was 5 or something... lol nice one I hope they do change the name if it makes it over here... although I doubt I'd watch anyway
  10. The ability to master any skill, that's a good one, I think I'll be stealing it 1. master any skill 2. Psychic powers to allow me to see 30 seconds into the future (just so I can freak people out) 3. Turn invisible/visible at will (to include my clothes and whatever/whoever I may be touching at the time)
  11. It certainly would have given you a much greater sense of achievement. I don't mind how they did it but it would have been great to fight the boss once to get a taste of it and then warping back on the last day to fight it one last time (maybe with increased difficulty too).
  12. I had that on the original N64 version (well still do, everytime I play it with my family), only when there's 3 or 4 players and it only seems to happen on moo moo farm, bowsers castle and dk jungle parkway. Oh and it happens in battle mode on skyscraper, makes for some hilarious frantic battling
  13. I currently have: Spare headset Notepad 2 pens (marker and biro) Sunglasses Webcam TV Remote Monitor Keyboard Mouse It's all kind of behind my big bulky monitor though so can't really get a good pic of everything.
  14. Sorry for your loss, I hope you and your family get through it ok
  15. I wanted a black wii, now it's too late. Hopefully they'll sell the coloured controllers seperately too so I can get a black one.
  16. I do talk to myself but usually in my head. If I'm annoyed at a game I'll shout out though and if I'm really annoyed then there'll be a constant stream of abuse for about 10 minutes - although if someone comes in halfway through it will stop immediately and I'll act like I wasn't saying anything.
  17. Best answer here, do that.
  18. I think Diddy Kong Racing blended storyline and racing together perfectly. I'm glad it's getting remade. MarioKart is still better though in terms of pure racing fun.
  19. A good mixture between on rails and free roaming please and no bloody land missions! (I mean on foot) Lylat Wars is one of my all time favourite games, a proper sequel to it would be brilliant.
  20. We could place a trail of werthers originals from one end of the street to the other
  21. Yep, Tricky from Starfox Adventures definitely. Thankfully I've blocked out most of my memories of him
  22. Wouldn't this be better suited in retro gaming? I'll always consider the original Super MarioKart to be my favourite. Though MarioKart64 is the one I always play with my family. Super circuit was ok but double dash was disappointing. The DS version is great though, online play - hooray! I suppose in order it would be: Super MarioKart MarioKart 64 MarioKart DS MarioKart Super Circuit MarioKart: Double Dash
  23. I don't start many threads so hopefully this will take off and I'll be a huge success... I was riding around my town today and on my way home I decided to cut through the highstreet (which is pedestrianised). Now I'm more than capable of steering through the crowd but there's always a danger of being confronted by a member of the PPOC (Piss People Off Club). Why is it, that old people have to try and piss everyone off? I was just cycling through the highstreet at 0.002 mph and he decided that I was a threat to humanity and must be stopped at once. He was so fearful that I might hit him (or someone else) that he practically ran round the lampost that was seperating us and dived infront of me. JUST so he could say 'No cycling' and then bugger off! If he had stayed in his own walking line instead of coming over to me then there wouldn't have been a bloody problem anyway! I'm not one of these idiots that cycle on the pavements getting under everyone's feet. I'm one of the idiots that ride in the roads pissing off all the motorists thank you very much. If this old man was so unsure of his own ability to keep out of the way of speeding things coming at him, then he shouldn't be allowed to leave The Home at all. Well that's it, sorry if you fell asleep and lost 3 hours but that's a risk you have to take when reading my posts.
  24. Imagine if Ganon got hold of Majora's Mask
  25. When people add me to msn and then ask who I am...
