    Well, it depends, most metal albums do have shit art, yeah, but that's mostly because record companies expect them to keep this stupid "metal" image. Alive or Just Breathing has great art in my opinion, as does ...And Justice For All. Your criticism it totally irrelevant, and I don't get metal albums to gawp at the artwork, I get them for the music. Also: Tool aren't a metal band.

Holy Crap...theres far too many amazing albums for me to pick my favourite... but it's between these: Killswitch Engage: Alive or Just Breathing Children of Bodom: Hatebreeder Metallica: And Justice for all: Megadeth: Rust In Peace In Flames: Colony Lamb of God: As The Palaces Burn Slayer: Reign In Blood...maybe... Nile: Amongst The Catacombs of Naphren-Ka Nirvana: Nevermind Give or Take. Fantastic albums nonetheless.
