I am getting so fucking fed up of venturing in this thread and seeing the same people arguing with each other. I'm trying to read peoples posts about the game (well, more trying to convince myself to go to Argos and buy it today ) and it's just ridiculous having to skim through because of the same damn thing all the time. Can this thread not be cleaned up? Or moved to a new thread. It's gone way beyond discussing Captain Toad now and is just personal agendas and egos trying to outdo one another.

Getting this for Christmas Blade so I will! I say getting it, it's sat on my shelf at the min unopened... so it's a 'to Aneres, from Aneres' gift. But saving it for Xmas day!

I thought I read the episodes run til May? I knew they'd release a box copy eventually, I just absolutely detest the chapter / episode release format.

This is how I originally felt about Revelations 2. Until I read they were releasing it in episode / chapter form from February, one a month for 4 months or so. Bull shit. Just give me a damned box copy with the full thing on.

Well if those dates are to be believed, even for the successor of 3DS, then Nintendo need to sort themselves out and actually release some games for the 3DS... This year has been crap for the handheld for their standards. Nothing of interest, and only 2 or 3 'must haves' for me.

Go my first hands on with amiibo earlier this morning, in Asda of all places! £10 a figure, which seemed decent. Peach looked like shit, so i therefore lost all interest Right by the till they were though... I was only buying a cd for a secret Santa so was pleasantly surprised to see them!

Someone's got to like her! Anyway we're derailing the thread. And Christ knows there's been enough of that in here already...

I can't wait for this game. I haven't touched my Wii U since the MK DLC and I only played those courses a couple of times. Brilliant though, and I have a huge urge to play them again at the minute. Other last few big releases from Nintendo haven't appealed to me in the slightest. Bayonetta and Hyrule Warriors are a no no. Also, as much as I love Smash, the single player aspect of it just doesn't seem strong enough for me to buy into it yet. I did spend a load of time with Mike1988UK and Smash Wii U a week or so ago and we had a great time! Playing with all the new characters, bit of healthy competition like the old days but that's kinda the thing. It's not the old days for us anymore so the days of playing this with a load of mates, (where smash shines IMO) are gawn. Captain Toad then, is exaaaaactly what I need over the festive period. This is the perfect game for me to laze back with a massive box of chocolates left over from Christmas at my side. Going to town. I know I will enjoy this as I loved these sections in SM3DW. I get it's not for everyone, but it's definitely for me. And finally a reason to turn my Wii U on again!

DLC incoming!! http://www.totalxbox.com/82532/sunset-overdrive-story-expansion-dlc-coming-soon/ They've added a new area to the map they is surrounded by water, an oil rig, which has new types of OD enemy and what look like scabs, just dressed in hi viz oil worker gear. I'm really pleased about this. I still play the game daily! Getting all the collectables, getting gold on all the missions, levelling the weapons up... My play time is 50 hours so far. So DLC is massively welcome. The only thing is, they seem to be adding loads. This new DLC also gives new moves for water traversing too. A dive under water and a leap out of it, basically so you can keep your score up for traversing which was a little more difficult in the main game. Surely this kind of stuff should have been kept for a sequel?! Either way, can't wait. It's out 23rd Dec apparently. Nice little Christmas pressie!

I've asked my parents / sister for a Neeeeeew 3DS for Christmas. I've tried to best explain that it is an import, and which model it is... "No not that one. Or that one that's an XL. No that's the new new one but that's the XL. I want the normal one. Yeah the white one..." I'm worried ha. I'd just order it myself but I have every faith I've given them all the info they need! A New 3ds and Pokemon for Christmas day sounds delicious!

LA Noire. Just because I played it to completion and redid the cases several times and I could tell you what happens in every one virtually. One of my favourite all time gaming experiences. But I wouldn't pick it up and play it again. Mainly for fear of it not living up to the memory, though I doubt that right now as it isn't that old yet. But yeah, incredible game.

So I have no interest in these, but the fact that 3 of them may be discontinued (I know it isn't officially confirmed) makes me wonder if I should pick those three up? They are all in stock at my local Argos. Wise, or pointless? I say I have no interest in them, I don't, but for a collectible keep them sealed purpose I am slightly intrigued...

I think if you class yourself as a Nintendo fan and then turn round and say that this looks garbage and you'd rather have something else, then you need to re-evaluate your opinion on the company. The Toad sections were some of my favourite sections from 3D World. Even if just to hear that tooting whistle before the level began. I hope there's more o'dem kind of sounidings! Roll on Jan. This is a must have for me, and in all honesty - excites me much more than what we've had the last few months in Bayonetta, Hyrule Warriors and such. : peace:
