There has been a lot of coverage on movie tie ins, largely that came as a result of Wanted. That we should look at licensed games as the B movies/straight to DVD's of the industry, they are created on much shorter development cycles and perhaps not with an A team lineup etc... If they were thought of as such and perhaps sold at cheaper RRP prices, say £30 perhaps even less then maybe they would fair better, but then companies pay a lot for these licenses so they are unlikely to.

I don't get why people are defending Nintendo for region locking, in today's global world theres no excuse yes they can do it to control distribution etc...but really? PSP and PS3 aren't region locked and 360 has region free games doesn't it? So why not Nintendo...I will be gutted if this doesn't make it over here, it takes excitetruck one of the best Wii games adds novel ideas and lots of variety and now we might not get it

Yeah I'm hanging fire to play this before I cancel my preorder like the rather hasty; To be fair though I'm not feeling it either, I'm suspecting I will pick up Punchout as my May purchase over this.

Not homework as such but desperate and need a hand lol: Can anyone think of any good words that begin with J that would be good names for judges for a talent contest...so like at the moment we have nasty nick and awful adam any other ideas.... Also one beginning with G would be good! I'm struggling and really need your help with this for some name badges for this talent contest we are doing at work...

I'm with Daft I don't get why the Wii is region locked either. I love the fact that the PS3 isn't and that importing is so easy! I don't think NoA's lack of support for this has helped they seem to have put all their marketing vigor at the moment behind Punchout. It's crazy they should have supported this more to get it some sales the sales it clearly deserves. It's a shame because Excitetruck was a great game and there is definitely potential in this new direction they've taken the franchise in.

My only game preorder this month is for infamous another game getting great reviews but I've been a bit jaded with games recently I wonder if this could be fun and enjoyable enough to get back in the mode much like House of the Dead Overkill did last time I felt like this.

QFT...was never a doubt in my mind that this was the villiage for me...although there was one in Links Awakening that I liked...it wasn't the starting one it was another one but I forget the name of it.

Yeah me to... I've completed the main story and found it hard motivating myself going back to an old save and doing everything again for the same ending but knowing that now I will be able to continue past that ending will make me pick it up again...

I understand what you mean about the one edged story it would make it more funneled and focus and stand more chance of evoking some kind of emotion through one well written story rather than two sides of the coin.

Yes definitely. I also don't think in general they manage to evoke the kind of emotional response they want. You don't feel like you are making a big decision that has a meaningful bearing that makes you thing. Fallout 3 achieved it a couple of times and I think GTA IV did on the rare occasion. Most of the time though the decisions are empty and soulless...

rumours on neogaf are suggesting that this latest countdown is just for the next unveil on the site as in the next stage of the flash animation and there will be a further 3 countdowns leading up to E3.
