  1. Have to say feel the same...
  2. Well I guess so...but they technically did rewrite history with their actions...I know the ending left it ambiguous but there was a sense that they were truly altering events throughout the film, something that T3 lacked as there was never a sense that events would change. I'm not trying to say T3 is a great film I want to make clear, just it does have some merits however slight and think one was the poignant ending.
  3. Not got that far yet...Up to the third set of levels. Love how just when you have got it sussed it mixes things up and chucks in a ton of new possibilities/problems that make you tackle the levels in a new way.
  4. I really need to add more people on steam...only got two friends...if people want to add me my name is flameboy on there.
  5. That sounds awesome, remember seeing the dvds all the time when I worked at HMV always wondered what it was about...
  6. Yeah saw the pack but quite expensive and don't need that many games all in one go. Anyway off to play some Plants vs Zombies!

    Fallout 3

Is there anything worth finding in Vault Tec Headquarters? It's an optional quest to find the location of Vault 92, but its already marked on my map, so I don't really need to be here as I already know the location (miles away!)

    Fallout 3

Yeah that was part of the main plot...I'm still playing on my first save, not got the time to start from scratch but still want to do more, guess its ok though as I know where the last mission is so any other missions I can just do.

Be careful though otherwise you'll complete it faster than expected like I did first time round.
  10. What's political correctness got to do with it? I can see the arguement for mainstream though. Although I do not agree with, the nuclear holocaust overtones and the relatively bleak endings to both T2 (Arnie getting lowered into the pit of molten steel second greatest tear jerker after ET "dieing") and T3 stops them from quite being mainstream. The popular cult rise of the terminator as a figure did lend itself to this more mainstream idea. I get the sense Salvation is trying to be a war film in the vein of apocalypse now or something but really it is just a dumb action war film with some Terminator lore shoved in.
  11. For the most part yes T3 was tosh compared to the other 2 but I think one thing it did really well was the ending. I thought it was quite poignant and John's realisation was a great moment. Although its premise that Judgement Day is inevitable did unwrite all that was created in the second film... I think the biggest problem with Salvation is it misses the point of what made the terminator films great. Yes the odd flashes of war in the other films were awesome but it was the fear the potential of this war created that made the films so great. That suspense that what was being played out now had an effect on that awful future. Salvation kinda plays its hand with this from the start with it being in the midst of the war. The trailers all look shite as well... Don't even get me started on the scrapped leaked ending to Salvation either...what a canon fucker that would have been...
  12. I'm not really a fan of tower defense either but tried out the demo and loved it. Worth a try, yeah the artwork is awesome.
  13. Didn't see a thread for this so thought I'd start one. If you havn't tried popcap's latest effort get yourself on Steam and download the 60 minute demo, things start off pretty slowly but it soon perhaps a mad cap race to keep those zombies off your lawn. Part tower defence, part turn based strategy its brilliant! Honestly download it is worth it. area5.tv looked at it on co-op; http://area5.tv/blog/co-op-0111-drop-and-give-me-e3-bionic-commando-plants-vs-zom.html

    Fallout 3

Forgot how great this game is. Just been pottering round exploring. The save I have carried on from is literally before you set off with the Brotherhood of Steel for the final mission. So all I have to do is sidequests. Currently set off for one of the vaults to find an instrument for an old lady, but as usual got distracted by discovering other locations a long the way...
  15. Did I miss something? Saw a trailer for Goal 3 on Soccer AM today..but not for cinema release but on DVD...has it gone straight to DVD or did I miss it? No surprise if it has gone straight to DVD as the 2nd one was awful.
  16. Apparently so sigh...I'm gutted shite game and apparently the film isn't too hot either...
  17. Surely missing the point slightly? I play FIFA and Pro Evo but not for the management side of things and leave that to FM. They've stopped doing the 360 versions for now...so they can concentrate on PC, PSP and of course FMLive (which is awesome!)

Well played the demo and really liked it seemed a solid enough game. However I think whilst there was a good mix of mission types demonstrated I do feel that within each mission there was too much repetition, this could have been solved in two ways make the missions just that little bit shorter or mix things up in different ways. I loved the defence between good and evil, the electricity effect was more controlled and elegant when good and more wild and uncontrolled as a bad guy. I think I am actually tempted to be in bad in this, not something I often do.

    Fallout 3

I'm going to revisit Fallout 3 this afternoon. I completed the game just 25 hours after stumbling across the ending lol! There was that much else out at the time that I lost motivation for it. But now with the DLC (which I have managed to stay spoiler free, as I didn't care seem as it wasn't PS3 bound) coming to PS3 I feel like I'm going to go out and explore and get some of the side quests done and continue to level up so I'm all maxed out. Did consider starting again but thats a massive investment so not going to do that!
  20. Yeah with any luck it will mate! mine hasn't played up for a while now..
  21. I'm not sure what I make of the Big Daddy look. This version of the Big Daddy is the original prototype who is of course slightly over powered when compared to the models we know from the game. I'd expect the look to represent this but instead he looks bland.
  22. I feel for you, I had that rut of connection problems when Killzone 2 came out and it is such a ball ache.
  23. I'm tempted to get this, never bothered with Wii Fit as felt it was overpriced for what it offers...I like the look of this and certainly think that the 30 day challenge thing is has looks awesome...helps you develop what you want over a sustained period. EDIT 1up review for anyone interested; http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3174331&p=44
  24. Yeah didn't they recently give a number as to how many we expect every month, can't remember the figure they gave.

I've actually cancelled my preorder as can't afford it day one, downloading the demo now, not really played many games recently so good to get back into it...
