Playing Mass Effect 3 without having played either of the previous games in the trilogy seems like it'd be kind of a hollow experience. A large part of the fun was seeing how the story would end and the endless callbacks to the last two games. You may as well ask someone to jump into the Harry Potter series with the last book/last two films. Assassin's Creed 3 isn't really the same thing, as there are no decisions to carry over that will affect the game and the story will likely be mostly stand-alone, save for the Desmond segments.

People seem to love HD collections, but maybe that's because they also tend to add achievements/trophies. Release an HD version of Super Mario Galaxy with some sort of achievements and the fans will eat it up.

I second that. Either that, or just keep discussion to the Wii U subforum when there's a Wii U version. Separate threads for nearly identical versions of games seems a bit unnecessary.

First they came for Rock Band, and I didn't speak out because the game was just a cheap distraction. Then they came for Madden, and I didn't speak out because it shouldn't even be called football. And then they came for my BioWare games, and there was no one left to speak out for me. Anyway, I really need an official statement on this before I get outraged. Maybe they're just replacing it with the new version for free?

I didn't even like Fable 3 much. Or Fable 2, really. The first Fable was alright for what it was, I guess.
