I found out santa wasn't real when I was pretty young. My sister had started school and I hadn't, and my mum took me with her to a neighbour's to pick up a My Little Pony castle thing. A month or whatever rolls by, and my sister's unwrapping this massive gift from santa -- it's... the castle. My sister's all ecstatic and I start saying "no it's not! It's from mum! I saw her get it!" and basically my sister was crying because I was telling her that santa wasn't real, and my mum was telling me to shhh and that he was real, so then I'm all "why are you lying, mum?" Probably one of my earliest memories :/

Face buttons are used to actually play a game - iteract with the environment, perform moves generally, y'know, play the game. The right analogue, for all intents and purposes, is easily argued as merely 'tweaking'. Take it to the extremes; if you took away the face buttons but left the stick then most games would be unplayable. Take away the right stick and leave the face buttons and you'll be greatly peeved and feel restricted, but you'd certainly get a lot more done.

Well I'm basically playing with all fingers crossed. I want to get a couple of double-jumps so that I can survive in the mid-league reasonably well. Set my tactics up, just a matter of watiing now!

I'm actually annoying myself with the Oz thing. At work it's that go-to thing that people talk to me about (plus someone's just returned from a year there), and the other day I went to a house party and accidentally brought australian wine, which made it seem that I wanted to show off the oz thing. Urg. I'll be paying some family frieds in Brisbane a visit at some point as they've invited us to visit them. Yeah it's spiders that gets the rep -- mostly because they are the ones that pop up inner-home...

I had quite a fun ride -- just didn't piece together a viable strategy with how to best handle my communication with Eenuh. She had the ability to kill, but for a while I thought that she might've secretly been the bourbon kid; the paranoia meant I couldn't ensure that she wouldn't decide to target me for investigation at some point... A coupla more nights with her alive, after Tales saying I was innocent, I think I could've shaped a better game for maff. My fake role didn't have any sort of "you will win if x happens to y" or anything, and I couldn't really press one way or the other and just generally tried to stick to the (fake) truth. Not a bad game, truth be told I think I escaped attention for long enough, with enough things happening in my favour, but ultimately we couldn't shift enough heat onto cube because by the time I could accuse him properly he had been looked at by plenty of other investigators so a fabrication couldn't really happen for us. Hmmm yeah I was worried about that. At first the City seemed massive and full of wonder... but quickly it appears to be mostly padded out with riddler nonsense, so yeah. Next couple of sessions will be clearing that up as much as possible. I definitely prefer the story and feel of Asylum. I appreciate what City has tried to do but it's largely a case of shoehorning -- generally speaking I'm glad it's collectables that've been added for padding though as I'm happy to trundle about and pick them up, but the story itself, if I am indeed close to the end, is definitely shorter and less rewarding.

I still chose to play a fairly weak side for dev value for myself, but kinda gutted that my squad selection for my next game is going to be drastically reduced - especially against essentially the most on-form team in the league, with promotion spots at play (as well as my undefeated crown!). It was still important to win today - a narrow win away will do but I would've preferred a stronger message to be sent out to re-cement my point taht your draw against me, at home, was a fluke down to me forgetting to set tactics. But yes, the points will do. Guarenteed the title so I guess losing on friday will be no biggie... But now I'm the key to success or failure for DuD so I don't wat to simply give the next promotion spot away!

FYI flink, I'd selected my squad and tactics prior to your feeble "oh woe is me I need DV" stuff. My weakest side is still a match for your strongest :P

Set my aprehensive tactics. I know I have promotion guarenteed, and even a league win is certain so long as goal difference stays in place -- but we'll see. Should be a tricky game.

No matter my personal goal to make up for the pathetic draw against flink earlier this season, I've not set out a squad to obliterate, so don't worry - your 3-0 loss will stay the worst defeat. Tomorrow I won't find out the score until about 11pm! Madness!

By the end of the day I had cleared through the data we call on to such an extent that for the last hour I was calling number I'd called when I started today. Tomorrow I'll only have numbers I called today. I'm supposed to be calling medium-to-large companies who have 30+ company owned/leased vehicles, who are based on mainland UK, and aren't couriers or driving schools or other industries with a very high mileage. Literally 99% of the data we have has been precisely the opposite; companies with 1-10 vehicles, existing customers, based in ireland or even car dealerships that supply the company I'm calling. The 'good' news is that our clients will be "looking at sorting out new data for us" from wednesday... but that means we won't actually have any 'til friday or next monday. As I said... there's basically 200 numbers to call, which I've called three times already, who are to small and thus 'under criteria' and many are likely to be existing customers... soo... Yeah. Basically wasting everyone's time for the rest of the week.
