  1. Posted four or five times now. Lamers be not up to date with hundreds of pages of a thread! Tsk
  2. Yeah I told myself "I'll see them next time around" but, if anything, it'll make it worse surely? First time around the show was doing it on purpose, so in a sense it wasn't spoiling but controlling our emotions/expectations a little more. A second viewing, I'll be like "oh it's that episode with the that and the those and all". Not sure if that's a bad thing. Surely not with BSG anyway.
  3. That's been posted before, boo. I've got 'em all on DVD... Well possibly not including season 4, I've forgotten. When Simon leaves the focus shifts, and it goes from being one of those comedy/drama shows into a stupid overbearing pile of crap, with Bob and his Thai bride being hte main storyline?! WTFWTWFTWFW... yeah sorry.
  4. Fu. Hot girl FORGOT she was cooking me dinner, so I guess 'date' was never a 'date' and it ain't ever going to happen :P She wanted to rearrange for monday but I just said "shame! Oh well." - got uni tuesday morning and i don't want to get pissed the night before. So from one Fail to another; last week I was cooking for a mate and he was to provide booze. He was meant to be at mine for 7, but by 8 I was cooking and he still wasn't answering his phone. Come 10 he calls and says "shit sorry mate, fell asleep". But today he's called up and is coming over tonight with booze, so it's ok. The above two fails are the worst kind, the kind where you realise people forget about you pretty easy. Hard on the face. MW2 spec op missions for me, today. BIG LIFE YAYS etc.
  5. With BSG I would seriously sit there with my hands over my eyes and wait for the big DRUM when I knew it was safe to look, now. Danté - yes i know it's on soon, yes i know how many seasons there have been. Yes, I don't want to refresh myself. Is that a problem?
  6. my 19-3 defender may seem like a silly purchase, but he has four awesome skills (and one bad one). He's going to be a sturdy 24-9 hopefully :P
  7. True, but I AM BRAVE so I think we should check for more survivors and stuff. Why leave when you don't know where you're leaving from or where you're going to? Something's obviously happening here...
  8. Oooh so I am in the room with gray now. Got you! I am less confused. Wasn't Cell Block D locked when Moogle tried it earlier?
  9. I didn't want to watch it because I don't want to know anything at all whatsoever even slightly remotely to do with anything I already know, even. I don't want to know the tone of the show, which can be relayed with a comparison montage of parts of previous seasons.
  10. Well if i was in teh situation, which I am, I'd try and talk them down. Perhaps can I ask the narrator to re-describe the situation for me?
  11. Just to re-iterate grunch's post, mostly because I came in here to make the post only to find he'd already said it and I don't like to leave without making a scene; This isn't a thread for trick answers. The other riddle thread is. See? Reiterating, just with more words.
  12. Oh I remember that debacle, now. No doubt there are records of your dads shitness somewhere, just being a case of whether he'll ever get round to sorting you out, eh.
  13. There's also teh added cost of watching it in 3D to factor in, too. If you just equate it to tickets purchased, I'd reckon titanic would still win. But nobody cares about that. Just the money!
  14. I'm thanking you for putting it in spoilers. I didn't actually watch/read your post.
  15. Whaaat!! What reasoning did they give to you? Pretty harsh dude.
  16. I don't know what I'm supposed to do with the dudes in this cellblock, but I can't tell if Gray's in this one or not anymore because I can't remember where I am. ReZ, where am I?
  17. Ok, I admit, I have no idea how to play and it's frustrating.
  18. Flashback was... man! First time I played it I was about 11 years old, and the only reason I picked it from a mate's pile of games was because of the name and cartridge cover thing. Loved teh music, the eerie storyline, the bizarre nature of it all. I'm sure I got no further than some sort of level set in a TV show which had robots coming after me, or something... Hunchback on the gameboy, because i had the game for about 4 years before I managed to even realise how you swam, and probably another year before I got to the 2nd level. I just remember loving the art and the music and taking absolutely forever to get any good at it. World Cup '94 on the master system. Because I learned how to do an unstoppable goal, and because you could set it to real-time, which led to me playing the game to see how many goals I could score in 90 mins only to find after about 25 that the counter couldn't go past 99. To not waste the games time I decided to score 99 own goals. I think I'm probably still this easily amused.
  19. Are we comparing penises now? :P
  20. Because it annoyed me back then, as it's more than me updating my world but general lecturer ignorance. Like today the tutor couldn't find a file we were supposed to read that was on the uni servers and then said "I think you'll be able to access it from home" because she's an idiot and doesn't realise that that's not how the internet works. It was a general hyperbolic thing. Tone misplaced.
  21. So, dudes in this cell block-whatever-it-is, can y'all stfu? If not I'm just gonna start weeing on you, one by one. If I run out of wee then I'll poo, then when that's done I guess I'll just sing you a sing. You won't like it if I get that far. So just be quiet. I'm so brave. *walks under ladders and treads on cracks and shit*
  22. The whole 'five a day' thing is rather much an overblown/underknown thing. We should really be having 10 portions a day. Plus those jars of sauce are probably at least 40% tomato, so that's another portion or two right there. Four cans of cider were dozens of apples once. That counts, right? If none of what I said counts then I probably have five portions a week. And - no joke - they're all onions.
  23. Shorty makes valid points for the pc vs console argument, I think. Essentially, the difference boils down to three things; taste, blu-ray, online. Taste is surely the most important element, for the others require you to invest in some way or another (PS3 you need to pay for the upgrade of your DVD collection rather than resist the change :P, xbox for the online fee). The co-existence of both systems is a wonderful thing. The competition for our cash is the only reason for a company to ever offer something innovative. This thread has made me realise that we are paying through the nose for what is obviously a service that could be free. But that isn't going to change at anytime, so I can't really do anything about it. RE: microsoft points - I genuinely understand that they wanted to avoid having game prices change week-by-week with real-life exchange rates and inflation combating everything. The fact is consumers are always a bit 'err...' when a price is £12.52 rather than £12.99. It's like, too accurate a price. Consumers don't trust it. But yeah, just switch to real money ffs.
  24. ReZ; you'll hear it 'more fine' than anyone else simply because you know the dialogue already, and you are accustomed to how you both talk a lot more than us. It's definitely an issue. I hope the sound is fixed for teh future - you won't get these vids very far at all if your audience can't hear them properly!
