I wouldn't see the big deal, tbh... Wesley's talking about handles and taps because they can be touched before someone's had a chance to wash their hands. Especially at pubs where you see blokes just walking straight out of the loos after a piss without washing their hands. How do you open those doors? Does that not bother you at all? A naked person is not by default dirty. Why pick on their buttocks? Their hands are up to a lot more dirty business, itching themselves, picking their nose, hunting for earwax, rejiggling their testicles, touching things like bannisters, door handles that have been touched by other people, stroking animals (who lick themselves!), coughing into their hand...

Also got poker in the background. I figure having stuff on the telly, even if I'm not watching it, sorta keeps me in check with the passing of time and at least gets me to consider go to bed? I should get into reading before bed again, it's just so much more sensible. Sleeping on a sofa bed really doesn't help my sleeping pattern!

I was going on about BB since the first episode, raving about it pretty much weekly. I finally got Dan Dare to watch it and we were joined with Coolness Bears and somehow word finally spread! At my uni house last year the provided doorstops were shit, so we used folded cardboard or fire-extinguishers... In my room I'd tied a ribbon from my bed to the doorhandle (which kinda broke the handle so I had to stop that...) I'm not much of a bodger. My xx's laptop monitor refused to stay up byitself so she concoted a sort of... drawbridge thing out of string and cardboard and parcel tape. The most 'bodging' I've done, resource-wise, was using cardboard boxes for bedside cabinets... EDIT: How is any colour colder than blue?! Purple has red in it... so by default it comes after blue :P

I would suggest that you make a notepad file, and in it save a direct link to the write-up posts. Each time a night phase is over, go back over what's happened previously and try to put some clues together. (actually I think it could be more productive if the mafia narrator actually keeps track as well, and it would be of ample aid to the game if (s)he were to put direct links to past write-ups in their latest one. If that makes sense? I'm not very succinct.)

So my xbox is sat precariously, and at an angle, over the edge of the tv stand thing. Residing directly in front of the telly is the sofabed which, when it is opened, pretty much always misses knocking the 'box off by about an inch -- thanks to careful positioning by yours truly. As I lowered the sofabed last night, a clanky, soft thud jolted my memory to earlier in the day, when my mum 'tidied' the TV area. I managed to catch my memory unit, just jutting out of the console. By some shadow of a miracle that was presumably just passing me by, on its way to rescue someone more needy, like a drowning fish; the console did not tumble! Hurrah! ... Just the MU has been nearly snapped in half. I did a small prayer to the xbox god, accepting that I had been blessed thus far with no RROD but, if it was at all possible, could I possibly get my bioshock 2, l4d2, limbo and MW2 save files please? So I bent the MU back into shape with what felt like too much force... and so far it's working! My profile's on there... but I still do a lot of portable gaming, so I'm just going to have to get it a small box and some polystyrene peanuts for when we go on our travels.

It was quite popular at the start, with noobs who'd not played the original so they were shite, but in all honesty it's aged severely and just ain't too great anymore...

What games you got already? The Left 4 Dead games are great fun with mates, and currently I do believe Red Dead Redemption is quite popular online. Borderlands is good fun, too -- but I pretty much exclusively play MW2... Matchmaking on XBL is usually alright. You don't have to faff about, though it depends on most games, as there's usually a quickmatch option. Check your friend's list and if they're online you can see what they're playing and sometimes join their game - otherwise you can invite them to join yours, or your party where you can chat to 'em and that. I can't remember how much I paid for a year's subscription, I'm afraid! Parp.

is eggs benedict the crumpets thing? If it is, that stuff is awesome. My old housemate used to make some legendary ones with bacon, chillis and cheese.... MMMM! Flink; I skip breakfast because I have nothing to do with myself for the whole day anyway.
