I mean when you wrote "baron". Ok, I retract "see the world as it really is" for its ambiguity. If someone is insane then they are not held responsible for their actions. Their insany is determined by the extent of which a mental disorder/illness has taken effect. I would argue that the perception of something unalterable being so profoundly wrong to the extent where one is willing to chop off their own penis is a rather a strong perception to have. But I have nothing against the insane. I prefer them, if anything. I just figured if we'd have a thread debating the unneccessary use of labelling which is actuallyusing a bunch of labelling terms that I should throw this out there.

You can go for the moral angle and become entrapped within a what if god exists? bunch of shit, or you can go with the physical angle and the whole but what's the point? stuff. The controversial angle; insanity. Strictly speaking, you are insane if you do not percieve the world as it is. While this is a hugely broad way of saying things, it covers things from anorexia to autism, from schizophrenia to psychopathy. We can argue that we are all made up of varying quantities of a lot of 'insanities', but when it boils down to the bare bones, being 'crazy' is to be irrational to the point of madness. I have to admit it, that while I can tolerate transexuals, I do think that they are crazy. Crazy in the sense that I believe that they are wrong in what they think. I think I was born to be a premiership footballer -- but I'm not! So where's my operation to fix this? Oh, yeah! There's that thing called tough shit. Damn. Essentially, chopping your penis off (I know that's not how the operation works) is a stupid idea. I think it's stupid. There, I said it. Trannies are stupid. Bah.

I had to google the guy - I have to say I only recognise him from Happy Days, and that truthfully I thought he was already dead, but still, he's a legend! Living to the age of 83 is not a bad innings at all.

The IGN UK review plays down teh tech difficulties, and gives a good idea of the 'hardcore' system. The idea, I think, is that the mapis smaller, there are more 'pit-stops' and "mattresses at teh side of the road" that you can crash on, and having to drink toilet-bowl rad-ifested water will be far less optional. Joystiq's reviewer (closed the page so don't have a url for you) clearly felt pissed off by the constant and lengthy loading times, and perhaps a bit bewildered by the larger choice that the game has, as it's less clear about its morality this time. They both agreed that teh script is way better this time, and the atmosphere is more immersive. I'm still undecided whether to pick this up straight away, but pretty decided on playing hardcore mode from the off, as I think this game was designed with it in mind.

Had a very annoying fornight - a week without a game, a game with default tactics and a late winner - that also happened today. Last minute winner. But this time I only had one attempt on goal so I can't complain. Gotta get these forwards experienced! I suppose I have to be grateful that it wasn't more severe... my away form is attrocious. It always sucks losing by just one goal, mind you. Always.

I'm always willing to travel anywhere from anywhere, but I agree! Next year it'd be great to have several gigs going on at once. I've played Fallout 3 for 18 hours straight before, I think mixing the games up would keep me on form!

I'd definitely like to join you next year, fyi. I'm excellent at staying awake and have good experience of playing games for far too many hours.

At 38 years old, I doubt having kids was still a realistic option for the guy, so in essence it was a free £200 to score with. Why wouldn't he say yes? Getting younger skagheads to give up their family jewels is dangerous because their situation may lead them to falsely weight their available options. But these days the snip can be reversed, so meh.

City of Dave was great fun, and stumbling upon that viola lady's place and the UFO were both cool. The city of life... was that fallout? With the tree stuff? Deathclaw Sanctuary (or whatevs.) was... harrrdd! And scary!

Today I went to a CIDER festival in Lewes. No beer, just cider! I only had two and a half pints in 5 hours, but I had a great time. AND THEY HAD MEAD! I bought two pints of mead. I will be merry for ages. I won my girlfriend a little turtle teddy bear thing that reminded me of an old alient pod teddy i had as a kid. Also, got two episodes of Smallville to watch (shorty tells me ep4 is awesomz) and UFC 120 as well. MEAD! MEAD!!!
