With the exception of Comix Zone (which is there btw Solo) the rest of those games you have mentioned aren't made by Sega, whereas all the games on the disc are oh and Story of Thor is Sega too but yeah... at least they have the Phantasy Star Quadrilogy on there.
-
I want them all to play full screen, otherwise it's not really worth it :/ if they are full screen though I would get it for Phantasy Star IV alone.
-
That sucks the guy was a literary legend.

**edit** oh you're talking about the sound... yes 5 is harsh as it was a prime example of what could be done at the time, I really loved the BGM from the original BK ^^ and besides... the music in N&B is just the same / similar but orchestrated so it's not really a fair comment, plus don't they redo all XBLA titles with 5.1 sound? it will be nice to hear it in surround or at least the best approximation they can make out of it.
-
*confused* SSJ posted that IGN gave it a 8/10? then Cube... your saying that they gave it a criminal rating of 5? whats going on here. :/
-
Well thats reassuring to know, still though, I bet half the Were-hog bits turn out like Shadow the Hedgehog... >> a shame because the actual Sonic bits look freaking epic.
-
Damn this game is good... and tbh me getting it early does kind of make up for two years ago when I ordered the original Gears ltd edition and it got lost in the post as a result I missed out on it and ended up buying it a year later or something. Anyway, balance has been restored now (sort of) t'is truly an epic game.

I've just seen the preview on IGN... http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/927/927372p1.html looks like it could be another "7" Sonic game possibly due to the Werhog bits, the daytime levels look fucking immense and the hub serves to break things up a bit but the night-time levels... the don't look too bad but they may have just ruined the game by having Were-Sonic in it. :/ Also, in the video in that preview... WTF they have replaced the "ring loss" sound effect with the "ring get" sound effect? is that an error or just Sega being completely and utterly fucking incompetent? Shit if they just tightened up the Were-hog levels a bit more or removed them and changed the ring sound effect back to the perfect and unchanged sound it always has been (idiots it was always the one thing that was right about all Sonic game ><) then this could have been epic... I mean it still will be if you ignore the nighttime levels (which may or may not be that bad) but the ring sound effect... that would just annoy me too much. :/

It does look bad, but fans of the series may enjoy it... http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/922/922192p1.html ^^^ link to review for anyone interested.

I know, I'm not sure what I saw in them tbh :/ they were never my favourite band, just that their last album (2nd one) I quite liked, they are overplayed and overrated though.

I ordered from Play and apparently mine shipped about 4pm today... I'll be lucky to get it on release day I guess.
-
Shower... it's just... better.
-
Actually the more I think about it the less I really want it, of course it's a desirable game but then I haven't finished Fable 2 yet... and I will probably have GH:WT on Friday anyway so meh... sod it, I'll keep my Play order, ride the wave of hype a little later and yeah... it'll be all the more sweeter when it actually arrives.
-
No worries Jav : peace: I too am curious as to how the original BK on XBLA will turn out too as a lot of us will probably be playing that before the new version what with the pre-order codes, damn November is such an awesome month to be a gamer.
-
As I've said, I know 8 is great so it's no issue, for me I think it will be a 9 but I reserve judgement until I play it properly.
-
Ah ok, just checking, that particular reviewer must have really enjoyed playing it then.
-
And yep it's still packing >> sod it, if it's not sent by the time I have to go out then I'm gonna just get it from my local independent retailer on Thursday.

I did say that I wasn't calling the game shit, it was just my initial reaction as in "oh shit" all it means is that the game probably won't sell as well now but then thats probably good as well as bad... anyway, I have read the review and I shall still be getting it as I know that it's the kind of game that I will enjoy playing. Yes 8.3 is a "good" score but I remember the days when Rare made almost nothing but 9.0 + games but yes I know those days are gone now and while Rare games are still (mostly) quality they will most likely never be the Rare that many remember from eras gone by. However is nothing else Rare are still fantastically creative and it's this that I love about their more original recent games rather than their fudged sequels, I don't count this as a sequel btw simply because it's labelled as "BK:N&B" more semi sequel I guess but either way I really like the new spin they have chosen to give the gameplay and shall be contently picking this up on day 1. ^^ Out of 5? or 10...

Just in the slim chance that anyone is considering getting Razorlight's new album, don't rush out to get it, Imo it's pretty average, just listened to the whole thing and while it has a few good tracks at the beggining one in the middle and at the end it sounds slightly better, it kind of tails off with the final track, disappointing... :/ *listening to Snow Patrol to get rid of the slightly bitter taste left by Razorlight*

Shit... but it was kind of predictable (not saying the game is shit btw just my reaction) meh, I'll... still... get... it...? maybe >> *goes off to read the review for self*

Wootage, GH:WT just shipped (according to on my account) thats due for Friday as well so Gears should follow.

I'm sure he will do an excellent job, gotta be better than Bush anyway. >>
