Yeah and the best thing about the songs that are the most special to you is that no matter what else you listen to, you will always return to them because they will always be as good as they were from that memorable first listen. ^^ I actually watched the whole thing... >> I tend to like a lot of their less played stuff because as good as their best work is, a lot of their more subtle songs are somehow more special to me. Again... I watched the whole thing and actually I admit I did enjoy the weirdness of it, she clearly put her heart and soul into that performance but in a way that I wasn't really expecting, around 4.15 into it she sounds almost feral... not bringing it up as a negative but she sounds rather cat-like at that point and the end is just plain bizarre, but in a good way, anyway like I said I enjoyed it, I admit it's not always that I will actually check out a video like that but in this instance I'm glad I did. : peace: And yes, I actually checked it out before the comments about 'it won't be watched' etc were posted.

It's truly beautiful Imo, just finished listening to it and it's one of those tracks where I still get those 'shivers' down my spine like I have since the first time I listened to it. ^^ Not all music has that effect on me, but it makes the songs that do have that power all the more special.

I love Sunburn too, there are a lot of good tracks on Showbiz I really like the title track from that album not to mention Unintended and Overdue. : peace:

Wait... that's TWO things in common, the pros are allready outweighing the cons! *rushes off to buy some cigarettes* lol seriously though, I get that it's a 'starting point' or an 'ice breaker' or something if you and your potential interest both smoke but it's not really worth it Imo.

I don't know, t'is baffling... could be just so that it means in theory the Wii will get used more if it's switched on but I agree that it's not much good for anyone who just owns a DSi and wants to download demo's. Personally I would like to see demo's appear on the DSi, like that Phantasy Star Zero demo that japan got, despite the game allready being out there. ><

Same, I recall much fun being had on Perfect Dark Zero in the desert, perched on top of the highest rock with a sniper rifle, just picking off nothing but bots. Bots have been around for ages, it wouldn't have been hard to implement them in this.

Definitely, that Horton bit was most pro.

Yeah the effort is there but I've never really liked her voice tbh, I just don't feel that the cover works that well at all but if it made a few people smile then that's good I guess, can't say it did anything for me though.

Good god... just no! I really didn't like it tbh :/ the original was a decent track, nothing amazing maybe but still, her style of singing on that cover just ruins a perfectly good track Imo. It probably doesn't help that I don't like her voice, I find it abrasive >> I can see why people who actually like her may see it as decent and yes shes clearly put a certain amount of effort into it but really it just doesn't work.

Heh thanks, I guess I wholey deserve that title and yeah I pretty much put it on anything that's edible... : peace: well anything that is savoury at least, Idk if I'd go as far as to pepper an ice cream or something, allthough... >>

Hehe nice one Bluey, you have done well, it must have been funny to hear her reaction as you read out the e-mail to her. I know you're not expecting it to change the outcome but I hope something positive comes out of all this for you. : peace:

Thanks Ine. And yeah I do tend to go a bit OTT with the pepper but I really like the stuff so it's all good. : peace:

I'd never say something like that though, reading up on things and then applying someone else's knowledge to a real-life situation is all well and good but it won't always work for everyone. I do however appreciate the advice in my case I think the friend 'line' was genuine and tbh she probably didn't even want me as a friend either, not outside of work anyway but the thought of friendship at least was nice while it lasted. For now I don't think I should be looking for love as such but if it finds me then that's fair enough, I probably don't even know what I'm talking about tbf but I don't think there is any right way or any hard and fast rules, just generalisations that are formed from peoples experiences. If one piece of applied advice works for one person though then that's great but it's subjective, not universal.

Time... skill points could be allocated based on how much of your time you 'kill' while working, as well as still gaining the usual monetary benefits of course.
-
Interesting point though, imagine if everything in life was based on 'skill points' or something similar... I'm actually undecided on whether this would be a good or bad thing though :p still...
-
Even if that's 'good' it still sounds pretty 'ouch!' to me, £750 just to be able to drive a car legally, and thats not factoring in the cost of petrol etc... sorry I'm probably not helping. But yeah it's all those costs plus failing twice plus not really needing to go anywhere much that means I've stuck with public transport; no matter how variable it can be, it still works out cheaper for me than driving would. But good for you Raining, because at least once you pass you'll have the freedom to drive anywhere when you want.
