Do console designs matter to you? (Is the N64 black, grey or charcoal?)
S.C.G replied to tapedeck's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yes but, click the number '39' that is next to that quote and then the site it got it from, then search for the word 'charcoal' on that page and you will get the quote that I just found. -

Just thought I'd add another quote I found... 'The standard Nintendo 64 comes in a dark grey color, often perceived as "black". Officially, it was known as "Charcoal Grey".' -

While searching for evidence of the original N64's colour my attention was diverted by this awesome case mod that I figured I should share... -

But but... Wikipedia says it's 'dark grey, nearly black' surely the very almost definition of charcoal? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_64 -

The Third Man A genuinely captivating film from start to finish, I admit that at first I didn't expect it to hold my attention but within the first few minutes I was drawn in; it's not the usual type of film that I would watch normally but after hearing nothing but good things about it I just 'had' to see it and now I'm glad to have experienced it because it's a quality piece of British cinema. 10/10

Thanks your SNES setup looks equally epic stallion, welcome to the forums, I'm sure you will fit in well here. : peace: -
Ah right, that is a shame in that case because I think a sequel or even a remake could work well on the Wii, such an underrated game.

Yeah, incorrect grammar pisses me off too... sorry it had to be done :P but yeah the incorrect spelling of 'dumb' is just the tip of the iceberg, there is even incorrect usage of the word 'there' in that very same paragraph alone - it should be they're - it's just a really unnecessary and OTT post. -

I have Burning Rangers got it a good few years back off eBay for about £30 or so, well worth it though as for Phantasy Star Online ep 1&2 I had an inkling that it might be worth a bit more one day, I have my old faithful original day of release bought GC copy in decent condition and a brand new sealed copy that I picked up for a tenner a few years back. -
So after completing Tooie 100% I've decided to go back to Nuts 'n Bolts but now I have rediscovered why I stopped playing it... I have a globe to unlock the world where the plinth is located behind a large round fence, the only way I can see of getting in is via the waterway underneath but when I try to get in that way L.O.G just says... 'your vehicle is ill-equipped to pass through there safely' My question is this, What am I supposed to do? am I right in thinking that it's actually something really simple like I need to do something elsewhere in the game first?

The camera control is fine, not the best but I find that you get used to it, as for raising Clanker you need to swim down right to the bottom - just follow the chain all the way down - and swim through the key three times, if you are low on air just grab some of Gloop's - the fish - bubbles.

Sega Multimega 32X For years I had always wanted to own this setup but alas when it was released I couldn't hope to ever have enough cash to purchase it, the Multimega became pretty rare too so it pretty much retained it's original RRP lol I was fortunate enough to find an unboxed one on eBay though significantly cheaper than the insane amounts boxed ones were going for. -
What about Burning Rangers? I would love a sequel or at least a remake / re-release of it. Also a Billy Hatcher sequel could be awesome, the original had a lot of good ideas in it, the controls would need to be vastly improved though.

Doshin the Giant? you could basically create your own landscape in that and destroy it of course. As for actual pre-made landscapes though, Termina Field in Majora's Mask is awesome, there isn't really another landscape quite like it.

Woot! 100% game completion get! I'm glad to have finally completed Banjo Tooie after all this time, it's still not as good as Banjo-Kazooie but I enjoyed it a lot... well apart from Grunty Industries of course but that's a level to be loathed. Anyways, yay. *edit* All achievements got as well. ^^

Pace is the trick... Go only fast enough to keep up with her, then near the end, power it as fast as you can to the end. For the second race however I did that one by hammering the X button for 5 seconds, pausing to recover and then rinse and repeat till the end.

That didn't bother me tbh, but what did was that in Banjo Tooie all the notes are in nests of five, basically sixteen of those and then the treble clef that is worth twenty... I preferred collecting the individual notes. :/

Regardless of if it's real or fabricated, it's still a grim reminder of some of the sick stuff that goes on in the world. :/
