Hmm the green could have turned out to be pretty nice but still, pink is good, I think it's one of those colours that looks really awesome on your hair plus the covering up of the previous attempted green, but still... orange eh? that sounds potentially good as well, depends what shade though I guess bright orange might have looked rather nice but I'm guessing it was significantly different to that.

Sony Walkman X Series NWZ-X1060 32GB OLED MP3 Player Very happy because I got this for a lot less than its RRP, it doesn't come with the headphones but I'm not too fussed because I have a better pair which I really like and will continue to serve me well with this player. It's unboxed but comes with all the other stuff and is apprently in excellent condition plus the seller has added in a pair of seinheisers to make up for the loss of the headphones that are supposed to come with it, bonus!

I agree with you on Walking After You I was listening to it on the way back from work and when hearing it in context with the rest of the album it's an excellent track. --------------------------------- Dan! thanks, I found Bjork to be really enjoyable on the whole, many of her albums are truly excellent electronica and well worth giving a go, so enjoy if / when you decide to give her a listen; I'm glad I did. --------------------------------------------------------------- So many CD's still to listen to *head explodes* I will get through them all though, despite ordering yet another today >.> Friendly Fires it was in the sale so I figured time to give them a proper listen.

You misunderstand me Flinky, I absolutely love Everlong but I love Fake Plastic Trees as well, when it comes down to which could win this competition though, I just think Fake Plastic Trees has more of a chance... Everlong is gonna go through now anyway and I'm fine with that but I reckon it'll get knocked out in the next round whereas I feel Fake Plastic Trees could have gone the distance, anyway I'm fine with either winning this match because I love them both I was just thinking ahead is all. No backlash from me GP both are brilliant songs in their own right, I know a lot of people find Radiohead depressing and that's fine but really I think both of them are beautiful tracks.

Trust me Cube... it's well worth it they are great games on their own but combined? they form what is easily one of - if not the - best Sonic games ever created.

If Retro are involved then truly I think it'll be for the good of the series there were comments by Miyamoto stating that he had wanted to originally make OOT from the first-person perspective so maybe that will happen this time around or at least in-part maybe for some of the combat? -

Fair enough... I can only hope that they try harder next time to create something more 'original' rather than just 'enjoyable'. -------------------------------------------------- In the meantime I'm not too fussed, as I have plenty of other albums to listen to I've finished listening to Bjork's main discography which I was very impressed with on the whole; I've started obtaining some of her earlier works too such as Gling-Glo and the four Sugarcubes albums but I'm gonna take a 'break' from her now and listen to Avenged Sevenfold who I've always liked - even saw them live once - but never checked out their entire discography so I'm gonna start by Sounding the Seventh Trumpet today.

Fine but when I'm hearing stuff like this... It kind of makes me wonder... anyway, I'd take the above comment with a very large pinch of salt because I know that while your taste in music on the whole is very decent Imo Dan, you're very dismissive about the albums that are anything less than five star quality - at least that's how it seems to me - deeming them "shit" for no real reason. But we have pretty different tastes in music on the whole, yes I have liked quite a lot of what you've recommended; Soundgarden, Simian Mobile Disco, Temple of the Dog... all quality but they still aren't my favourite artists of all time or anything. I know that Muse have fallen far since OOS - and yes Dyson maybe you're right and I do need to stop comparing each album to it but - but their albums since have still been enjoyable and I believe that The Resistance will be yet another of those enjoyable albums and I don't see what's wrong with that? Yes I want more from Muse because they are capable of far greater and we all know it but it's still far from mediocre surely? I'm sorry but that's purely hype, anyway I look forward to getting their new album, listening to it properly, hopefully not comparing it to OOS - *sigh* - enjoying it for what it is and moving on / anticipating their next whenever it comes along, I still think they should take a long break to rethink their style after this though.

Just been checking out some fan-made 2D Sonic games / remixes on YT some of them are actually pretty good, especially this one Sonic Megamix... Aside from the slightly off spritework and sometimes non-responsive collision detection it all looks reaosnably solid, love the boss bit... "K-O!"

I could maybe understand if it was genuinely after each sentence but if it's an exaggeration and she was just telling you that she loves you a few times each day then that sounds a bit cold of you to just dismiss it... But I don't know the circumstances so w/e just a shame when stuff like that happens.

Hmm I gave Better Days a listen when I saw it was imbedded in the news article anyway, I wasn't that impressed by it but it wasn't terrible either, just not you know 'amazing' anyway... This isn't so bad, it means that Florence, La Roux etc will try even harder for the prize next time and hopefully both produce stunning sophomore albums as for Speech Debelle who knows? could go either way after this. When Elbow won the Mercury Prize last year I was actually pretty happy because their earlier sophomore album was deserving of it I thought but would have never got a look in but now on their fourth album they became better known and while their fourth isn't their best I just view it as the prize is for their contribution to music overall because a lot of people will have maybe bought their latest album and checked out their better earlier albums anyway which are still pretty cheap on Play.com btw for anyone interested. --------------------------------------------------- I quite like that - presumably new - track from Modest Mouse I bought their last album and rather enjoyed it, I love the fact that the lead singer looks borderline insane in the live performance, because he always sounds it and that's most definitely a good thing.
