I almost forgot about this! and now it's almost out, nice... I liked what I heard, I'm glad that these three legends decided to form up, all three sound on top-form and it's good that Dave Grohl is devoting some time to this because honestly, I prefer this to the Foo's latest 'inbetween' song Wheels... Pre-Ordered!

Just checked my order status on Play.com... Hardened Edition - Packing Standard Edition - Packing Before anyone says anything, the standard edition is for my bro, also I got an e-mail regarding the Hardened Edition yesterday or something saying that it's going to be shipped by courier to ensure it isn't delayed, I still doubt that I'll be getting it early, esp if there is an embargo but it's nice to have it 'confirmed' for its day of release. IF it does arrive early though, I can still play it right? just not online I'm guessing... this isn't gonna be like Halo 3 all over again where there was some shit over people getting banned for playing it early or something daft IIRC lolol. Either way I'd better attempt to finish the first MW before this arrives! (yes I was one of the few that actually resisted it but now that I've got into the single player I rather like it)

I've literally only just started the 360 version of this and tbh I think it's better off on the platforms it was originally released on from a technical standpoint but from a control standpoint, there is something very appealing about playing an FPS with the Wii controller but in this instance I'm happy with the 360 pad and not having to sacrifice visuals etc. It's good that IW are giving Wii owners the chance to experience COD4 finally but shit lol a bit late? Plus the whole 'making a quick buck' thing, still could be good.

Oh don't worry, I wasn't the one complaining because I to know this, that's why I have all the Nirvana DLC there is to date if I ever get the urge to sing SLTS though it's nice to know I can on GH5 but even then I prefer Lithium which is also on there.

Exactly what I wanted to hear I've got that on Pre-order so I should have it soon, I've enjoyed everything they've done so far even though I don't listen to them quite as much now - I used to listen to Puzzle regularly when it came out - but yeah anyway awesome. ------------------------------------- Flavours of Entanglement is beautiful.

This... = how I felt a few weeks ago. While Jagged Little Pill is brilliant in its all-round rawness Alanis' other albums have a lot of songs that have an understated beauty to them at least that's what I've found from listening to them so far, I still have Flavours of Entanglement to listen to though I think I shall go and do that now.

They will have more track packs so those are still to come, plus don't forget that Smells Like Teen Spirit is in GH5 so Activision may have some exclusivity on that right now.

The Smiths because the track in question is simply a better song overall and I quite enjoyed it, I didn't enjoy the other track though, it sounded like an aural mess to me.

Sorry to hear about your cat Dan we lost one of our cats a few months back... it's never easy, esp when you know they are ill etc and it's gonna happen and they are a much-loved pet :/ getting another cat at some point down the line does help to a degree but they never replace the memories of the one before, each cat is unique in their own way - goes for all pets really - and I know you probably aren't even considering getting another cat yet but maybe give it some thought, it does help to a degree... ------------------------------------------------------ After not sleeping the night before, I went to bed at 6am-ish today and woke up around 12pm... self-sleep deprivation ftw! I know sleep is important etc but lately I feel the need to stay up well into the morning so... but I'm happy atm so... win I guess.

I fucking adore Alanis Morissette and though I have since hearing Jagged Little Pill back in the day, I can't believe its taken me this long to properly give her other albums a chance... Currently listening to Under Rug Swept and am thoroughly enjoying it.

Though I didn't vote for your choice this round I still appreciate the diversity of the tracks that you've added, but you're right in that it does come down to what peoples tastes are in the end, but if you truly love the tracks that you picked - and that goes for all who have participated - then that's all that really matters.

I can't help but wonder if this topic came about partially from my reply to Ell in the HWYD thread but anyway as I said before there isn't really such a thing as originality in people because pretty much everything we've done has been done before by someone else etc but uniqueness is different because everyone is unique in their own way, as for what makes me unique though? *Fuck knows... *Will post something if/as-and-when I think of it

Mhmm... Ten is the first album by Pearl Jam and it's indeed most excellent I'd put it up there/alongside Temple of the Dog personally because both are excellent in their own way.

So if Edge gave this 7/10 and ONM effectively gave it 10/10 - 96% is basically the same thing - then that in theory should mean it's an 8.5 game, because Edge while 'consistent' are also harsh and ONM will overhype anything that's made by the Big N because they are effectively 'told' what scores to give for stuff like that. Sounds like it's going to be a really enjoyable game then as long as people don't go into it expecting platforming on the same level as Super Mario World then I don't see what the problem is.
