That's why I only went for the two F4F statues that I really wanted, if I had a lot more money and a place of my own then I would likely buy a lot more of them but alas I'm still living at home. At the moment I'm currently in the process of having a clear-out and moving things around but when I next get a chance I'll take some pictures of the statues and try to round up the few Nintendo plushes/small figures that I have; your plush collection is very nice I reckon you and @ChloboShoka would get on well as I seem to recall that she has quite the plush collection as well. You're fine to post pictures of your collection, I wouldn't mind seeing a more recent picture if your setup too if you get around it. : peace:

I am. It would seem that I've built up quite a collection over the years of various bits and pieces, I do love the two First 4 Figures statues that I own which are Fierce Deity Link and Gravity Suit Samus Aran even though I didn't really have the space but I made room for those beauties!

I got my first purple last night... ...turned out to be for Warlock class. But at least it's stored for if/when I make a new character. : peace: Regarding invites, I just discovered yesterday that I had a load of invites on Thursday/Friday but didn't even realise as I had notifications turned off for invites - must have turned it off when I disabled 'this person has gone on-offline' notifications and the like - but they are back on now!

It's OK, yeah I joined up ran to where you both were and then thought to myself 'what have I just spawned into?' was pretty funny I'll try and get on earlier when I can, maybe even tonight, we'll see. Played a couple of missions with @yesteryeargames last night though which was fun, though I wasn't sure if I was intruding or not... I hope it was OK for me to join you last night, it was open so I thought I'd see if you wanted a bit of extra fire-power on your team but I wasn't sure if you were just wanting to solo or not. In any case it was nice to play a game with you, I think you had your headset on and I tried talking to you a few times, it's OK if you don't like talking on the headset much, that's fine but let me know if you want me to join your games again or not as I don't want to ruin anyone's experience of the game; I'm just in it to enjoy playing with people from this excellent community. : peace:

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys... I think. Anyway best to not be too hasty as I think I most likely have just misread things somewhat... It appears that she's already in a relationship so I'm just going to put all this down to me having practically zero social skills - really I feel socially inept at times - so it would seem that she's just being nice probably even though I thought there was something there which might be the case but I'm not about to attempt to do anything that would jeopardise someone's existing relationship as that's not me at all. However the positive side of this is that now that I've let someone from work in this could actually be good for improving my social situation at least or to put it another way... a lack of a conventional social life. So I'm still going to go along for a few drinks because I've still been invited after all which I'm really pleased about and I'm actually kind of starting to look forward to which is odd for me but I think this could be a step in the right direction by instead embracing having a work/social life integration that a lot of people seem to have but take for granted. We'll see what happens in any case as it will be interesting to see how I get on being that I've not done this sort of thing with anyone from work for some time. : peace:

So another late one last night on Destiny, @Sheikah and I were playing a bit of 3 Vs 3 for a good while, we were dominating too until about just before 3am I think, it was in the last hour that we kept getting paired against teams of unsporting 'hardcore' players who well and truly rinsed us. :p It wouldn't have been too bad but each time we seemed to get paired up with a third player who did next to nothing, getting killed the most but would then end up getting the best rewards at the results screen while we both received nothing. Honestly we had to laugh about it as there's not much else you can do... Was still untold amounts of fun though and I'll definitely be online again today but later on in the evening again. : peace:

So it would seem that some progress was made today... I was at work on my usual shift, I saw the lovely lady in question on my way back from my break, as she was on self service and I was on the main tills so we smile and greet each other in passing. Later on I get moved down to the basket till facing self-service so we get to make eye contact and speak to each other occasionally but not much until after she finishes her shift and comes to my till again! Turns out that she's buying stuff for her birthday so I find out when that is again - on the Wednesday - and I ask if she's still going for a drink on the Friday, she is - by this point I'm helping her pack her shopping and we both seem a little flustered - also on the subject of her birthday I ask if it's a milestone and she asks me to guess her age so I kind of say 'I don't know... I wouldn't like to say but...' then she tells me and it turns out that she's only a few years younger than me, I really thought she was a few years younger than that which I tell her, she seems pleased. Anyway things are winding up as she tells me specifics of where she'll be drinking, seems to be close to when I finish in any case so I say that I could come along for a couple of hours but again that it's been a while so I kind of verbally collapse at this point saying stuff like 'I could... give you my number, except I don't know it off-hand but' she replies 'do you have facebook?' I do so I say so but that I don't really use it much - I really don't - then she says 'send me a request on there' so I get a piece of till roll and she gives me her name/number... she gets her stuff, leaves and I wish her a good evening. So err yeah... I was pretty elated for the rest of my shift and I still am now as things like this don't usually go very well at all for me so I was pretty pleased even though I was so nervous, really, really nervous but I'm just happy at the moment but we'll see how things go. : peace: I've sent her a friend request so the waiting game begins.

That night was indeed epic! It seems that Crucible mode is the PVP section of the game from what I understand, basically it's - a bit - like Halo in that you have 6 Vs 6 deathmatches, team deathmatches, capture the base and all that, I only think you have to play a few missions before it's unlocked or maybe it's there from that start? Either way, eet's good fun!

I'd just like to say a big thank you to @Phube, @RedShell, @VsPhoenix, @f00had for generously offering me a spare Super Smash Bros Special Demo code. I have redeemed Red's as it was already in the PM and I would like to pass on the code VsPhoenix gave me to my younger brother if that's OK with you? Thanks for yet another amazing night on Destiny. Joined up with @Cookyman for a patrol mission where we were doing quests for a bit then was just about to give up when we got a Public event which we ended up breezing through. Then it was gone 1am but I decided to stay on, ended up doing a few missions with @Sheikah and @Zell where we faced off against 'the tank' a few times with only our weapons before realising that the provided vehicles with turrets seemed to be the better way to go. Also those last two quests were nothing short of epic, especially seeing as that last one was unplanned but then kept us gaming for another good hour, good times were had. : peace:

Amazon is £31.85 but I'm getting it on ShopTo for £30.26 which may only be £1.59 cheaper but each purchase counts towards me keeping my gold member status so I might as well just stick with it. I'm sure the DLC bundle won't be much more than £2.99 per pack or a bundle with all three sets priced at £7.49 when it's all eventually released. : peace:

Sticking with ShopTo, buying all the costumes as dlc at a later date. It will still work out cheaper than buying a physical copy from GAME.

Thanks for tonight guys, another amazing night starting with decimation which then turned to elation as we were getting slaughtered in PVP but we turned the tide around, then ending with around two hours of story missions with Jimbob and Flink. Dat tank! The big purple eyyyyye! And of course the Captains! Oh my... the Captains! But we persevered, triumphed and conquered! (after dying a lot) Eeet was good! : peace:

I'm not sure if it would be just us two, there will probably be others there too but still she did bring it up in conversation so you may be right, it's not for a week though so I will see how things go over the next few days, will try talking with her if I get the chance, besides the fact that I'm not even too familiar with her name because I'm better with faces but she really does seem nice though, she's quite new there too and because its work we usually have name badges but I don't think she has one yet. Definitely would just stick to the pubs I think, clubs aren't my scene at all, far too loud and the music is always abysmal. Not too concerned about the age gap though I did try and ascertain how old she was as I was going to ask if it was a milestone - the birthday - thinking maybe 21st? But in any case we shall see, I'd be a little apprehensive about going out as I know a lot of other people from work will probably be doing the same but it is the way of things I suppose and it might do me good as in the nearly 9 years that I've been working there I've never actually been out on the town with anyone from work... ever, so I guess it wouldn't hurt to be a bit more sociable for me even if it's not my thing. : peace: She might be open to doing something else for her birthday, it didn't sound like these plans were set in stone, I wouldn't be sure what to suggest though so will just play this by ear.

Update time I guess... Dating site - the woman who I was interested in hasn't been on the site since I last reported here so I'm going to assume that things went well on her second meeting/date with that other guy. There's no one else on the site that I'm currently genuinely interested in. Work - I think I've just been asked out indirectly for drinks a week tomorrow by a work colleague, she was working on the till opposite me, unlocked my security detagger before she finished her shift which I thought was kind, then it seems she did some shopping as she came to my till so we got talking and it seems she gets Fridays off - I don't as I work until after 9PM - and that her birthday is a week on Friday. So she mentioned that she'd probably be going for drinks in town and that I'd be welcome to come along, I said that I'm working until late but that I might come along - basically we'll see - I mentioned that I hadn't been out in the town for a long time - as it's not really my thing - but I'm thinking maybe it could be good? I mean I have work on the Saturday as well at midday, the last bus home would be midnight so I could 'make the effort' and go down town for a couple of hours maybe? See how things go... maybe she's just being nice I don't know but I get the impression that she might actually want me to go, its just kind of thrown me in a good way because I didn't expect it as she's presumably a few years younger than me though a lot of people at work have said that I do look a lot younger than 29 so perhaps its finally working in my favour, I don't know... all I know is that I kind of blushed when she asked me. Anyway, forget this incoherent rambling, what do you think N-E?

Thanks for an amazing evening of gaming tonight everyone, its been a huge amount of fun partaking in missions, hanging out at the tower and to top it all off team N-E dominated in a series of legendary PVP matches. I was initially unsure of my pre-order, but now I'm reassured that Destiny is worth every penny. : peace:
