I had to make a platform for my PS4 out of plastic storage cases so that the power wire had enough clearance so that it wasn't squashed against the back of the unit I had it on - I ended up having to swap the lead that comes with it for a better one too - but that's how I solved my issue with it anyway. : peace:

Is there maintenance at the moment? I've just gotten on my Wii U to play a bit of Hyrule Warriors and have noticed that none of the online services are working as it's prompting me to read the latest Nintendo network agreement but then doesn't seem to be showing me where it is, I'm a bit perplexed as I don't recall this happening before. Well I've found the agreement but it can't connect to let me read it, oh joy! Ah maintenance it is then, oh well.

I thought it was just another decent and enjoyable episode. : peace: I never really expect that much from Dr. Who so each week I'm rarely disappointed as it's just pure entertainment to me, nothing more.

If anyone wants to play this at some point over the weekend let me know, I haven't played for a few nights as I'm level 20 and I don't seem to be getting the drops I need to progress as I haven't had a single legendary yet never mind and Exotic! So yeah, I'd probably be up for playing for a bit one evening - I don't finish work until quite late tonight and Saturday though - perhaps even Sunday afternoon, we'll see... whatever level, don't mind but I guess anyone who's around level 20 or even if you're under level 20 and just want to play a few missions then give me a shout and we'll see if we can get some missions together. : peace: Otherwise I'll just be online and you'll find me playing PvP matches endlessly.

My god... seeing that video above of F-Zero GX and then realising that no matter how good FAST: Racing Neo turns out to be, it will never be able to match the game which redefined anti-gravity racing after establishing the genre a few generations before. : peace: But still I hope it turns out to be a decent step-up from the original which in itself was pretty decent all things considered, even if it isn't F-Zero. Take note Nintendo, this is what happens when you ignore a large portion of your fanbase, yes the F-Zero mini-game in Nintendoland was entertaining plus the Blue Falcon and Mute City track as dlc for Mario Kart 8 is amusing, might even turn out to be good but come on! People's enthusiasm for this - well more when we get proper screens/footage - clearly shows that the market is still there for fast-paced anti-gravity racing - MK can never compete speed-wise - so when this comes out, turns out to be the 'next best thing' and sells like hotcakes I sincerely hope that you have a rethink about Captain Falcon's future I really do. Another generation without a proper F-Zero game or at the very least a HD port of F-Zero GX is unthinkable!

I completely forgot the 2DS existed until I saw news of this, good move from Nintendo with the transparency, I still have my old transparent GBA, used to love that thing as I had it from launch day, the shape of it was so comfortable. *checks* Yes its still got my original copy of Advance Wars seemingly welded into the cartridge slot. 'Dem memories! : peace:

I finally got past the stage I was stuck on and yes I'm stubborn so I stuck with my tactic and won! Took a fair few attempts but it was worth it.

Meh, well all was going well until...

I should be back on this tonight after not playing for two days! I'm only around lvl 21 though from what I can recall, need to get levelled up I guess.

I'm in two minds, because while they are nicely done there is still no way that Sonic or Animal Crossing really gels with Monster Hunter, at least the Link costume seemed to be more in keeping but this really isn't. However so long as it's in the game, free and entirely optional then I'm cool with it. : peace:

So here we are, Sunday afternoon, got all my pre-order dlc downloaded/installed and I've paid for the season pass so now I'm ready to really play this properly for a bit. I can't wait because I just know this is going to be one of those games that's all the more sweeter the second time you play it! Also, dat title screen music! The arrangement is so good!

I enjoyed it too for what it's worth. Another good episode. Warmed to the new Doctor even more as well, though I already felt Peter Capaldi to be a great choice anyway.

So I went down there straight from work - had a change of clothes with me - and I found the pub which they were all at, got a drink and then had a look around, it didn't take long before I found her so then she introduced me to all of her friends - turns out one of them I know from school oddly enough - and we all were just having a good time. She looked lovely as usual - though really different from how she is at work which I like - we seemed to get along really well, I soon found out that I was in pretty good company as most of them seem to be self-confessed geeks like myself which is good, she liked the card that I made her - a fire-flower pixel card because I like making them - and the small gift I got her so that was nice. Also I could be wrong but I'm sure I could see two of her friends whispering amongst themselves as they seemed to be checking me out which is really unusual for me but it certainly gave me a confidence boost, her friends are also lovely too. I then got her a drink and bought another for myself, things seemed to go pretty well until the fourth pub where I was completely drunk - after I'd said to myself that I wouldn't but meh... - and I ended up having to get a lift home plus today I endured a really long shift at work but I got through it somehow. Overall I'm very glad that I went along as I think it may have been just what I needed, pure random social interaction, it was great and I'd do it again in a heartbeat, just not with the same amount of alcohol next time. : peace:

Well last night was good, feeling a bit worse for wear now though - I can type again at least - but it was worth it. It was nice getting to know her and she has a really nice group of friends too. Now for work though, wish me luck, its going to be a long shift.

So I've got to leave for work in about an hour, going for these birthday drinks after work with the girl who's birthday it is/was recently, few people from work and presumably quite a few of her friends. Any advice?

Just played this for a couple of hours, really enjoyable, loving all of the small touches etc but I can see that this is going to be best played for me in small bursts each night so I'm leaving it there after only two missions but I am enjoying it. : peace: Will sort out all the dlc within the next day or two and will most likely play a bit more on Sunday, so far though I'm just pleased to have another retail game that I can play on my Wii U regularly.

I took The Peeps comment to be more towards the '#smashingnicelookingbirds' stuff rather than a general attack - I think? - it's all meant in generally good fun/spirits anyway so it's fine. : peace: Honestly I'm just happy to get any reasonable advice about socialising that I can, sometimes that means filtering through the odd jibe or two which is fine, it's a small price to pay plus we've all got to have a bit of a laugh at certain aspects of life, it would be truly miserable otherwise. #Life'sAGamePlayItOrBePLayedByIt *sigh* everyone happy now? It's a fair point, I try not to build my hopes up too much about anything these days, I always try to keep my expectations of people in check but sometimes it's easy to mis-read things but in my case at least this is an opportunity to get out there a bit and socialise for once rather than just remaining locked away all the time which I've tended to lean towards. I'm actually looking forward to going out for a couple of hours after work, I know that I'm going to look a bit silly and out of place being that it's the first time in ages that I've actually properly been out so I'll barely have a clue but at least I'll be turning up which has got to stand for something, plus there will be people there who I know at least from work so it shouldn't be that bad at all. : peace: It might even be dare I say it... fun but I'm going to keep my expectations very low indeed so that it'll be a pleasant surprise if it doesn't turn into a total disaster.
