Cheers to @Map and @somme for the games earlier, it was a really enjoyable first multiplayer session on the game for me.

It comes up in the bottom right-hand corner whenever the 'mic' registers noise. -edit- Turns out it's the PS4 camera! No way to turn it off short of unplugging it apparently, it's OK though as if I turn the headset on then that overrides it. At least now I know though. :p

The headphones are off though, that's why I don't quite understand why the mic symbol would be reacting as if it's picking up sound.

Destiny is great 'n all but one thing is bothering me... the mic symbol, it seems to be picking up sound because it looks like its transmitting every time I make the slightest sound yet I have no mic connected? I didn't think that the PS4 pad would work as a mic with no headset but that seems to be what the game is implying.

Must have been a one-off, it happened in the middle of a mission thought I was pleased to find that I was able to get right back into it almost exactly where I left off which is excellent.

Correct, but for big game launches they will usually notify you ahead of time. So long as you have your card details on there and there is money in your account you will be charged when they ship the game. If you do opt to pay early though, you can pay/part pay with Paypal which can be useful.

Day 1 if we get it, they should do an extra special bundle of everything there plus the special edition New 3DS XL too.

I own both a Wii U and a PS4 because they both offer very different games which are all brilliant in their own way. Both machines have their positive and negative points. I don't mind debating the lack of games, online etc for either machine but currently they are both getting good games this year and even more amazing titles next year. Can't we just enjoy the games that are just on the horizon for now without obsessing over every detail? : peace:

Heed the wise words of @Glen\-i for I too have experienced the true horror that is Super Mario Ball first hand and it is truly awful, so you can bet that no eShop funds will be wasted on such vileness when I come to review it. I'd probably even hesitate to download it for free if we get a code for it, indeed it would be sods law for Nintendo to suddenly decide 'Oh here have this on us!' for the one week that such a trashy game is released and then go back to forgetting we exist again. In fairness though I am playing catch-up but this has been going on for a long time so I just buy the games that I actually want in my collection, in any case I seem to have played all the truly terrible titles in the past by coincidence so no need to suffer them again. Currently playing Fire Emblem which incidentally I never got to play the first time - only ever purchased Sacred Stones on the GBA - and I'm loving every minute! : peace:

So if I want to join the N-Europe clan for Destiny, I need to install the game, play it, sign up to an external website and THEN I can join? Am I missing something... you can't just join via the game? Or is it one of those stat-tracking websites which works as a companion to the game which you have to rely on for certain aspects of it?

Mine should arrive tomorrow morning... ...this will be the first time I've received a coaster in the mail since the last time we were sent those AOL trial disks.

I would have to say that the definitions are different... Kirby = Graphics made to look like clay The Swapper = Clay assets put into a game That's the clear difference right there. Both are impressive in their own right but by definition Kirby still has some of the most realistic clay graphics in a game. : peace:

Personally it sounds too fiddly to be assigning attacks to the 'c-stick' on the New 3DS because the thing is too small for that kind of quick reaction needed - from what I've seen in images/videos anyway - so I'd just rather perform the full moves with buttons. Who knows though, perhaps it will be something that I'll use when I actually buy a New 3DS, we shall see. : peace:

Ah I understand now, it's more that this is 'the thin end of the wedge' in the long-term which will eventually 'force' more people to upgrade. Both a clever and sneaky move from Nintendo, I'm still going to buy one though in any case but I can see a lot of people getting annoyed if there is any actual game content that gets locked to New 3DS only in the future. Also knowing that Super Smash Bros could be classed as technically 'incomplete' for several months until the new machines comes out is annoying too, thankfully the Wii U version will be out by then though, here's hoping Nintendo don't announce a gamepad redesign between now and then! :p

I fail to understand the uproar here, what will the c-stick be used for in-game anyway? I assumed it was just for moving the camera around when the game is paused or to look at trophies. Oh nevermind, just read about the smash attack thing, surely it's better to have those assigned to buttons though? :p
