So how many hunting hours have you managed to rack up so far Hero? I'm going to guess about sixteen... maybe? More importantly I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying it! I do have a question for you though regarding the crafting... While I understand that you now need a certain amount of Ore in order to unlock further crafting upgrades to your weapons, you'll still need to get certain items from the monsters in order to make the weapons I take it? The whole experience just wouldn't be the same if you didn't need to grind for that one Lagiacrus Plate for instance. :p Also, being that this is a 'Best of...' Monster Hunter which features areas from previous games, I take it that at least one location from Monster Hunter Tri/3 Ultimate must be in there yet... there is no swimming in this game - we've known this for a while - so did they just empty out the ocean and fill it in with dirt? Essentially what I'm asking is... what has become of area 10 in the Deserted Island map? It's going to bug me until I get the game otherwise... it's the small things. Anyway, thanks for posting your impressions in any case. : peace:

SG ProPad Sega Saturn 3D Controller Sega Dreamcast Arcade Stick Hori N64 pad Nintendo Wavebird Wii Super NES Classic Controller Xbox 360 Fightpad Dualshock 4 No reasons given, these are just the control pads I actually enjoy using. Most of them are great pads and should be self-explantory... ...One or two of them are purely my strange preference.

This is the one I bought... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-SATA-Compatible-Internal-Drive/dp/B00I8O6OQ4?ie=UTF8&ref_=pe_385721_51767431_TE_dp_1 It's about £10 cheaper than when I bought it as well, easy to install, no problems, the hardest part was taking the drive bay cover off as it feels so bloody flimsy. :p You've reminded me though, I should get a USB caddy so I can get some of the data off the old drive which I didn't back up - I got all my saves, it's just things like P.T which is no longer available - then I may choose to use the 500GB drive as extra space on my PC at a later date.

Fantastic news! Also, it's well worth checking out the article on Reddit for the comments alone.

That was nearly ten years ago! Suddenly I feel that much older, also that probably means I haven't played Dig Dug in a while so it has got to be time to go back to it.

I seem to remember that at least on the 360 version - so possibly the PS3 version as well - that the award for digging every piece of dirt in a stage is glitched... I have a feeling that I attempted that one for a while, thought I'd achieved it - there was nothing left on the screen aside from the moving sprites - but alas, no award. http://www.xboxachievements.com/game/dig-dug/achievement/363-Dig.html Reading that achievement guide it seems you have to traverse the entire screen, so even after you've dug all the dirt, apparently you need to go around the outside edge of the screen counter-clockwise and clockwise and then die on that stage... it'd be best to leave just one Pooka instead of the Dragon chasing after you for obvious reasons. So if one of the trophies is that one then just beware and best of luck! : peace: Also, I've just realised these are actual PS4 versions of these arcade games so they may well have fixed the glitch... I may well buy these in the sale, I have until 12/07/16 I believe?

This in turn raises an interesting question... Once you have the full range of Eevee required for all of its evolutions, where do you get all of the elemental stones from? Is it a case of... go to store, make an in-app purchase of £3.99 per stone? :p I'm just curious, as I'm aware that you need to buy some stuff if you want to make some progress or at least that's how I assume it to be, I was just wondering how much has been locked to in-app purchases.

Yooka-Laylee socks! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/964197146/bryt-socks-20-the-ultimate-colorful-socks?ref=user_menu Some super-early bird prices still available, I went for six pairs though you will need to choose at least four different designs with that tier, still that's two pairs of limited edition Yooka-Laylee socks for... not that much at all.

Seems I already bought it last year, a great deal for anyone who doesn't have it yet though. Tesco have their two game pre-orders for £80 deal back on, you have to pay for the games in advance but still... works out cheaper than some places, I just ordered Horizon Zero Dawn and No Man's Sky, got the both of them for £64 in the end thanks to 20% staff discount this week only.
