Almost yeah. FPS is the biggest genre currently, Nintendo should want to be represented in that by something other than Red Steel. I'd love to see Nintendo/second party's take on the genre. They should by no means use Metroid for it though.

Yeah, being on a Nintendo community forum does make you an authority about Nintendo's internal distribution organisation. You have no idea how stuff like that is decided, you just assume you do.

Second one seems like an awesome deal. That system is really cheap. Can you give linkage?

National Treasure 2 Real over the top story, but some good humour and nice action. Pretty much the definition of good entertainment. 8.0/10

Yeah, that's the only reasonable song they made. The rest of the songs are just half-assed Coldplay/U2 ripoffs with a hollow voice and too little content.

Hopes And Fears by Keane. I now hate them with a passion.

Thing is no-one really slates the 360 as it is really awesome, but it's so annoying that anytime something goes bad on Wii, it gets compared to how great everything is on 360, while the machines try to accomplish something very different. I didn't slate these people for disliking Pay & Play, I don't like paying either... I slated them for pretending to have an opinion about something they knew they were uninformed about. Nintendo should be clearer though. I doubt this is required to play Animal Crossing, as it will reduce the game's popularity. I doubt it would be a smart business choice to do that. FFS, not only is this totally off topic, but how many times have I pointed out that all the things you hate them for is not NoE's fault? This, again, is having an opinion about something when you have no clue what's going on.

When will developers/publishers treat Wii with respect?
DCK replied to dazzybee's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Laziness isn't an issue in the business world. Companies use this 'reason' to cover up lack of time and technical challenges. Apparently it's more difficult and rescource consuming to program for Nintendo Wi-Fi than it is to program for Xbox Live and PSN. This is Nintendo's fault, as their online services are underdeveloped compared to the competition. Doubt they really disrespect the machine now (respect is really not the right word in this context, but I see what you mean), but they certainly did so in the past. Now the Wii is shown to have more than a viable market, this attitude should change. Good games take more than two years to develop though. -
I don't think there's any of the two that will win, because they aren't competing each other. At least not in the way BD competed against HD DVD. These 'formats' can probably coexist succesfully. Online downloads will take a few more years though.

No way! Dylan's All Along The Watchtower has so much more power in it than Hendrix's version. That said, Hendrix' version is great. Dylan's version is just probably his best song, next to Blowin' In The Wind, and one of my personal favourites. Also, Jeff Buckley. Just heard the Foo Fighters' cover of Keep the Car Running, but Arcade Fire does it better.

Just because it's on the internet doesn't mean it's any more acceptable... It didn't use to be this way on N-E not too long ago Just because the reaction is similar everywhere doesn't mean it's justified. I guess it's the internet, indeed. That would've helped yeah. But still, the current announcement doesn't deserve the reaction it's getting at all.

Everyone is entitled an opinion, but this isn't about opinions, this is about getting your facts right. The NoE apoligation thread was exactly the same, people spitting out their crap about something they don't understand, yet still think they can flame all they want in their ignorance. This is not something that you can have an opinion about, because you don't know what it is! All I do know is that all this criticising is simply unfounded jumping to conclusions, and that annoys me to no end, as it's not the first time this is happening. All the things we do know are pointing in a positive direction, but there's a collective hate against Nintendo growing here that is just unfair. I hate it when people try to justify ignorance with freedom of speech.

Doesn't the shop offer build services? I'd always have it done for me, even though I probably could put it all together, simply because I don't mind paying for someone else potentially breaking my stuff instead of me. If you're inexperienced with it, I'd really recommend it. Most shops ask for a pound or 20/30.

Because it's out twice as long it has a 60% higher attach rate? I freaking hate all the hate in this thread. Nintendo is improving here, yet it's "I'm not paying", and "It's not good enough". Shut your whining! It's entirely optional and better than it used to be, even Nintendo improving is getting buckets with shit.

No. No. Didn't. I'd try space cake, I hate smoking. No. Beer? (kidding ) Guess I'm a bad stereotype. (Soft) Drugs just aren't as cool here as in the countries they are properly illegal.

I've just finished the first Bowser level and I can say that this planet thing really redefines all of it. It just keeps exciting you, I don't see how you could find it boring. All this easiness is not necessarily bad, as it makes the game flow incredibly well. And I usually like a proper challenge.

Before you start shooting Nintendo, I suggest you wait until the details of this thing are unfolded. Too much hate here. Sounds to me they're opening up possibilities for paying online, like XBL Marketplace and MMOs. I seriously doubt this'll affect online play, it's against the Wii philosophy (and Nintendo's in general).

Replace the 8600GT in Strider's setup with a Radeon HD 3850, add case/DVD/whatever you need, and you're good. You could consider a slightly faster CPU and a more expensive/reliable PSU, but it's not really necessary. Asking for a 3 GHz CPU is way too much for your budget - 2.2/2.4 GHz is more than enough. These Core 2 Duos can do a lot more than the old Pentium 4s that ran above 3 GHz. With the Radeon, it'll run every game that is not Crysis on highest settings, and will be great value. Also, if you don't have one yet, I'd recommend setting apart some budget or save up for a nice 19" LCD screen. If you're still on CRT, it'll be a huge improvement.

This thread just shows how uninformed people are. NoE cannot be held responsible for all 'fuckups' mentioned here. Nintendo as a whole makes its product strategy. You should be kicking NoJ if any.
-
What's this collective Wiimote dislike here? Excite Truck had some of the best racing controls I've ever experienced, and this game will feature a similar setup.

Come on, the gaming world is no high school, they have their reasons. It's probably something to do with game supplies, localisation, and not straining Wii supplies to much.

As good as Galaxy looks, it doesn't possibly hold ground against Ratchet and Clank. It's brute force really. That's really not the point, but you're right to some extent. Bad excuse for low detail, however. It's not an OR scenario, it's an AND scenario. R&C games have been top-notch platformers throughout, and it's not looking to be changing - the graphics are awesome and the gameplay will be enjoyable. Nintendo should have even better rescources than the R&C team, so that's not much of an excuse really. It's probably an economics change, or technical sacrifice for online mode (lower detail <=> easier online implementation) but then the people complaining have some right to complain. The graphics look fairly okay though, the vids we've seen look quite good. DS no doubt, but I played Double Dash and SMK the most.

Well done total destruction of an artist without resorting to attacking the poster. That owned (Never thought I'd say that). Having said that, I haven't listened much Oasis, but I quite like "Wonderwall"...

No he's not. The point of discussion was whether cartoony graphics couldn't get much better in general, as if MKWii is maxing out cartoony graphics. Ratchet and Clank proves there's a lot to improve.
