Gametrailers have 7 minutes of new Gameplay up which I thought looked fun... http://www.gametrailers.com/videos/bvv5ad/destiny-devil-s-lair-gameplay

Tbf though... the only Kirby game I've played really is Kirby's Dreamland 2 but I can't remember it being a total cake walk. Was it? (not sure I completed it)... because it could have just been that I was younger and was just enjoying spending time with the game and finding all the secrets that I remember it being more challenging than it was. Or have Kirby games just got easier and easier over the years? I have to say watching the video reviews, the last of challenge everything puts up does seem a bit pointless.

Oh yeah absolutely he'd be my first choice, but he was No.1 in the Gametrailers video so didn't mention him myself. Not only is he the best tree but that has to be one of the best starts to a game ever!

Oh I think it's a fun addition for Mario Kart too!... just one that seems to weaken F-Zero even more. Now F-Zero is 'more anti-gravity' within Nintendo and one that didn't have the pulling power of Mario Kart to begin with. But yeah, it is what it is, this will be great and F-Zero is just kind of lost/not even close to being a priority. I'd take and love that GX HD online remake too! Or an HD online remake of F-Zero X

It somewhat saddens me that this borrows F-Zero's anti-gravity and track design elements that would otherwise feel at home in that series such as 90 degree hairpins and inverted sections. It just feels like the two series have been merged and F-Zero has been phased out. The hang gliders, bikes and underwater sections have been retained from previous Mario Karts, there's nothing to say anti-gravity sections aren't here to stay in the series too. They say they won't do a new F-Zero because they can't think of the next 'gimmick', well is this the gimmick Mario Kart needed? It's Mario Kart... would anyone really have said anything if Karts had driven sideways/upside-down on tracks normally. So excited for this game, but I just don't understand what's happening with F-Zero as a series.

New Nintendo related Pach-Attack... Time to invest in Nintendo? http://www.gametrailers.com/videos/q0cyv3/pach-attack--time-to-invest-in-nintendo-

Surely Hyrule Warriors is meant to fill that gap. With Smash now filling the 'Winter' release, and probably a surprise other franchise to launch in November, I don't think we'll see be seeing Zelda until May 2015 at the earliest. Zelda should always be a Christmas release though.
-
Ah ok then that's good! @Serebii, they confirmed it was coming this year? the game?... or it's showing at E3?
-
I'm really not sure I can see Zelda being ready to show. If anything I think we might get a repeat of 2004, and a trailer will be shown cobbled together of whatever assets they have lying around they're working on just to show something Zelda, but the end product will be vastly different as development continues. I can't see it coming out before Christmas 2015.

I am curious as to how the rest of the game will go. We've just seen this level so, what happens and where do you go once you go out through the airlock?... I liked seeing how they basically 'drop' the Alien into that level halfway through, and then it's just set loose.
-
LOL at Mewtwo :p ... actually no I wouldn't laugh at that, scary ass floating cat! That's crazy! As cool as a 3 meter high Turtle with canons strapped to it's back would be, it's not Pokemon :p I'm surprised any fans would want that approach. Likewise cartoon Pokemon in a realistic world would be jarring too. Some sort of cel-shaded/anime style overworld would be glorious however. And is something I'd like to see Nintendo take on either with Pokemon or a Wind Waker sequel. To copy the style in Ni No Kuni would be a bit of a shame (really Nintebdo should have got to that first), but actually Skyward Sword maybe wasn't too far away
-
@Serebii I'm not sure anyone expects Pokemon to have realistic/Skyrim graphics do they??
-
You'll certainly be shitting them when you see the Alien! Then you can build as big a wall as you want.
-
Calling it overpriced is not arguing :p
-
Cool to see Child of Light sitting at No.2 on Shopto's pre-order chart as well. Encouraging for more of this type of game.
-
One for @Fierce_LiNk especially,
-
@Blade, what with this and your recent Xenoblade revelations, I think it's best you don't think about those sort of things :p
-
Dude I've already said I'm excited for Mario Kart, but the price of the console is wrong. The rest I'd probably pick up, but I'm not rushing out to buy the console for any of them. You think many, many, many people will buy it for Mario Kart at £250?... care to put a number to it?
-
Who will buy it?I'm a big Nintendo fan and I'm not buying it.
-
I have to say that after my experience with Brawl, my anticipation for Smash Wii is really low... I'm not really that interested in it atm. I wish I knew what other big plans they had for the console. E3 can't come soon enough.
-
It is a nice one unfortunately it looks better with the jacket on too! Yoshi's arm is weird to see like that...
-
I was just about to post that one! SUCH a great level! Coming back to it in different seasons and seeing how it's all changed, meeting new characters, characters growing up, doing different tasks... I need to buy and replay Banjo Kazooie sometime!
-
I think it will more so because Mario Kart is the 'go to' Nintendo title for the casual audience. It's certainly the closest I'm coming to picking up a Wii U, and if I had the money and the price was a little more attractive (because there's not a whole load of other must haves for me on the system), then I probably would.
