  1. Pretty much where I stand on it. Looking forward to it. Will be gutted if we don't hear anything on it at E3. So far awaaaaay, though.
  2. I've had some issues with my left knee and so I've been going easy with it. I feel like I'm more or less back to how it was before my troubles. Yaaay. Not really sure what it was, maybe overuse or just repetitive movements or something.
  3. I don't actually have a problem with the logo, although it's more befitting as part of a "Respect" campaign or something to that extent. It's a good tribute type of logo, but it doesn't really work as part of a club's emblem. So, what do we think of VAR, so far? SO VAR? Ahahahaha. Lots of people appear to be divided on it following the Liverpool match yesterday.
  4. I used to keep boxes for a lot of things, like consoles. Over the last few years, I've started to develop a "de-clutter" mindset and do wonder why we keep this sorta stuff. It's usually a sentimental sort of reason. I remember I kept the N64 box in my bedroom cupboard back home in Wales and every time I looked at that box, I remembered the day I bought it. But, when I look at it, I realise that it's just a box and it just takes up way too much space. These days, I prefer to buy games digitally, steam music and tv and don't really enjoy collecting physical media. It just takes up waaaay too much space. If we keep all of the old stuff, there's not going to be enough room for new memories. I think that's the crux of it. Getting rid of the box doesn't mean you're letting go of the memory. The memory will always be there, somewhere. So, it's a good thing. Hard to do and sad, but ultimately it's good. We're sifting through stuff at the moment and are kinda in the same situation.
  5. Legend of a man and really sad news to hear that he had passed away. The interview the other day with Dion Dublin in tears just shows you how big an impact that he has had on the sport and on black people. A true pioneer and a legend. RIP. I'm mixed about Mkhitaryan. I wasn't that excited when he had signed as I wasn't sure where he'd play and I'm not really disappointed or gutted or happy that he's leaving. He's been one of our most inconsistent performers in recent years and has put in some shocking performances this season, even when Mourinho stuck with him and kept playing him despite his form being terrible. Couldn't cross the ball, no real end product at times, wasn't particularly hard working, didn't link up well with the players and didn't offer much to the team. He started off the season well and then just seemed to get worse with each performance.
  6. Thanks for all of the birthday wishes, everyone. I've had a lovely time. Went out for food at my favourite Indian restaurant on Saturday with @Eenuh and some friends. Then, spent the rest of the day/evening hanging out with them. I had a great time at work before then going out for pizza on my actual birthday. Tonight, some work people and I went out for post-birthday drinks and food. Feel like I've eaten so much this week! Ine has bought me some more weights (woooooo!) and aftershave (wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!) Some of my new favourite smells. On top of that, I've been looking at electronic drumkits and have just ordered one. This will be my first kit in over a decade. Really excited! So...it's been pretty great.
  7. That's true, but we've been pretty negative in our attitude towards the teams in the upper end of the table. I love it when teams press high up the pitch and stop the opposition from having time on the ball. Liverpool did that really well today.
  8. What a fantastic football match. Part of me did want City to get the equaliser just to see all those Liverpool tears, but I'm still glad that City lost. Crazy game. More of this, please. I wish United would hustle and play with the same intensity that Liverpool played with today.
  9. But by demeaning these countries, he's belittling the people who live there. I would class it as racist as he's using derogatory remarks to "put down" these people. There's an excellent quote here that I completely agree with:
  10. So...what do we make of the latest stuff regarding his comments about "shithole countries"? On a humorous note, it's unbelievable how many times I've heard the word shit on the news in the last week. It just doesn't feel like real life, but as if we're in an episode of South Park.
  11. I'm feeling this a bit, at the moment. Whilst the weight I was moving was by no means impressive, I just think of what I could do before and what I'm doing now and it's mindblowing. Almost a "how the bluddy hell did I do that?!" moment. Definitely going to be getting back into a more consistent routine. Although it's probably a lot better than the average person who doesn't exercise or rarely does it or maybe visits a gym once a week, it's still not what I want it to be.
  12. Never played the game and am on the lookout for a racer, so...there is potential there. I have been looking at GTSport, but not sure if that's the sort of racer I'm looking for. Seems to be a bit of a shortage of racing games out there, or at least variation. Why are there so many different options for first person shooters (including variation in genres) but such a shortage with racers. There's Forza and Mario Kart and very little in between.
  13. Make sure you keep on sidequesting! The sides are just as fantastic as the main storyline. Which markers have you turned off? I'm interested in doing that when I play the game the second time around. Interested to see how it alters the way I approach the game. I put hundreds of hours into it...looking forward to doing all of that again.
  14. So, Dark Souls Remastered is coming soon. We own DSIII, but I haven't got around to playing it. @Eenuh has and she loved it. Tempted to get the remastered game when it's out and then play through that, 2 and 3 to experience the lot. Orrrr...I may just play Bloodborne again.
  15. Really, reaaaally jealous that you're playing this right now. My favourite game of all time. I'm going to replay this plus expansions during the summer. Cannot fucking wait! Blood and Wine is just fantastic. Love the region and the feeling of being in that area...I might just freeze myself until the summer comes.
  16. About time we had the 2018 edition of this. What is everyone's goals for this brand new year? I've bought my first ever pair of weightlifting shoes as I was tired of using my old, worn out trainers. Had my first session yesterday using them and it was like squatting with your feet cemented to the floor. They are really well built and I should get tons of usage out of them. So far, big thumbs up from me. @Eenuh bought my some new Olympic dumbbell bars for Christmas. I used those for the first time yesterday and am quite impressed with them. I love getting new shit!
  17. Awesome work, dude. I always feel nostalgic whenever I see a MegaDrive/MegaCD combo.
  18. I would personally just stick with it. I wasn't immediately wowed by it, but it has a certain quality that does suck you in. It gets better the more you get into it. (also, no album is ever really good on just a first playthrough. They take repeated listens, time to digest and getting used to it. This is more of the equivalent of judging Radiohead's OK Computer after the first two songs and only one listen)
  19. Financial Fair Play is totally meaningless and is just a mockery now. I doubt anything will happen and I can see the prices just increasing and increasing. Agents (and others) make far too much money from this game and there are far too many outside interests involved. Football is due a crash.
  20. Probably deserved a yellow. Whether he went into the crowd or not is irrelevant really, it was a push and that is more deserving of a yellow. Still a stupid thing to do. So, Coutinho is off then. £142million is a lot of money, until you realise that all transfer prices are now inflated. Virgil Van Dyk being an example of that. May as well just play with Monopoly money.
  21. I really want to believe you (I don't), but I don't think I'll ever forgive you for the "The Last Jedi is the best Star Wars film since The Empire Strikes Back" line. There's hype and then there's that. Jumanji looks like trash.
  22. Is there a huge price difference between the PS4 slim and Pro? If the difference is small, then you may as well go for a PS4 Pro. Are you planning to go 4K in the future? I can't imagine that you would notice a difference either way unless you had a game running side-by-side on the two consoles. From what I've been reading, PS4 Pro does offer some performance improvements, but that is only on a selection of titles. I don't know what the price difference is between the two. If it was me, I'd go for the Pro, only because it's future proof.
  23. It'll prove to be a good purchase for you, even if you find that you don't use it all too much immediately. It'll help you to identify which chords sound good with other chords. You may even find that through learning and listening to others songs that some of this lines up with the progressions in the Chord Wheel. We've got our guitars placed in the wall mount that is attached to the wall in the second bedroom. The issue at the moment is that the room doesn't really have anywhere to sit just yet. So, we're going to purchase a sofabed for that room. It should mean that I'll be able to just go in there and play straightaway in future, rather than potentially lugging the guitar and amps downstairs. In the old flat, it would take a few minutes to get the guitar from the rack, amp it up, plug it all in, plug in headphones, effects pedals, etc. I'm looking forward to being able to access all of the equipment easily soon.
  24. That game had the best and the worst of the Premier League. Great goals, poor finishing from some players, diving, penalties, players scoring who shouldn't be on the pitch, posts and crossbars being hit, last minute chances. I loved it! Could easily watch that again.
  25. Yeah, I noticed that @Eenuh's house in Belgium has access to all of the international channels, like French, Italian, German channels. Even BBC1 is on there, so I can watch Match of the Day when I'm abroad. A bit of a shame we don't have that here. At least, I don't think we do.
