  1. She was a friend of Sheikah, and that was mentioned within the first three posts of her thread, I think.
  2. D'oh, I didn't think of that earlier. Brilliant choon. I used to work at a call-centre, and my boss was a big Radiohead fan. He came in one day and said "Jim, listen...Electioneeeeeeering!" and had it playing on his computer. Geek.
  3. I remember the name, although I can't remember much about you as a person. 4 years is a long time. Welcome, Seamusssss. Aran!
  4. I'm going to have to say Postal Service, too. The PJ Harvey song just didn't do much for me.
  5. Ooo, there's quite a few on there, Thanks. I'm going for Primary schools. I can't afford to move out at the moment, and it's about an hour and 20 minute drive to get to these places, ish. Hmm, I could apply, but that's a long drive? Including traffic.
  6. I do drive. Although I don't have a car at the moment, but my family may help me out there, hopefully. Hmm, if there's jobs there, heh.
  7. I think it's probably down to every new member being a suspected banned member. I feel for these new guys. It's a baptism by fire. It's a good subject, I think. What do collectors do? Do they end up buying two copies of everything, like I mentioned? If so, that's a damn expensive hobby.
  8. The areas are the Rhondda and South Gloucestershire. So, completely opposite directions, with Newport in the middle. Gloucestershire is just over the bridge, and it's only around 30 minutes drive time, which isn't terrible. However, I just don't know how it works with regards to paying the toll boothes. Ahh, Woolworthes worth it. That's the opposite of worthless.
  9. Aww, Jayseven killed a lot of the first post. I don't consider myself a collector of games. Like Eevil says, I buy games to play them. It must be pretty sweet to have a huge games collection with different consoles and stuff, but I don't think I could purposefully not open games. Unless I had bought two copies of the same game, which would mean you'd be spending twice as much, and that's just too expensive for me, imo.
  10. Did you just miss the posts above you, or are you purposely ignoring them?
  11. 15 Step. - wait for the interlude - wait for it to kick in. These are the ones I've picked off from the top of my head. They might not all be "ohmygodthisisasfastasstockholmsyndromemykidneysaregoingtofalloutofmyarse" fast, but they're still pretty upbeat. There's many others out there.
  12. Hehe, that is pretty sweet. Did you see that bottom picture of the caravan? It's better than a lot of living rooms I've seen. My weekend predictions: Saturday Blackburn 2 - 1 Wolverhampton Liverpool 3 - 0 Burnley Man City 1 - 2 Arsenal Portsmouth 0 - 0 Bolton Stoke 0 - 2 Chelsea Sunderland 2 - 1 Hull Tottenham 1 - 2 Man Utd Wigan 1 - 1 West Ham Sunday Birmingham 1 - 3 Aston Villa Fulham 2 - 2 Everton
  13. There's a few jobs that I'm after, although they seem to be in quite a few iffy areas. Basically, I'm either going towards the Valleys or towards England. So, I'm doing one application as we speak. The one that just seems to not want to be completed. I've got another one to fill out in the same area, and I've rang the council to request an application form for another school. So, that's three potentials. Not including the one I'm still waiting to hear from. I feel a bit more worth...something. What's the opposite of worthless? Worthmore! I feel worthmore!
  14. Paranoid Android says Hi. There's quite a bit of variation with Radiohead. Idioteque is pretty strange considering what came before it. Muse have their slow songs too. It's not all Plug in Baby.
  15. Your Facebook status says hi. A flattering score-line. I watched the game and thought the ladies played fairly ok for most of the game. The Germans were just ruthless infront of goal. Always looked like they were going to score. Lennon over-ran Evra in the Carling Cup Final, and Evra didn't look like he ever fully recovered from that for the rest of the reason, imo. He definitely needs some more cover, which I don't think he had a great deal much of when Ronaldo was here. But, Nani has done a lot better this year tracking back, and I think that's one area of Valencia's game where we won't have to worry too much about. Saying that, Tottenham are a very dangerous team. Looking at their squad, the likes of Cudicini, Lennon, Modric, Defoe, Crouch, Kranjcar, Keane, Assou-Ekotto, these are all very good players. Actually, looking at their squad-list, I'd say that Tottenham should at least be looking at the 5/6th position mark with what they have, and if everything goes to plan with the way of results, they might be a cheeky bet for fourth place. It's going to be a great game, but these sorts of games make me extra nervous. They've made a great start to this season, so you know they'll be in good spirits.
  16. Yeah, and I guess he is our regular poster of stuff. The only thing I would ask is for him to cut things down a bit more sometimes, because reading a wall of headache can be text inducing. Now, if he was a site-worker, it would be different. Mainly because it is just copy and paste, rather than re-writing and reporting. But, as long as he keeps it short, and posts a source here, I don't think it's too much of a problem.
  17. Ok, so camping is where you stay in the same spot for the majority of the game? All I wanted to know what at which point does camping become camping, which you answered in your second point. It's bugged me a little when I've played FPSs in the past because I've found it hard to tell whether one person has just remained stationary for the majority of the game, or if they've stopped to take aim and get a few kills. The final comment was a bit of a joke scenario, something you'd probably see in a Monty Python sketch. Although, if you're not really a fan of linking real war with videogames, then maybe the Call of Duty thread isn't the right place to be. Might want to give Medal of Honour a miss, too.
  18. That's awesome. It's the same percentage of posts of yours that are negative remarks. In all seriousness, Dante is the resident copy and paster. He may not re-write everything from scratch, but we love him all the same.
  19. That's it. I'm glad you knew what I meant. It was my mate's 360, so he knew all the ins and outs. Although, I won about 95% of games we played. That's skill for ya. Hmm, that animation idea of yours sounds like it would cause a few problems though? What if the player is running for example? Or, what if the ball is in the air and the player then presses the button and releases? It could be more immersive, but I think it would be a very difficult thing to get right.
  20. Hmm, it's not much of a surprise, though. When I heard it the first time I thought "what? did that happen? Did that happen with all of the other places and I've just not noticed?" Looking back on it though, it was maybe cool the first time around, but then I just think it sounds a bit too cheesy when compared to the rest of the game. Kinda like that intro sequence with the voice. I'm probably one of the only ones who didn't like it too much. It seems to get a lot of people going.
  21. One question I would like to ask: With the responsiveness of the controls, me and my mate were a tiny bit peeved with 09 regarding some of the responsiveness. Say, for example, you shoot, it doesn't seem to come exactly when you want it to. Its a problem that many games have, where the buttons are pressed but the moves aren't carried out straight-away, so that there is some build-up of missed moves. I knew there was a way to cancel moves, although I have forgotten which button it was on the 360. Did many people have this problem? It wasn't a huge problem, but a niggly one that did frustrate us once or twice. Is this tighter in the new game?
  22. Haha, would it please you if he wore a leopard skin thong, with a sheep's head that plays Puff Daddy's rendition of I'll Be Missing You? Although, damn, I would pay good money to see that. As Flamers says, he does do little things to make the show a spectacle. Granted, not everyone will like it, there will be plenty of people who will watch him and want to eat out his intestines from the inside. But, what I think he does well is that he sucks people in, and brings out their own imaginations. Listen to all these crazy theories and ideas and such. He instigated that, and I think that just shows that he is pretty good at what he does. Actually, I don't want him to reveal what he has done, because I feel that will kill the whole illusion. He's got expert magicians fooled, so he has done a pretty good job at this.
  23. Yeah, there definitely was a voice in the original. "Impact Craterrrr" In all honesty, I thought it was very cheesy and corny, and didn't fit in line with the rest of the game at all. The other locations in the game weren't given a voice-over bit, and it just felt out of place.
  24. At which point does stopping/staying in the same place become camping? Imagine you're the sniper, and you stop to take aim and make a kill. Now, what if somebody else comes straight into view? Should you move position for the sake of not camping, or do you kill the next target, take a quick look around and then move to another location? I could just imagine in a war, where a sniper on the other side gets two or three kills, and the armed forces just declare "That's so not fair! Camper!" and decide to head home. Haha.
